First time I had ever taken my pup inside the store. He had a blast. He went nuts smelling all the food, and other dogs. He even grabbed a new toy while we were walking around.

Ugh so two stars because they’re closest to me BUT they have like nothing in the reptile section and NO freezer for frozen mice etc. They never have anything I need. I don’t understand how they do dog training here but they don’t have room for heat lamps or reptile food. Aisles are small and cramped, ugh I literally just left the store and it’s just so irritating. This is exactly why I only go to the bigger per stores, a few miles down the road. Super inconvenient if I just want to go grab something quick, I’m just annoyed I guess. Tried taking my time in the aisle to see if I could find anything useful and the employee came in to start stocking, I don’t mind because it’s literally their job but I can’t shop with someone breathing down my neck.

Don't have different variety flavors of small bites food for my Yorkie(non chicken products)When I ask for Petco guy to order more he took the time to look for what I was asking him for and said 2 wks it will be now 3 wks later nothing. Another Petco guy infor me that it doesn't mean they would get it. It's crazy customers can't get no customer service nowadays SMH 😞

I purchased a pick up at a different store in error so I went to the Ladera store for advice. I WAITED In LINE for assistance in locating the item - I looked and couldn't find it. I went back to the line, WAITED and asked for assistance. The female cashier stated that her colleague was "helping a customer in the back" so I went to the back of the store and called, "excuse me;" didn't see anyone nor did I get a response. I went back to the front line and inquired again and the female clerk stated, "let me take her (a new customer), and I'll help you," as she typed something on the register.it's upsetting to think about this experience...A male clerk, seemingly irritated, came to the front to assist. While directing me to the item and cashing me out, his mood was distasteful and unwelcoming.

I love Petco. The team members are so friendly and welcoming and my baby girl Sunshine had an amazing time. I will be back soon with my baby. Make sure you guys sign up for the Vetco insurance. It is amazing for your pet. You can get their yearly immunizations, use it for doctor's visits, spa services, dog training classes. For only $19.00 a month you get $10 back which can be used on the services that are provided with Vetco, you get coupons for food and treats and etc. I am serious check them out you will not be disappointed at all. Look at my baby girl smiling and getting her immunizations.

The store is located in a shopping area with a large parking lot and a wide range of stores including a supermarket, drug store and places to get fast-ish food. The store itself has all the main pet supplies you’ll need, but does not have a wide variety within a product category. The staff can be helpful, but if you don’t need the item “now” many things are cheaper on Amazon or other online retailers.

Really bad customer service! There is a cashier wich name is Gabriel and he is always trying to sell the program Vitael Care for only 2 dollar a Month and at the time you pay, they charge you 30 dollar more extra! That's not nice....he is a lier! 😡 and they never give your money back..just send you to call customer service yourself.

Had a really bad experience for an in store pickup today. I received an email that the item I was picking up was ready for pickup. When I got to the store I was helped by a manager named Gabriel. I showed him the email that said my order was ready and he proceeded to say “Yes, I just saw your order in the front.” He then went to the section where all the pickup orders are, doesn’t find it, and then comes back and says “We don’t even have your order in the system.” He then proceeds to help out other people, while I wait for 15 minutes wondering if I’ll ever get my order. He eventually comes back and says that said item was out of stock. Like come on, if you accidentally gave my order away or didnt have the item in stock, why have me wait around for nothing?
