Hands-down, one of the best pet stores around. Everyone is friendly. A lot of great selection. You can pretty much find anything you’re looking for pet wise here. They got a great dog selection. They have a lot of choices. They have all sorts of price ranges so if you want to spend a lot or spend a little bit, you can hear. I love coming here. My dog loves coming here. The store is currently located to where I’m always around. I highly recommend coming here for any dog or cat accessories. The staff seem very knowledgeable. Thank you.

I feel so lucky to have come across this place. My senior pup was sick with no appetite and her vet appointment wasn't for a few more days. I wanted to try and find something she'd eat before we could get to the vet, and the shop employee was so kind and helpful, going over options with me and even offering me some samples of items to try to see if she would eat them. I was really touched by her kindness and definitely will be back (and PS, my pup is better again now too)!

Came in for a dog bed and wash shocked at what they were trying to sell them for. Large dog bed 169-300 dollars. You have got to be kidding me. Went to Costco and found a very nice large dog bed for 40. They do look like they have an assortment of good food but ridiculously over priced. Stay away. I was super disappointed! Might as well buy my dog a queen size mattress at Ikea!

Sometimes I go to the grocery and buy the $1/can friskies but I love to come to Urban Pet and get my cat Edith some really good stuff, the higher end protein-heavy stuff that is better for her than the chicken by-product stuff of lower priced brands.. I want to say the canned cat foods are about $1.50 per can at Urban Pet. The staff is always friendly and the environment is nice. : )

I would give 5 stars but some and only some of the workers will try to avoid you. Two girls there are really nice and very helpful... way better experience here then south Pasadena store, seems the young girls there really really hate their job!

Went into the store w my mom to get some stain remover for cat pee, was guided to the 32oz ‘Nature's Miracle Advanced Platinum Stain’ stuff by the helpful staff. At the register, we were charged approximately $41 just to go online and find the bottle for $16 shipping included. Ouuuch.

I love this pet supply store. it's a small, local chain with a number of locations around the los angeles area. the prices are fair. the place has some style without giving you the sense that you're paying extra for some unnecessary fluff. the workers are knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. I even meet the owner at one location & he was super nice. I highly recommend.

They have a good selection of healthy foods for cats. It is well stocked on both cat and dog items. Not all stores carry a large selection for cats.

I love this place, very convenient to my house and always plenty of parking. Not sure if the prices are competitive but they seem not that bad for a boutique pet store.
