My daughter bought some parakeets here. The person waiting on us was very knowledgeable. This place though is never stocked and boxes everywhere. Could be a little cleaner. Service has always been good for the most part.

This store is awesome, there's so much to choose from and if it's not on the shelf they'll check on it for you.And you can buy good kitty litter at a good price! I'm going to upgrade my fish tank soon as they go on sale 😁

Ethan my pet groomer was very friendly and asked all the necessary questions, listened to my concerns and took absolutely care of my baby, he came out happy and beautiful. Thank you Ethan... I highly recommend!!!

Holly M was so wonderful with my dachshund puppy! He was so nervous about being groomed and she was gentle and so sweet with him. She also did a great job and even noticed one of his nails wasn’t clipped when I was checking out so she took him back to fix it. I’ll definitely be booking with her again.

Maybe it's the location (I think the nearest PetCo is like 4+ miles away, but they always seem to be low on items. The animals in the cages look extremely healthy, thinking of buying one maybe a lizard! Friendly staff!

Worst Petco Iv ever been to they had nothing in stock the cashier was clueless about anything couldn't even find here radio to ask for assistance they definitely need new knowledgable staff

I used to work here, and I can say only very few know what they are talking about and the rest lie. Plus the animals are not taken care of like they say. Avoid going here if u can please! For your sake and for ur pets safety. If u have no choose please seek out Teddie L., Cristian D., Jasmine M. Dog trainer, and Jasmin D.... if not go to La Brea petco... trust the people who are putting 5 stars are either being mislead or are not even real shoppers!!! Pictures below show parakeet habitat that wasn't cleaned for a week, dead Fish left out in the open, and spoiled vegetables that were left in the reptile habitats...

Love Petco. Has a great variety of stuff that your pet needs. The only reason. Why don't get 5 stars is because they took away the fish. They have fresh dogfood in their fridges, more expensive than human food, yikes. Lol. I guess if you can afford it go for it.I wish I could get a chinchilla. Or better yet a ferret.

Not a great place to shop. Petco prices are always high, but this one also runs out of a lot of things, and has only one checkout person most of the time. For some reason, most transactions seem to require a conversation... so you can easily end up in line for 20 minutes if there's a couple people in front of you. It is convenient having this store here.

Staff and groomers are great! We Always take our pup there. Just reviewing that they are understaffed..and the check out logistics are terrible, usually takes around 20 mins to pay (I have been there often lately)Please provide self checkout or self pick up (lockers)Update: this is the second time our dog gets a very bad razor burn that required a Vet visit and anti-inflammatory shot. Even though we provided context about the hyper-sensitivity of his sanitary area.

Interesting place. I work in a similar store in Finland, in fact we import some stuff from Petco. We have almost the same amount stuff but only 1/3 of the space. ;)Did not get any questions if I needed help -pretty bad.
