The owner is very nice and helpful. They have everything I need and glad there is a independently owned pet store in dtla. I own a reptile and glad he carries live food. It is cash only, but there is an atm in store.

pleased because I found everything for my comfortable expert and all the accessories I also bought crickets for my dear nephew's lizard and I also bought a cage for both of them for the puppy and the lizard happy because my nephew was pleased and what I liked is that if they don't have it, Paraíso pet but try to get you excellent good service😁👍

Best pet store around! Freud (sp?) was super helpful and was happy to order anything he didn't have in stock. They really take care of their pets here! My new regular spot.

Take change for parking because it is downtown. They have a good selection of reptile and fish supplies. And they greeted right away didn't just leave me wondering like a lost soul. Got some great advise from the staff member and will return soon for decor.

The best way to describe my experience thus far with this pet store is phenomenal. Froy is great and takes the valuable time to educate you on the pets or products. I can say is some of the best in detail explanation I've ever gotten in regards to pythons and other snakes in general. He took time to explain the pros and cons of buying an adult snake vs smaller non adult snakes and the overall dos and dont's. Simply put he's not all about being a salesman but I noticed he also has a passionate concern for the well being of the pets and that is to always be appreciated.

The owner was nice. He hooked it up with some dope quantity of food samples for my cats and dog. I remember going to there shop on 7th. I was bummed out when they closed. The. One day I was walking down los angeles st. between 6th and 5th , and i spotted them. They got a nice setup. Definitely check em out

The gentlemen inside wasn’t very helpful the few times I’ve come in, also it says on their website that they open at 10 am. I waited until 10:20 and no one ever showed up. Also I called in asking if they had a certain product , they said they would check and they never called me back. I had to call back the next day

Don't relay on out of towners for an honest review. I've lived in the area for over 20 years and go to this shop 3 times a month.I buy crickets for my breaded dragon. I've come to know the owner and find the place very affordable and efficient.I call before hand and my crickets are waiting on the counter. The place is clean, well stocked and fairly priced.Parking is a challenge. Customer service isn't over the top, fake or forced. Casual and straight to the point.They also sell snacks, soome travel size meds and mechelada mix....that's L.A for you.

The guy who works there is very nice and knows what he's talking about! He makes sure you understand how to properly take care of your pet and gives you tips when you buy. Loved it

Worst customer service ever. Went in there to buy a fish tank and fish so i casually walk to the back before i know it. Im surrounded by the store owner and son .they thought i was going to steal and blocked the Isles exits. I asked the owner a question and he rudely ignored me and told his son to take care of me. I was going to spend 200 dollars that day.
