Never going back again! Not only did they leave my dog completely and horribly shaved they treated me and my dog horribly. Especially Lucero, 100% don’t recommend going with her she will leave your dog unevenly shaved and then will try to justify it. If you can’t handle a big dog, then don’t get big dogs.

Recently had our new puppy in level 1 training with Shawne. She was patient and kind with all of us. While this location is smaller than the La Brea Petco, staff and groomers are friendly.

Trainer Shawne is Amazing and very caring 5 stars for her.My dog got bitten by another dog while training and trainer reported it to management. Petco management didn’t even call to ask about my dog’s injuries while in their class. I don’t think that’s right

Karen is amazing. We take our Maltese poodle and French Bulldog to her every month or so and she always does an excellent job with them. Our French Bulldog hates getting his nails trimmed/buffed but she always manages to do an excellent job each time. Whatever needs we have, she is always accommodating! Excellent service each time.

Shopping in LA is often a stressful and unpleasant experience but this petco was a gem. I received offers of assistance a couple times while I was there and had an associate help me find the brand I was looking for. The associate at checkout was also friendly and efficient. The store was on the smaller side but laid out in a way that was easy to navigate. The parking was super easy and plentiful.

They always have (for the most part) what my kitten needs. Toys and wet food is what I usually purchase. Also they do adoptions so you get to see all the other kittens and sometimes dogs plus the small reptiles and such. The staff is also great at this location.

Nobody answers the phone at this store. I called 2 times, second time they said they would transfer me and hung up. I have called back 7 times and nobody answers.Edit: Finally someone answered only to be extremely rude when I only wanted to know if a groomer was in today. It's literally a yes or no question. I am never coming to this store.

Please avoid this store. JV is the most awful human being. I have a small dog that barks when he sees others and I've brought him in to this store.The first time JV gave me a dirty look but my dog was on leash and in my arms and was not harming anyone or near other dogs.The last time I took him in this past week JV came to me and told me I had to shut up my dog or leave the store.I would have thought that a pet store would be the place I could take my dog and not be judged.What kind of people does Petco hire or what training do they offer that they encourage their employees to say this to customers?That same day there were other bigger dogs doing the same and he was fine with that.Don't give your business to this store and take your money to Healthy Spot across the street instead.The employees there are more understanding and offer better customer service.Petco should really look deeper into the kind of people they hire.Would love for the store manager to reach out to me directly.

They're great but they really need someone to take care of mobile orders. When you go pick up you have to wait in the check out line for however long which kind of defeats the purpose of ordering ahead.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO THIS STORE.This week a groomer named Karen chopped of a dog’s dew claw with zero consequences.The dog was taken to a vet with zero apologies from the Petco grooming salon and Ethan the store manager is ok with this.Please don’t bring your dog here to get injured by inexperienced staff.Edit.Your response to an incident that traumatized an animal is completely unacceptable and you should be ashamed of working at a pet store.Rest assured, I will let every single person in this neighborhood know what you did until your grooming salon shuts down or you hire competent people.This isn’t a bad haircut. It’s body altering injury for which you show zero remorse.Consider changing job industries and I hope nobody treats your pets or loved ones with the same carelessness and disdain that you have shown toward people’s family members.

They always have everything at a fair price. This is like Ralphs for cats and dogs. solid stuff for a good price. Cat trees, toys, fish, and a bunch of other stuff that doesn’t interest me, but my God they have lots of it!

Someone that act like manager with gray hair that worked now @ the store 2/13 at 6pmWas very selfish & unhelpful !!Was staying next to the register (store is empty) and told the employee to show me where what I needed located. She didn’t know to explain how the first aid working as well she read it with me so she wasn’t trained , he knew about the products but was too lazy to work...didn’t even move to help (I was the only customer)His only concern was to parking & masking , maybe he need to be a guard at the mall cause he have no connection to animals & customer service

Easy parking lot! Store was super clean on a Friday night. All the animals looked lively and well taken care of. A lady was feeding the cats for adoption. Super cute. Aquarium area was well stocked. Didn’t even have to wait to check out. Picked up a couple dog toys for $5. Nice little bargain bin.

I love this Petco! I drive all the way from Santa Monica to Beverly Grove because they're the only Petco that offers any kind of service. The groomers are good They still take walk-ins for certain services and the people that work there are helpful

Went inside and bought a few things for our dogs since we were passing through. Asked the lady if it was OK to stay parked there while we ran across the street for lunch. I was told by the lady at the register that her manager allows people to stay there for 2 hours. We were gone for an hour and 10 minutes. When I got back I was greeted by a gentleman that said he was the general manager. First thing he said to me was "you should be careful because I was just about to tow this. You need to let someone know you were going to stay parked here." I explained that I did and the 2 hour thing and he told me there was no such thing but would've allowed me if I told him 🙄. Power trip. As I'm leaving I see him arguing with a Grub Hub delivery driver about how is order is wrong. I'm glad life in LA is happy for this guy 😅
