Dr Kim Bhuta is the very best, there is no one like her that I would trust with my fur baby! I have been going to her for YEARS and wherever she goes we go! This clinic is also clean and offer dog teeth cleanings without being put to sleep, just like when we go to the Dentist! They are absolutely incredible and so blessed to have been told about it by Dr Kim!Back to Dr Bhuta lol She is an ANGEL and deserves the very best in life for all the great things she does to help dogs and us pet parents. God bless you Dr Bhuta!

I used to bring my dogs here and I’ve always trusted them. I should’ve known something was different when the dental prices change from around $700/1000 to $3000!They were very kind and let me bring in my dog who was having a pancreatitis attack which I was not aware of at the moment, I just knew she had been sick for two days. the vet gave me Flagyl for diarrhea, and anti-nausea medication. My dog began exhibiting symptoms of neurotoxin poisoning , when she started having twitches and drooling, and eventually her back legs wouldn’t work anymore. This was only after four doses of the medicine I was supposed to give her for 7 days. She began having bad seizures and initially I thought it was just her decline from the pancreatitis attack but then I reread the flagyl side effects in the very last sentence says it will cause seizures and some dogs and wobbling and it’s a Nuro toxin. As soon as I realized, I called the vet and rushed her in to have the antidote given to her. The vet denied it could be poisoning from the medicine. After a lengthy lecture of all the test I should be doing for my dog who was clearly dying at that time I begged her to please give her the antidote shot which was essentially Valium. My dog did much better that day. She was awake alert. She had one more decent day of life, and when I asked the doctor about when this medicine wears off, she said well then it would be something else and not the Flagyl, because that only lasts for eight hours in the body. Well after doing my own research it last 24 to 36 hours in the body so she was completely wrong! A simple search showed me that. She wouldn’t give me any follow up medication to help my dog and insisted that she have labs and tests to run even though they couldn’t show anything conclusive at this point when my dog was about to die. I called the next day and asked for suppositories or another shot, because my dog begin having seizures again as soon as the first shot wore off, they refused. Again, denying it was toxic exposure to this drug that She had prescribed for seven days for my 4 pound dog to take, who had kidney disease. I asked her if it was safe!!. And by the way, she charged me another $100 to see her, for her to lecture me about all the tests and labs I needed to get my dog when I just wanted her to have an antidote shot.. I had seen her less than a week before. My dog died yesterday morning.I have to say that this is NOT the same hospital that I used to come to. It’s a money pumping machine. I agree with other people who have left one star reviews.I don’t know why the doctor couldn’t believe that she was poisoned by this neurotoxin medicine when my dog exhibited all of the symptoms written on the labels warnings. And after my dog died, I began researching Flagyl and how it’s not supposed to be for veterinary use, but is used anyway. Many peoples dogs have died, and had seizures taking this medication. My dog did have this before and did perfectly fine, but it was only one dosage that they gave her, for some reason this doctor thought it was OK to give my little tiny dog a whole week worth of this toxic, horrible medicine. She NEVER told me to watch out for the effects that might happen to her, neither did the pharmacy that made the medicine for my dog. I am so so disappointed and so heartbroken because my dog could’ve survived the pancreatitis attack, but I’ll never know now. I do know for sure she was poisoned by the flagyl this doctor prescribed her. As her mother I should’ve known not to give it to her after she began drooling after the 2nd dose and twitching, but I kept giving it to her and now she’s dead. She wasn’t even 10 years old. I so wish I had taken her somewhere else, but this is where I have been coming for years & I thought the care and the Dr.’s were the same. Even though the doctor was very nice, I think she’s very ill informed to think this medicine which has poisoned & killed so many dogs is OK to give out like candy without expressing the dangers to our animals. I miss her so much. :( truly devastated

We have been customers for 15 years with 2 wheaten terriers. We have always received great care from the vets, the techs and front desk team. It is easy to schedule an appointment through their website or call. We had emergencies 2-3 times and they were on the ball to help our 4 paws. One was a life saver. Parking is on the lot and they newly remodeled, looks great!Other thing to note, Overland Veterinary Clinic offers on-site non anesthetic dental cleaning ($250) and it is the best cleaning job our wheaten had. I wish my teeth were that white:))

Unpleasant experience overall at this clinic. Skye especially made it her job to be rude to clients who were waiting on their diagnostic results. Not to mention, the results here are incredibly delayed. I was promised that results would come out within 3 days, only to call after 4 days, and to be told that the panel would take 7 days to complete... Which is completely different from what I was told at first when I walked in to meet with the vet. Nothing here is standardized or well-maintained. Employees here are rude. This was probably the worst experience I've had at a vet thus far, avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!If management is willing to address these concerns, I am willing to take down this review. Disappointment followed by disappointment - currently still do not have the diagnostic results after 4 days, when I was guaranteed I'd receive it within 3 days. Not reliable.

