Terrible place to come to purchase any bird! I recent purchased a baby cockatiel and he didn’t even last me 2 months. He was severely sick due to the mistreatment and poor care of this bird shop. I didn’t realize til later that his feathers were falling off and i asked the owner if it was bad and he told me it was something normal that happens to birds. I went to a different shop and the owner of that pet store said it wasn’t. we later found out that my baby cockatiel had an infection from the inside of his body. Do not buy your forever bird from this shop!!

A small local bird shop - not the boutique-style exotic bird shop that you find in many places nowadays. However that’s not without it’s benefits! The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. We got highly personalized service and learned a lot about birds. When I’m ready for a bird that might be the place that I get it from. Great prices too!

Really bad environment….poops in birds’ waterbottle and a lot of sick birds. I saw one love bird with most feather fall off, seem like Pbfd virus symptoms. And no one cares about them. Few Cockatiels are outside of the store, and their food were empty, bird jumping side to side and shout for food. Only birds that look health are finches, sun conure and expensive few. Others just literally looked dead.

To all customers , please when you cook in your kitchen do not keep the birds close to the kitchen , everytime you put the pan to warming up , the pan despite an a chemical the one makes the birds sick, so please keep them far away from the kitchen.

Stopped by to see what kind of birds they have and most of the birds are in cramped cages and all seem to be terrified of humans. Also no pictures allowed signs are big red flags

Bought my pineapple green cheek conure here, a bit pricey and the pet shop is very small. They have tamed and handfed birds.

We bought a 3-month old peach-face lovebird and an 8-month old parrot from Quetzal bird shop. It was a wonderful experience. The owner was kind, patient, knowledgable and taught us how to continue to handle and care for the birds so they would be tame and healthy. He hand-fed raised them and they are clearly happy and very well-cared for along with all the other birds in his shop. You can tell the owner loves what he does and has a passion for it. He taught us how to tell male from female lovebirds. Since we bought multiple birds he gave us extra discounts on the cages and even threw in an extra bag of bird seed for us. I will absolutely return to this place for any additional birds we may want in the future. Highly recommend!!

Me and my husband were very happy with his information about birds. I’ve bought birds in other places and I’ve had trouble taming them. I love that he takes very good care of the birds. The person who gave a low review and saying that the birds don’t get fed or are too cramp up. They have enough space to be around. I’ve seen him hand feed the baby birds. I’m sure his not always going to be feeding them in front on the customers. I’m very satisfied with my bird.my conure Is very healthy and tamed. He is very caring and takes time with each and one of those birds. This is one place I would highly recommend. He also taught me how to tamed my other ring birds..and I did exactly what he told me and they are slowly coming around. Great customer service for sure.

This bird shop is great. I just bought a baby cockatiel and real happy with everything. The gentleman is very knowledgeable about birds and is very friendly. He also set up the starter kit to feed the bird and taught us how to do it and how to care for it. He has many other birds there from parakeets to lovebirds. Thank you again for everything.

What a wonderful bird shop. They have so many different varieties. The owners are such kind and knowledgeable people. They won’t want to just make a quick buck off of you. They are honest with what they say and they take good care of their birds. I’ve been to many bird shops but I recommend this one to everyone. Please considering trying this bird shop, you will not be disappointed.

Great experience here. I came about a week ago to purchase some canaries and the owner was beyond helpful. I came back the following to purchase some more and the experience was even better the second time. I absolutely loooove this bird store. A warm and inviting family owned business. Gil is a very knowledgeable keeper and breeder. All of the birds were very healthy and clean. I will definitely be returning to purchase from this store.I spent some time getting to know the owner and learning the history of this shop. I cant wait to go back. I got to handle some cockatiels, amazons and love birds and they were all very tame and appeared healthy.There's even a chatty macaw named mango there presently perched out freely just relaxing. I have only positive things to say about this shop. Great place for to get a quality reasonably priced bird.

My experience with this shop was the best ever! The owner Gilmar is very experienced with parrots and birds! He really takes the time to explain care for your feathered friends. His prices are reasonable. I searched all of Los Angeles for an Indian Ringneck with no luck until I came across this shop! He has a variety of them to choose from but they go fast! He also has many other species of parrots.

