Small town feels which are great for a slow autumn afternoon. The staff and the locals were so friendly. Considering the other reviews and the fact threat there is 0 competition, I expected it to be much worse. Besides the soups being too salty, everything else was fine. You can tell the employees and patrons care about their town with the activities they plan. Adjust your expectations and enjoy accordingly. Have a few drinks, eat some food, buy something from the minimal general store or the gift shop. And enjoy cheap beer and the game on the TVs if you like college football.

Always have a great time here. Rode my Harley there and it's a beautiful ride on the sweeping mountain road. Malissa the Bartender is a hoot! Everyone made me and my buddy Mike feel like family! We will come back again often. The food is real home cooking and the desert is amazing!Parking: Limited to about twent cars and motorcycles.

Exceptional service and great food. Breakfast is my favorite meal out, and savoring it was a true delight.We were a group of 10; incl 2 small boys. They gave 2 thumbs up with a big grin and clean plates. They were Quiet, busy eating. Looking forward to the next meal their....Lunch?, Dinner?...can't wait!Kid-friendliness: Our 5 & 7 yr old were behaved & enjoyed the food. Our waitress was attentive to their minimal needs. Very warm & welcoming.

We waited for over an hour to get our food and only got it after having hunt them down to ask about it. The were not apologetic and the waitress gave another table who got there after us their food first. She even and sat and chatted with them. Very unprofessional. The food was mediocre at best. Sad because my in-laws thought they got bad service because they're Mexican and felt unwanted. They felt very bad about the whole experience. Hate to leave bad reviews on small businesses but this was terrible.

What great tasting food and plenty of it. The staff is so friendly and will do anything to please you. Pricing is good. My family and I drive 1 hour to eat here. It's a true American Place to Eat.Kid-friendliness: Super nice people run this place.

Oh my God... the food here is beyond holy! I had the chilly omelet (risky choice) and it was the bomb! I’ve never had a better omelet. My boyfriend had the French toast with polish sausage. Everything was so effing good, home made, fresh and just marvelous. Also the lady who took care of us was a darling. The place is small and cozy and the vibe is relaxed and sweet. I will drive every weekend that I can from LA to get my breakfast here and have a swim in the river.

This place looks like someone opened up their living room and dining room and fit inside as many dining tables and chairs as they could. It has such a home-y feel, but was a tad awkward for us with how empty it was around our 5:30pm arrival time. I got the chicken cheddar melt, which was the waitress' recommendation and it was so delicioussssss. My husband got the mushroom burger (mushrooms on a regular meat burger) and enjoyed it. The fries were probably the frozen-in-a-bag kind, but that's fine. Main downside is how long it took to get our food - 23 minutes after ordering (even though there were only a couple other customers). It was interesting to see how small-town the place was. We even saw another customer stand up and get her own utensils from a drawer!

This place is out of the way but well worth it. It’s definitely a hidden gem. Love the vibe, everything on the menu was available and everything we ordered was delicious. Atmosphere is just plain fun! Loved it. Definitely would go again and even take my mrs… we went on a “bro date” to the range and all 7 of us loved the selection of food and beer available. Service was quick polite and efficient. I just plain love these types of places.

Good food and a true family owned restaurant experience. Great staff and good vibe. Classic American food menu with a small south of the border section including breakfast, lunch and dinner options.For lunch, I had really good smoked pork loin and chicken platter which you can tell was freshly smoked on site and it was quite tasty. Basic, well-prepared baked beans and garlic bread were good sides and some samples of the chocolate cover popcorn were offered.I can't say the food was extremely memorable but it was good going down, the service was great and the experience unique.

This spot is pretty awesome it's a nice little bar/store in Lytle Creek it's great if you want to extend your stay off-roading and camping or if you're taking a day trip with a friend it's a great way to end the day their bar is Lively at night and the staff is very friendly and helpfulParking: You have to park in the dirt but it's not difficult and very close to the storeKid-friendliness: The restaurant basically sits in the middle of a neighborhood so the kid friendliness is a given

I've been to this place once before it was excellent however, my second visit on January 1st 2022 was very different. The service was extremely slow. We ended up walking out because we had been waiting for over 30 minutes and our foods still hadn't been served and there was only one other group in the restaurant it was clearly a slow day. I really don't know why everything was taking so long. On top of that I could hear the cook coughing in the kitchen... I'm not a big covid conspirator however, I would be lying if I said that didn't make me a little concerned. Finally as we're waiting for our food I watched our server sit down at the bar and eat... Not a good look! I gave this place three stars because the first visit was amazing. I will give this place one more chance because I love the location and the look of the place. I just hope I'm not disappointed. I hate to be this person (negative reviewer) however, I like this place enough that I hope reviews like this will turn it around and make it a lifelong place that I visit.
