It's been a few years but the food looked amazing, but the flavors and experience fell flat. The burger was the best, the pasta and sauce was ok, but the flavors were too extreme and opposite and wish there was more seasoning to bring the dish together. The creme brulee was a HUGE disappointment. The creme was runny watery and not firm. Then the brulee was stuffy and Taffy like, not hard at all and couldn't be shattered. Huge fail for us today when we remember it being good years ago.

Nice place, very busy on a Friday afternoon so we were seated at the bar. Unfortunately our Corsica pizza was undercooked and soggy, swimming in cold chicken sausage juice. Second attempt was good but pizza was bland. I asked for red pepper, which came in fast food packets. Salad was very good and they have an excellent wine selection as you would expect. I've had good meals here before but this was not one of them.

Traveled through this nice little town and decided to try this cafe for dinner. The food was amazing. I ordered the hanger steak and the rest of my party ordered pasta, salmon and chicken breast. The food was fresh and delicious. The tomatoes were in season so the flavor was out of this world. The staff works hard and even though we waited some time for our food it was worth the wait.

An unplanned diversion to our travel schedule had us stopping in Los Olivos. A nice walk around the small downtown and we were ready for lunch with a glass of wine. Settled on the Wine Merchant and Cafe and couldn’t be happier. My wife is gluten free with the menu having numerous options to many dishes. She chose a sandwich with one of the best buns she has ever had since restricting gluten from her diet. The bun was made in house. They also do French fries in seperate oil. Was she delighted to be able to chose among the plenty options. Their wines by the glass did not follow the standard selections seen in most places but had many hidden gems that we didn’t expect. The two we tried we ended up buying bottlesTo take with us.You can’t go wrong here. A great establishment that does not disappoint.

Great place as usual. Havent been in a long time, and they were as good as ever.All the dishes were fresh, tasty, well presented, large portions, and just perfect. Took only a few pic, the best one of the Gnocchi, which was simply delicious.Vegetarian options: Have many options and vegetables are grown at their farm.

I've been coming to Los Olivos Wine Merchant for years. They NEVER disappoint with there service, Environment and excellent quality food and wine. I was just there for lunch and had an excellent salad and it was fresh and full of flavor. The server was excellent and while I was waiting had excellent conversation with one of the staff members. I can always depend on a nice afternoon in los olivos and lunch at this excellent restaurant. Look forward to next visit, thank you!

Came here last year w/ my girlfriend and thought it was decent so this year I brought my family and what a disappointment the food was! Most of the food was super bland tasting & didn't have much flavor and needed more salt or seasoning. Citrus Olive Oil Cake was $12 and it was more like a small microwaved muffin with cream. Took a bit of time for waitress to accommodate us most of the time we were there.

Went to lunch yesterday for the first time and love everything about the experience! The menu and food is 10 stars!! Even the folks sitting next to us were blown away. Was so impressed will be dinning there once a month (at least). Everything is grown on their farm! The frocacia bread is a must have with every meal. The salads are amazingly delish and so is the made in restaurant soup. The sandwiches and entree selection are why we will keep returning because we want to experience every single one. Pricing is very fair. Reservations are suggested. Dog friendly patio dinning. Cant wait to go back!

We totally lucked out getting a table at the last minute at this authentic Italian place in Los Olivos. Whereas the menu was somewhat expensive, it’s worth it because the portion sizes are good and the restaurant sources produce from their own organic farm. Their bread is to die for... be careful as it can fill you up. We shared the gnocchi and their vegetarian mushroom pasta, both absolutely delectable. We loved our food so much, we thought we couldn’t leave without trying out their desserts. And we are glad we did! All in all, it was one of our best dining experiences as we celebrated Mother’s Day one week early this year. We will definitely visit them again in the future.

I just have to say that the attention to detail made for an awful experience. First of all our waiter missed one of our guests orders, which needed to be placed after we finished our salad. Our salad and soup wasn’t served prior to our meal, it was served with our main meal! We didn’t like this! My meal came out with my guests salad and soup. There was a shift change. When we ordered dessert and coffee, coffee was served way before our dessert was served, we ate our dessert after we had our coffee, not along with the coffee! No Birthday recognition! (Which I told the hostess ahead of time, and even had to point out where we were sitting) we are locals and will “NOT” return. Server’s need more training! Very unhappy experience for the price!

A truly excellent experience. The service was friendly and attentive. The food options were interesting, and my selection (a simple turkey sandwich and baked brie), was surprisingly interesting. I don't normally think of a turkey sandwich as an exciting choice, but their crema was really tasty and I devoured the sandwich! The ambiance is peaceful but interesting with good people watching. Definitely a go to place.

Los Olivos café is a quaint little restaurant. We had such a pleasant time there. We decided to go out of the way to see a new place and this little wine town surprise us so good. We decided to stop by Los Olivos cafe and service and food was fantastic. Matt helped us, he was great. We had some olives, a variety to taste and wine of course. We highly recommend this restaurant and their service, food is high quality. Theres a wine display and you can also buy souvenirs.
