I have only bought through live sales on Facebook but it’s always great prices, awesome looking corals and great customer service. When I received my corals in the mail the packaging was the best I’ve seen yet, I’m in a colder climate and the water was still warm it was packed so well. Highly recommended buying from them!

Large selection helpful staff they have a very old eel who seems to be a local celebrity i deep sea dive once in Tahiti and I can tell the difference between old and young this guy is a senior citizen

This is honestly the best place in town for aquarist. They have shipment if new coral selections weekly, you can find lots of rare species at this facility.. Kris is the owner of this place and he is great at having his team assist you with questions and pricing. I bought my 175g red sea reefer with him and I love it so much.

Excellent staff and selection. Staff is patient and knowledgeable. Flew in a couple months ago and researched this place ahead of time and it is a must stop. If was perfectly located next to my car rental return. I let staff know what I was doing, and owner took the time making sure he boxed everything up for me, as I took some corals on carry-on with me. He even slapped a "Live Animals" sticker on box and made the LAX security a breeze. Got these awesome zoos (some sleeping in this pic) and mushies that get 1.5 across 2.5 months later! Thanks guys!

My family and I drove 2hrs to come here and I am beyond please. I received so much knowledge for the best price FREE. The establishment was so clean and the fish seemed to be healthy and thriving. I was not sold thing for the betterment of the business I was sold things for the betterment of my tank. Customer service was good and to ME the price was good. He even took the time to show us how to set up the Live Rock. Super experience and will make my way back in the future.

Very cool place if you're looking to buy fish and high-end aquarium supplies, especially salt water tanks. I only needed some wood and rocks to make a basking log for my turtle, but the staff was super nice and let me rummage through their boxes for longer than I probably should've 😅 But I actually found what I needed and didn't have to pay very much either! Thanks a lot LAX Aquarium! I had a weird need and actually got what I was looking for!

You lost a loyal customer today. Personally I would never have brought the fish to you had I not trusted you discussing this several times in passing that I wanted to save the fish before it overgrown my tank. I should have kept it. I was shocked to hear you had heard nothing about it despite providing my name and phone number when I had dropped off the box fish that was in stellar health. I was expecting to hear something but never even a text message until I stopping by today to find out it had died. You have many options there to separate the fish from being bit to death by another but no one choose to do anything. Silly to think this is worth mentioning but it was our pet that my wife and I thought you could give a better home but instead it was just like any other. Maybe if I had taken the store credit at the time of drop off someone would have incentive to save it but I did not trusting you and wanting to talk with you first. Truly disappointing.

LAX Aquarium built my RedSea Reefer 350 almost 2 years ago. I have literally had 0 issues since the build. If you are in the market for a new build! This is the only place in SoCal that will put a whole custom system together, come set it up and will maintain it for you.Also, this is where I get the majority of my corals. Kris's corals are some of the most healthy, vibrant and all around beautiful specimens in Los Angeles. LAX Aquarium always has the best prices in the coral market. Since all the corals in the U.S. come through LAX airport, Kris is able to cherry pick the nicest pieces before being distributed to the rest of the nation. I suggest you tune into the Facebook Lives. This is where you can stretch your dollar. Pay online then, pick up in-store. So you only pay taxes. No need to pay the shipping. Lots.of.great corral and saltwater tanks. The big green eel was amazing (not for sale) park in the back it's a little tricky hopefully you have navigation to get you there. If you are into aquariums it's a great stop to make before you go pick up someone at the airport.

We’ve had good experiences here and been a customer for a couple years… they’ve helped us out a lot with our freshwater tank and the kids enjoy visiting (it’s a cool store). It was very difficult to get help from workers no one would acknowledge you even when you walk in no one says anything they they will glance at you then walk away and this has been multiple times this happened i still made multiple purchases but service sucks products are good here overall

DO NOT shop here!! Bought a doctor fish here yesterday. Was dead 30 mins later when I got home. Found out later the fish had arrived the day before they sold it to me which, of course, put tremendous stress on the fish. Called the store and they said they’d offer me store credit if I brought the fish back in. Drove an hour to do so and Kris denied to do anything about it and was super rude in the process saying “I don’t care if you shop here anymore”. Don’t support people like this, it’s a shame to a beautiful hobby.

Great place to find coral. The people were nice and helpful. Lots to pick from. They have these glasses that you can look at all the fish with. Make sure you wash your hands though.

Don't miss this LFS (local fish store). Amazing club style store, with attention to cleanliness. Staff is fairly knowledgeable, but a lot of the time, you have to ask the right person to get the correct answer.

I drove from Ventura County to pick up some corals and I find that one of the corals was dying and I decided not to want it or to have it changed for another one, the supervisor could not make a decision and the owner was not there just told me that They gave credit to the store. I don't want credit if I have fish shops near my house. I bought it on Cyber ​​Monday. This bothers me a lot.

EXCELLENT for Saltwater! Tons of frags and saltwater fish priced reasonably! It’s way smaller than what I remember. So I came in for Freshwater fish and the selection was dismal. They had a very small section with very poor selections. If you’re looking for live plants and drift wood with beautiful freshwater fish this is not the spot.
