This market has a small town feel that is very nostalgic. Customer service is excellent! They have a large variety of products. It's a grocery store/hardware store/deli/drugstore all rolled into one! The manager's desk is at the front of the store, facing the interior of the store just like something you would see in an old movie. Whether you're there to pick up a few items or a complete grocery shop, grab a quick bite to eat, you always find friendly and welcoming faces. More than likely you're going to run into your neighbors or meet new ones. Prices are a bit high but it's understandable with a one stop shop. Somebody got it right!

I was not expecting what I found as I entered this store...Adventure Time: I had been on a mission to purchase some books by Bill Mann - guides to the Desert for locations of interest and how to get there... I started my day going to Palm Desert to another store who carried them (admittedly I for got the name of this store, my friend had told me to come here) when I arrived there they were not open and I was told by neighboring businesses that they were never open... So I called my friend and he directed ms to this place... He said it was a supermarket... I thought why would I go to a grocery store to get books...Back to my review now:He said supermarket... As I drive up there is a large sign that says "Super Market" yes with a space... I chuckled at that... Until I entered and realized it was not a supermarket is was a SUPER Market.. They have just about anything you could need except the kitchen sink... But hey I didn't look everywhere maybe they have those too... So now I understand he didn't say supermarket he said Super Market...I found the books I came for and a few extra books... Great place and friendly staff too... So I know where to shop when I'm out here in Lucerne Valley...

I went with my uncle to do a little shopping. The store had everything you could need in the dessert. Ekectronics, plumbing, motor oil, as well as food. A wide variety of stuff. The prices were a little higher than I’m used to, but not to my uncle.

Being the only real grocery store in the area, they have the upper hand. Most of the items are way over priced but they carry almost anything you could imagine from toilets and other household supplies to a tasty steak including alcohol of any kind. The employees are always helpful and friendly.

Went to buy grocery’s and got alcohol the lady wanted to card me and my husband I let her know I had my id on my phone but if she needs it I can walk to the car with my infant on a hot day and go and get it and she still refused to sell us the alcohol with valid ids ITS THE GIRL WITH SHORT BROWN HAIR AD GLASSES hope she gets fired she looks new then we went inside for water and she thinks she needs to continuously smile as if I THATS OKAY clearly by the comment you don’t understand I offered to go get my id she then denied me what made me mad was your employee being unprofessional and smiling and laughing at my husband while he walked back into the store THAT IS NOT OKAY

Nice market in the middle of nowhere 😆 You will find not only food or alcohol, but also hardware and household items. Matter the fact, it's a very clean store and well organized. Staff is friendly and polite.

I stopped in mostly to use the facilities. And what a delightful surprise. I thought I walked into a upscale boutique market. Its fabulous! Thrifty ice cream. A lovely produce section. USDA meats at a good price. Well stocked. It is first class. Just in time to light the bbq. Stop in if your in the area. Gifts counter looked really nice too.

I advise any person from the LGBT community not to shop here. They have a lot of rude insensitive lgbt jokes in their little ad sales paper every week. As a Caucasian male who is gay I will no longer be supporting this store and it sucks because it’s the only store that sells mainly everything in Lucerne valley but I will certainly go the extra distance where I’m respected and supported. And I will also be making flyers with their little insensitive jokes to post around Lucerne Valley. Yes I’m spreading awareness. How dare you walk around in your little red shirts making minimum wage thinking you’re in a position to make someone else feel less than.

I love this store. I have been found here since I was a kid. I always love to stop and shop. Great variety. Still has a great hardware department. Great burgers. Thrifty ice cream. Fried chicken is very tasty. Helpful and friendly staff.

Great place to shop certain products are great just wish they were more open to having the transgender community shop without being harassed its not cool thought they were welcoming to anybody who shops regardless of their nature hope they see what this world needs is a good change. By the way the prices are ridiculous on alot of products wish they were reasonable to afford but nope we need change its hard to purchase a decent amount of food for under 40 bucks there because prices are unreasonable to their competitors I rather go somewhere else but I do enjoy shopping there regularly nice customer service and overall good location please lower prices a little if you can not alot of us can afford to live week by week

This market has it ALL!! need to fix a leaking toilet 🚽 they got what you need. Need a heater they got that too...I mean man...I can fix my car get a key made, send money orders and get dinner all in the same place. Support your local market. This is one of the most cleanest grocery stores I have ever been in. Right down to the front windows don't even don't even have fingerprints on them. Employees are always friendly and are knowledgeable and their departments they work in.

The Lucerne Valley Market is one of the best little markets around. For an independent market, they have a great selection of very many different things. A great paint and Hardware department. I always enjoy their service deli for a nice sandwich or a breakfast burrito in the morning. The store is always clean and well stocked . They have been consistently good for many decades. We have gone before & the staff is always very nice & helpful. However I live in Lucerne Valley and would love to shop @ the market more often as they have a large variety of items. Everything from a Lil Cafe w/thrifty ice cream to major power tools & Everything in between. Thier prices are just too high to shop there on a regular basis. Im a single mom and a small back of Tampons @ 5.29 & a single pack of baby wipes @ 3.49 was just over 9 dollars. I mean the top ramen is even more than most stores. I understand that we are in the middle of no where just about and there is alot of traffic from the rigs and people traveling towards/to big bear but if we are paying for convenience, call it a liquor store or something as people then know they are going to pay more. Maybe a "One n Done" or something but alot of locals I know dont shop there because thier prices are too high. 😔 Maybe a local discount would be beneficial and a positive incentive for both parties and bring additional local traffic.When you go into a store w/food for one thing while hungry.

I walked into this store in December 2019 on my way up the back route to Big Bear Lake. It's the shortcut if you want to bypass all the traffic and snow. I know the store was expanded in the early 1990's but it felt like all the 1960's markets I grew with in the San Fernando Valley. It was a treasure. The Lighting, the open displays running along the isle's, the long deli counter. It felt like home. And of course it had everything you could ever need. Food, hardware everything. A hidden gem .

This is a great supermarket - considering it is in a small community, it seems to have a huge selection. It also stocks many hardware items! There is even a great selection of books covering the history and points of interest in the local area of the Mojave Desert. To top it off, they have a great cafe known for their chicken and burgers.

Deli is way to slow. I gave them another chance,but today we let the manager know that a off road dirt bike was racing around very fast in their parking lot. All she said ; yeah yeah and they didn't do anything to stop it. I guess they have good insurance. I can see the problem here. No responsibility from management.
