Thanks PLP!! Recently brought our pup, Joe Cocker, in for his 1st ever professional grooming! Wanted to take him somewhere special, not just a chain shop! He got a bath, a blow out, nails, ears…everyone was so nice and patient with him…even though the blow-dryer freaked him out! We felt welcome, like part of the neighborhood & the Pour La Pooch family… and Joe looked great! The price was quite reasonable & the experience memorable! We look forward to coming back 🐾❤️

Everyone who works there, especially the owner, is very nice. My dog is very temperamental, but they have patience with him. They also go the extra mile to try to squeeze me in if I need a last minute appointment for him. Most of all, my fur baby looks great when I pick him up!

Great job. I have a Havenese who was a hot mess, long hair dog and poop was stuck to her hair around the tush. She looks like a new dog, I love what they did. I have gone to them for many years, fair price and outstanding work.

Found a doggie in the trash bin on a Sunday. 😢 Went to Pour LA Pooch to find out if he had a chip. They were super helpful and nice. Directed me where to go to find out. They invited me back to get a discounted grooming. The pups owner found me Wednesday night. She hadn't slept since he was stolen. He was so happy to see her. I still wanted to have him groomed so we met a week later. Happy ending fortunately! Thank you PLP!!! 😊

Our 7 month old bernedoodle had his first grooming experience here and they were wonderful. He is huge and can be a lot to handle but they were so great with him!!! He looked fantastic and our groomer did exactly as we asked. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Pour La Pooch!!

Pour La Pooch is the best! We were daycare regulars with our senior dog with separation anxiety. All of the staff are amazing, the packages are a great, the dogs are closely watched and cared for, never crated, and most importantly our dog LOVED going. This was our second try for dog daycares in the neighborhood. He was fearful when getting dropped off at the other daycare. With Pour La Pooch he was a little nervous at first (he’s nervous with new places) and then loved it. Couldn’t have hoped for better.

First time I went to PLP my pup came back with a cracked, chip nail that bothered him for days. I didn't message them because what could they do at that point? I gave PLP a second shot since our local groomer (Owney) had closed down and we needed a new place to take our pup. I set up my appointment over 2 weeks in advance. I had a 10:30AM drop off and they wanted me to pick my pup up at 2:30!? That's 4 hours – which was not communicated to me when I was scheduling his appointment. My pup had just come back from overnight boarding and being at PLP he was shaking uncontrollably from all the dogs barking that I didn't want him to stay there longer than he needed to, especially since they told me they would put him in a cage until it was his turn. The front desk staff was trying to help and would talk to the groomer in the back. He sounded very annoyed and disgruntled whining how he was the only groomer that morning and yelling what time I can bring him back. At that point I didn't feel comfortable leaving my dog because I could see the guy in the back looking at me giving me dirty looks. I ended up cancelling my appointment and taking him to Bowie& Barker next door and they had him in and out in under an hour. Very disappointed with my experiences at PLP. If you guys are overwhelmed don't book so many appointments.

Every time we come in we are treated like family. My puppy always walks straight to the door of Pour La Pooch on our walks. I feel guilty as a dog mom bringing her here when I need a break but Rosie loves it without a doubt.

Five stars from start to finish. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I brought my Malti-Poo after a different groomer butchered him a bit. However, they did a great job, and I plan to be a loyal customer. Thank you for taking such great care of him!

Edit: brought my dog in for a simple nail trim and half his nails were clearly cut to the point of bleeding. On nail is so short I can barely even see it. Ridiculously unprofessional and disappointing that I'll now have to find a new groomer after trusting this spot for so long...Is it so hard to list what hours they're actually available? Called three times to verify they were available but no one answered, and the voicemail says they're open until 6. Showed up at 5:30 for a quick nail trim and was told the groomers leave at 4 on Mondays. Is it so hard to accurately list grooming hours so people aren't left stranded when they work during the day? Drove around half the city but it was already too late to find anyone else open and now I'm left desperate with no other options.

Pour La Pooch rocks. They have taken great care of my two dogs many times. The dogs are never stressed out after grooming, and are obviously cared for well during their stay. Thanks PLP!

Olga and Gia are terrific. Our Scottish Terriers come our looking perfect every time. Before and after grooming they are in the play area, not in cages which we and the dogs appreciate. We have been customers fir more than 15 years.

Pour la Pooch is a perfect example of a mom and pop shop done right. We have taken advantage of all of their services and we feel very good about leaving our dog with them. Pour La Pooch is wonderful, they’re kind which isn’t mandatory but makes it more pleasant. My dog likes it, a relief since she doesn’t like other dogs even walking by our window. She comes back fresh and cared for, one less thing to stress.
