The owner is a huge prick, I took my dog to get his nails cut and he made him bleed. He didn't care and said we were being dramatic. He reluctantly applied some ointment on my dog's nails to stop the bleeding. Another time, we came to buy bird food and he was too busy talking with someone to ring us up. When we told him if he could attend to us since it was getting too late for us to be outside he said worrying kills us faster, if we're meant to die today there's nothing we can do about it.

Reptiles look sick and don't have proper lighting ect. This place surprises me on how it's still open . Over populated tanks too

Took my dog for grooming, there was no other dogs in store at the moment, said it would be fast for that reason.I called 2 hrs later and I could hear my dog crying in the background.My son picked her up, when I checked her, she had a cut in her ear. What bothered me the most is that they try to hide it instead of coming clean saying what happened.Never again I took her there.This was March 6, 2021.

Javier is the best. I take my Pomeranian there every two weeks and he does a great job. My puppy smells clean and is very fluffed and most of all he is happy and not scared like he’s been at other places. I love this place.

Bought a bird for $1100 back in April. It’s had diarrhea since I got it. One of it’s toes crosses over the other and it’s beak was overgrown and crooked. It was sold to me as a female but is a male. I took it to the vet the second day I had it. I’ve spent $1,000 at the vet so far trying to figure out what’s up with him. I should’ve left when I saw how dirty the cages were and ruffled the birds feathers were but I felt sorry for the bird. I bought some of the low quality stale food they had to wean the bird onto higher quality and fresh foods but I ended up throwing it away as pieces appeared to be moldy.

My 1 year old husky’s first dog grooming and it went great! Love this pet store, the owners are such kind hearted people, they took good care of my little Bruno. Would definitely recommend to all! My dog looks and smells amazing. We’ll be coming back!

Not to be rude but if I could rate NO STAR at all. I went there to buy pair of Australian parakeet and the lady that "assisted" me don't know what she's selling there. First she told me the australian parakeets are for the store display only but then started to calling someone on her phone but no one answered. I waited for a couple of minutes then she told me "MAYBE 225" 😳😳😳 I told her Parakeets costs only 15 to 40 dollars (she clearly doesn't know) and so she started kicking me out. She said "okay. goodbye"

Only reason I gave it 1 star is so that I may write the review. Just rude. The owner was so rude. No selection of anything. But the rudeness superceded the lack of inventory. I wanted to support a small business in the neighborhood I grew up in, but I'll stick to the larger chain pet store in Alhambra.

I am always a bit skeptical about leaving my pet at the groomers. From the moment I walked in a lady greeted me with so much warmth and love towards my pet who seemed nervous and scared. For the first time my doggo looked happy upon picking her up. She looked beautiful, smelled great, and they gave her a cute little bandana. I recommend this place to anyone in the area. Mizuki will definitely be coming back.

This place has horrible habits. The poor birds (tropical) are in tiny cages with no food or space and are all sick and stressed. They have huge parrots that are shaking and sick and have almost no feathers from picking at them from stress. There’s dead hamsters. Dead fish. It smells horrible and it’s just cruel.

I personally was looking for many things b but the store had nothing those pictures No!!! Not at all I just wanted a pet a companion a turtle and rabbit I didn't care but they had nothing nothing or else they did not like the color of my skin I do not know what it was really but I barely was able to buy some food for my little one fish in the bottle they said they didn't have that ButI'm looking right at it please do not be fooled by my this false ladvertisement love functionthank you have a blessed day

The store looks a little abandoned. The bird cages are filthy. All the products have dust and are very old. The employee was helpful and knowledgeable.