I can’t begin to explain how happy my husband and I are with our visit AND purchase of two beautiful baby English Burgies. Gilmar took the time to walk us through the different types of birds. We had a lot of questions because we just lost a parrot (purchased elsewhere). He took the time to answer our questions and any concerns we had. We had a great experience with the owners (Gilmar & Patricia) at this place! We bought a Double Yellow Headed Amazon Parrot, and we do not regret it! We came in looking for a baby parrot, and he introduced us to this parrot which we fell in love immediately. Gilmar suggested to not take him home until he felt that the bird will be ready in a healthy and survival rate. He took great care of our parrot and able to take him home a couple weeks later. Gilmar gave us instructions how to take care of the parrot, and any questions to reach out. With due sincerity, if you are looking for a bird pet, this is the place to get it! Owners are very friendly, honest and knowledgeable. Thank you Gilmar for the awesome experience! We are truly happy with our parrot!

My husband had been wanting a bird for quite some time so I did a google search & found this great family pet shop. When I called Mr. Gil (the owner) was so knowledgeable & so nice that I decided to take the drive out there to check it out. We purchased a baby Indian Ringneck on Father’s Day as a gift for my hubby. We fell in love with our turquoise baby parrot “Ringo”. He is such a lovely, smart birdie who loves music. He brought so much joy to our home that we decided to get him a friend. Just over the weekend we brought “Summer” home (she’s also a baby Indian ringneck). She’s so shy but she’s so lovable. For anyone that is looking for a pet I highly recommend this place. It’s a small little shop with many baby birds (which are hard to find ) & the prices are great. Mr. Gil will work with you to make sure you go home with a beautiful pet at a reasonable price.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! My poor mom is heartbroken. I got her a baby cockatiel for her birthday and the day after we got this bird we took her to the vet and the bird got admitted into the hospital over night and had IV fluids and oxygen. The vet stated she was lethargic and not doing well and must of been sick from this bird shop since we only had her for not even a day. This sweet little bird went into cardiac arrest and they performed CPR on her and sadly passed away. After spending $300 in his store and $640 at the vet and to be left devastated. DO NOT COME HERE!

This place is amazing! We got Koi's from here, 2 days ago. Went back today to get more, and also aquarium needs. I now have beautiful, and happy fish!The customer service here is amazing! The guy is amazing! He made sure i knew everything, and even asked if i had questions. He has great deals, and beautiful birds here. Little dinky tiny dirty bird shop I ever bumped into. Stayed in there for less than one minute and came out. They did not have much selections for exotic birds at all, other than quails, chickens and doves. The did have canaries and budgies. Not much selections for bird feeds either. And it's in middle of no where. Would not recommend

I was in search of conure. Found this place because the initial store I was going to was closed.Once I arrived they were only allowing 1 party at a time inside. It’s a small but very organized place with different birds . They had different baby birds in stock . Gilmar was super helpful and knew exactly how to match me with the perfect companion. So far I have 1 day with her and she is active , eating , sleeping - she is only 4 months old and I went with the pineapple conure. He even set up the cage for me and explained that I can come back for grooming and nail trims. He made me feel comfortable and was super helpful. I highly recommend if you are looking for baby birds he is your guy ! Thank you GILMAR and family for being super kind !

After seeing all these good reviews, I visited this shop and really regret doing business here. I purchased a baby Conure from Quetzal in order to save her from the terrible conditions at this shop. The cages were crowded and dirty. Birds looked unhealthy. Upon taking her to the vet to get testing it was revealed that she had avian papilloma virus. This is highly contagious to other birds. If you purchased a bird from here recently please go get it checked. Newcomers find another shop that tests for these things.

My 1st Visit To This Pet Shop...I Was Very Impressed. Many Birds To Select From. And Many Are Hand Tamed. That was A Plus !!! Good Customer Service. He Knows Alot About Birds, and Answered All My Questions. I Am One Happy Customer. Bought My Beautiful Baby Cockatiel. I Highly Recommend.
