Great local spot, prices as good if not better than Target. You won't find a huge variety of fruits and vegetables like H Mart nor the low pricing of Aldi but the location is great for locals. Definitely a good spot to stock up on essentials

I like going to the store because there is a lot of parking, the store and usually what I need. What I don't like is the employees. I was in the store this morning and only two employees was nice to me. They have only 1 or 2 electrical carts. At least, I have been able to get one but what if there is other customers that need one? And they usually have only 1 or 2 lines open, so the checkout line usually very long. They need more lines especially during the busy times.

Produce is frequently old and spoiled, don’t bother buying potatoes here, they are usually moldy or have a green tint which is sign of developing toxins unfit for consumption. Experienced this with both the bagged and unbagged variety.

Generally, it's pleasant shopping at Smart & Final, but this morning there was one cashier and the line was very long. They eventually opened another register which helped us move through the line faster. Otherwise, I like shopping here.

The worst Smart & Final Extra! In LA...The manager is extremely rude and she talks to people with attitude..I buy big quantities of ice from smart and final..This's the worst spot ever!

Awesome store!! I usually go to the one downtown or even the one on Beverly Blvd because they are closer to where I live but I like this one so much better it's going to be my go to store now. Great prices and bigger selection than any one that I've been to.

No telephone # asked, no points earned, no buy one get 10 free, no rewards, no purposely confusing price tags absolutely zero gimmicks, no nothing, no BS in general just plain low prices, clean, well stocked store with courteous and fast service. Better than Costco if you’re done with your electronics, furniture and clothing needs. No membership fees but don’t take my word for granted, just visit the store and pass the word to others, we definitely need to patronize this place and help our local economy as well.

All five stars are for Shay the cashier. She is fantastic and even trains others to be great. If you get in her line you will be out the door before everyone else with a smile on your face. After a tough day of work she makes everything better and everyone knows it. Otherwise the prices are really good but the produce can be suspect. You can find some amazing deals in the meat section and stockers will be helpful if it looks like things are out.

worse customer service.On July/23/2022 around 9:00 PM we had to wait 30 minutes in the line and only one register was open. She was not tanking people for their patience and did not care about big line. The manager was on their front office and she was not willing to open another Cashier. Very bad experience….

I've been going to this location for well over 20 years. Lines are sometimes long with few cashiers working at that time. Definitely some of the cashiers need customer service training (a lot). Some can be quite rude for no reason. At least one plus, there is one cashier who is super nice and knows how to interact with customers.

Best shopping experience since the virus madness began. The line outside moved quickly, the inside was normal not over-regulated, free-flowing. Great prices, no price gouging here!! Plexiglass to protect the checker. I will return.

I went this store at 10:30 at night. I had called earlier and a very nice women graciously helped to me to find out if they had certain items, she even gave me details and prices! The woman and the man I dealt with were more than awesome, helping me find things once I was there (maybe they were happy as they were leaving shortly! :) Just a great experience which I was not expecting. I wish I had gotten their names. Thank you!

This was my first visit to this particular store and I didn't know where a lot of items were. I was doing personal shopping for a customer through Instacart so I was under a time constraint. Every staff-member I asked for assistance went out of his or her way to help me. I mean, I needed a ladder brought for items pushed back on the top shelves (I'm tall and reached all that I could); I needed advise on whether I should purchase bags for my customer. Any help I needed was delivered with a, "No problem" and a smile. Even the customers were helpful! It was an enjoyable experience and I look forward to shopping there again soon!

Good selection and variety for light grocery shopping, but not much more than that. Tons of parking and lot is usually empty. More importantly though, this place probably has the worst check out lines of any grocery store - there's no self checkout, and they're very slow to open up new checkout lanes even when there's 5+ people in line for each open lane. Please add some self checkout machines.

Best prices in my hood. Easy in, easy out. I shop almost daily because I walk everywhere, only carry a bag a day or so. Never got the virus and now fully vaxed.

They only had one lane open with the light on. They had 2 more lanes open without the lights on. I stood in the the line that had the light on. The other 2 lanes kept taking customers. If their lane is open turn on the light. I got frustrated I left my whole cart of groceries and walked out, The Manager was no where to be found.

I usually go here when I can't find stuff at the Smart and Final on Pico just west of Sepulveda. It's bigger and the employees are just as nice and helpful. Wish they could get the bulk coconut water I liked again.

Honestly pretty legit. Small or no lines and things are fairly priced. I wouldn't buy produce or fresh food items but everything else seems worth it. I buy sparking water here and it's a good deal.

It was it's usual easy going place. Line wasn't​ long like it has been lately. Still looking for enforcement of the express lane. 12 items is okay, but c'mon a shopping cart full of groceries is pushing it and is not fair to customers with 10 items or less.

Probably the worst trained staff at this particular S&F. Cashier's are not trained to call for assistance when lines are forming. The one cashier present was answering phones while trying to ring customers AND handling purveyor questions as shipments were coming in (managers job?). Cashier ask a passing S&F employee to assist with a phone call on line one and this guy passed by without a thought in his head that the customer is his paycheck.
