brought my puppy for a bath, first time using this service at this petco. girl at the grooming desk had a flat affect and took my dog in. what is enticing is the very affordable price but not worth it for a questionable job and poor customer service. an hour and a half pass by we get a call from this girl to pick up our dog and if we can come asap because he’s barking in the kennel. we come and she said he needs to be crate trained and said we should enroll him in training classes…. he’s a puppy of course and we already had him in classes if she asked. hated her attitude and our dog smelled like she poured the entire bottle of shampoo on him.

Flavia , the groomer, was so sweet with our 15-year-old corgi! Flavia examined her arthritic paws before beginning the session to make sure she didn't need to see a vet for her twisted toes. Then she took the dog with her, and carefully clipped and filed and clipped and filed. Afterward our dog almost bounced out, walking easily again.

I've been a loyal customer at this Petco since I got my golden retriever puppy at 8 weeks old last year in April. My puppy went for puppy training there, grooming, Vetco visits, gets all his dog food and toys and other accessories there. Of course he loves Petco and gets so excited and happy every time we come he simply must walk a circle inside the store.Today I barely walked inside with my dog when an employee very rudely stopped me and told me my dog and I have been banned from Petco. I asked why since I was completely shocked that my loyalty has been rewarded with a ban? I was informed that it's because my dog sometimes chew on toys when he's in the store.No.1 he occasionally does that when I'm paying because the cashier were his puppy trainers and he's so excited to see them he ran behind the counter to see what toys they have for him (they do that in puppy training). I imagine it is a testament to the ineffectiveness of their puppy training that the trainers cannot get my dog to stop when he got excited seeing them.No. 2 if he ever chew on a brand new toy for sale at the store I always buy it for himNo. 3 the only toys he chews are in the area they use for puppy training and has the scent of many other dogs on it. (of course he does that because that's what he was allowed to do when doing his puppy training at the store.. duh! If you don't want him to chew it why do you leave it lying around?In conclusion we were banned from the store because my puppy is doing puppy things? This is a national chain pet store I am simply appalled that they would do this to a loyal customer. Clearly this business does not deserve any loyalty. I'm taking my business elsewhere from now on.

This was my 2nd time taking my puppy for a bath and general grooming. Each time I felt my pup was well taken care of. Flavia at the Westwood location did a wonderful job yesterday.

They did a great job and listened to what I wanted. I felt HORRIBLE because I was on an important phone call when I picked up my pup and completely forgot to tip the groomer (believe her name was Vanessa).

Took my dog to Petco for his first grooming appointment with Emillano. Emillano was professional and concerned of my dog's needs. He explained the grooming procedure in detail. I recommend Emillano and we will be a returning client.

Can’t speak to the service because I couldn’t even use it. The information listed on this site says self serve dog wash is available. That is incorrect. You can not wash the dog yourself. They want $70 to wash your dog.