Overland is the best. Taking amazing care and compassion for our two labradoodles. Dr. Bhuta is THE best vet in Los Angeles.

Dr. Goetz is very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. She treated my Senior dog, examined x-rays, recommended a treatment plan and medication. The office staff members are consistently helpful!

Dr. Natasha is the best! Her 'bedside' manner is both warm and friendly and you can tell she really cares for and looks after the pets under her care. She always takes the time to explain what procedures she recommends and breaks down the results of any testing she does with a personal phone call. I will continue taking my cats to Dr. Natasha for years to come! Thanks Dr. Natasha! :)

Dr. Daniel Lee is very friendly, and his approach to our cat was excellent. He is calm and caring, which helped our cat stay much more relaxed. We had been to this clinic even before the renovation. After the renovation, we were impressed with the interior—clean and very functional. Besides Dr. Lee, the other staff members are also attentive and helpful.Thank you!

It's been a while since I've been here since moving from the area, but the fact that they're open every day was a good reason to establish my dog here. Our regular vet is closed on Sundays, so we lucked out with an opening this past Sunday which I was able to make online. Dr. Forsythe was great and advised us not only about our dog's ear infection, but his overall care as well. Friendly staff in a clean and welcoming office. Highly recommend.

We love Overland Vet Clinic! We've been clients seeing Dr. Forsythe for 3 years (starting in 2020) and decided to stay with them even after we moved across town, because he is always so thorough and attentive. Even though it's a fairly busy clinic, he always makes sure we understand our dogs' treatment and all of our questions are answered before our appointment is over - we never feel rushed. The vet techs and front desk staff are also great. They're always friendly and helpful, and they do their best to make our anxious dogs as comfortable as possible. We'll be clients for a long time!

Worst vet experience I've ever had. They do not care about your pet just your money. Vet doesn't make himself available to talk to owners. Decided to change my puppy's vaccine schedule which was clearly laid out without any discussion or explanation to help us understand why. I don't mind vets doing what they feel is right but a discussion with their owner so they understand what's going on is the bare minimum. Vet wouldn’t even come out to answer a simple question. Avoid at all costs!

My dog had a diarrhea with blood in her stool, so when the doctor came to the exam room, she barley spent 2 min examined my dog, which Definitely not a complete exam and I could tell she was in rush, then she sent her assistant back to the room with the estimate of charges! So she put a paper in front of me that this is going to be our plan to treat your dog!So basically they wanted to charge me 887 to just do a physical and poop exam and with some meds and 95 was for the incomplete exam!!So instead I went to another vet clinic and they only charged me 116 to do the poop test plus 2 medications that comes to 150 all together!! And for the exam I paid 100 for unlimited exam in 1 year and the doctor spent at least 20 min examined my dog, including a digital rental exam to see if there is any blood or puss in the rectum wall!!I was very happy with the other place and totally dissatisfied with overland pet clinic ! I feel like overland pet clinic only thinking about the money rather than giving you the right service!!!!

Last week I had a medical emergency with my cat. While I usually see Dr. Bhuta, it was the weekend and I saw the wonderful Dr. Forsythe. Though the visit entailed major surgery (that I had not anticipated), I was very comfortable that my cat was in the capable hands of Dr. Forsythe. Everyone at Overland was very nice and calming, and my kitty is doing great!**An added bonus is that Overland Vet Hospital is only 6 blocks from my house!

This is a hard review to share. We found Dr. Goetz and Overland Vet at the end of our cat's life. While some of the prices may have felt a bit high - the care and compassion that Dr. Goetz showed our family and our cat were worth it. All the staff was lovely but Dr. Goetz really went and beyond - she took the time she needed to take with us - we never felt rushed and if someone had to be there at the end with us and our dear cat, I am grateful that it was her.

I was previously with Modern Animal and went to Overland for a second opinion and had a much better experience. The doctor was detailed, helpful, present and spent a lot of time with me explaining her diagnosis. I switched vets immediately!

