I love this place. They have so many things I can get for my puppy from food to toys. The staff here is amazing! I have taken my puppy here twice to get groomed, and they took amazing care of him. They are the only people I trust with him. He is so calm and happy here. DD is so sweet, kind, and loving. I need to bring my baby here more often ❤️

Love this place. Always a great experience coming in and they have a wide variety of food and stuff for your pets. L and Al are always helpful and welcoming and definitely highlight the experience every time we come in for my dog.

I just love Urban Pet here in silverlake! They have a wonderful selection of cat food row after row and everything healthy for your little Fur friends for dogs it seems to be about 90% of the entire store! The staff are very kind, courteous and super personable. This is one of my go to spots on a monthly basis. If you're in Los Angeles in particular East LA silverlake area stop by and make some good choices with some good healthy pet foods. PS, I happened to be there on Easter and one of the employees told me that there was an Easter egg hunt within the store and to keep my eye out for hidden eggs. Sure enough I found an Orange egg and upon opening it I received a prize of 1 year free membership which entitles me to 5% discount on all items! Wow that really made my day! Thank you to the management!!😁✌🙏🎸💲😻

While I love their store and the staff at the store. I find their grooming customer service inconsistent. I called a few days ago and never received a call back and when I called today to follow up for an appointment I was brushed off and was told I'll be getting a call on Saturday. Trying to schedule an appointment to get your cat groomed shouldn't be this difficult.

This store has everything you need for your pet! I've been coming here for more than 15 years and I am a proud and satisfied customer of The Urban Pet - Silver Lake. On my most recent visit I bought a squeaky toy and a bag of treats for Liz, my 5 1/2 year old cocker spaniel. We were both very happy with the purchase!

I go here for all my premium cat food needs. They have good prices and a small discount if you join their members club. Also twice a year members sale for a little bigger discount. Always friendly and well stocked. Employees are knowledgeable and able to answer questions.

I LOVE it here!! I just moved to the neighborhood and was impressed as soon as I walked in. Very friendly greeting, the store is immaculate and stock is great. The groomer was so sweet, accommodating and gentle, my baby loved her. The gentleman at the cashier in the pet store was so genuinely friendly. Chatted about all of the great spots for dogs around the neighborhood and even gave my babies a treat! Definitely got way more than I expected and will be a regular for sure! Highly recommended

The Urban Pet is truly a wonderful place in my community! I just moved here from out of state and they were so helpful in getting my cat's food ordered for me. I love their selection of dog food. It can be a bit pricey but quality is great. Also I love the self serve doggie wash. Regular price is $14 and only $11 on Mondays. I always wash on a Monday because I love discounts.

Love this place.. staff is nice and friendly. I love to see how the groomers hug and kiss the dogs, it makes me want to bring mine to get groom. Only problem is that a while ago like 2 months ago I got to see a small dog on the table unsupervised with the leash tied on the metal arm. It was different staff then today. That's my only concern. But I do bring my dogs here for self wash and to buy them treats and stuff.

I'm a big believer in supporting local shops, so it always a nice surprise when a great store opens up nearby. The people who work here truly love animals and care about providing quality products and service. The selection and prices are great, and Jonathan is really knowledgeable about the different foods. My dog loves this place so much she heads there on her own when we're out walking.

Love this place. The store clerks are knowledgeable and can give a lot of advice, but never have tried to upsell me. Lots of good, weird alternatives, food ranging from raw to kibble and everything in between. All kinds of vitamins. Anytime our pup isn't in the pink I'll stick my head in there and see if I can get him sorted.