Dr. Kim Bhuta is the best vet that we've ever met. She saved our dog Rogue's life through an emergency surgery and has been taking tremendous care of her since. Rogue is healthy largely because of Dr. Kim and the Overland team!Lisa is an amazing technician who has a big heart for dogs and animals like Dr. Kim. She always treats Rogue sweetly although our dog is a sassy lady! Most if not all of the staff here shows they care for humans and their animals. Rogue and I will always come here while we live anywhere in and around Los Angeles!

Dr. Lee is incredible! He’s understanding, honest, and genuinely cares about my dog’s wellbeing. I enjoyed this so much as I had previously been scammed out of thousands of dollars from a previous veterinary clinic. Thank you Dr. Lee for caring for my dog!

I have been taking my dog to Dr. Bhuta at Overland for about 2 years now and wouldn't go anyplace else! She is kind, knowledgable and absolutely amazing with my dog and he adores her. From time to time, I've seen a couple of other vets when Dr. Bhuta was out and they were also all excellent. The front desk staff is also extremely helpful, efficient and friendly. I've tried a few vet clinics in LA and this is by far my favorite. Highly recommend!

It's always a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, organized and very helpful and Dr. Bhuta is the best! Our 15 year old dog laid down in the lobby on the way out as she didn't want to leave!

I love Dr Bhuta! She has seen both my pets and my sister's (at Carlsen's). I will say that overland may not be the least expensive that in town but I would choose them over just about anyone else. My experience has been that their knowledge and care provided is better and more cost-effective in the long run than going to someone who charges less. I say this after having spent money on diagnostics elsewhere, which in the long run would have possibly exacerbated my dogs eye condition thus causing damage and possible vision loss of vision.I mention the cost involved because we all care about the cost of care for us and for our fur babies. I would rather spend a little more upfront to get the best care possible, which in turn means better results rather than have things drag on and on. Having a vet tell me that they had to look up my dog's condition did not inspire confidence whereas Dr Bhuta was able to have an informed conversation with me immediately.

We’ve been going to OVC since they were located down the street at their very small location! We love Dr. Swartz and miss him terribly as he has retired. Dr. Forsythe has stepped in with our third Lab and we’re very satisfied. Everyone at the front desk and in the back are very kind and thorough. Thank you for all you do.

Dr Forsythe saved my cat’s life 3 times. 3 bouts of pancreatitis and each time the Dr made room for us to spend the day there for fluids and a watchful eye. I’ve actually been coming here for years but this was the epitome of a good, caring vet, in my opinion. As with almost any vet, the bill is an eye opener. 🤷🏼♀️

What a great vet. Love having these kind, honest folks as an alternative to VCA. They care about our pets and structure the care to avoid unnecessary costs and procedures, unlike VCA. We've seen Dr Forsythe and Dr Lee, both excellent.

To Dr. Flanagan and the entire "team Jasper" from our visit yesterday:Thank you so very much for your patience and accommodations for Jasper's annual visit yesterday. When the pandemic began, I thought for sure that this would all be over when this January rolled around and Jasper needed his physical. I'm not very religious, but what's the phrase? You make plans and God laughs? So that happened!Dr. Flanagan, you're just the best. Thank you for always returning my calls, and making sure Jasper's anti-anxiety meds dose would work for his solo visit. To you and the entire lady team yesterday, thank you all for making sure that only females worked with him. This truly makes such a difference. I know he was stressed while inside, but he was a happy little boy as soon as he was back in the car. After years of practicing, "good things happen when you visit here, you won't die", he can easily recover after a stressful visit inside by himself, and I saw that firsthand yesterday. This is light years ahead of where he was emotionally when we adopted him four years ago (he would previously hide in a corner and tremble, with a long recovery time). While he'll probably never *love* his vet visits, your compassion and kindness go a thousand miles for him, and I applaud you all.Keep up the incredible work, and I can't wait to be back inside to visit you all. Thank you so very much, again :-)

Have been coming here for years and am always pleased with their services. I recently had my sweet but slightly anxious and excitable dog checked out by Dr. Daniel Lee and he was fantastic! He did such a good job helping my dog feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the exam. He is helping us to manage a few different issues including weight and severe anxiety during grooming. He is very thorough and explains everything with kindness and diligence to help you find the best solutions for your pet. The technicians and front desk staff are also all kind, efficient and knowledgeable. Great clinic!
