We took our dog here to get groomed. He is a Samoyed and their fur can’t be cut or trimmed so it’s awesome that he always comes out looking amazing. We absolutely love the affordable prices and that they require vaccination records before they groom your dog or board them.

Tried to give this place a chance but will no longer be bringing my dog here.There's been multiple times where I've requested that my dog be fed during his daycare stay there and they've forgotten more than once. We only find out later because my dog has a tendency to eat fast and then throw up all his food if he hasn't been fed at his appropriate times. This has happened three times right after bringing him home from K9.If they can't accommodate this request that's fine, I can adjust his feeding schedule but don't lie and say you can or you did feed him and then call me back and say you did in fact not feed him.My last straw was the last time I went to pick him up and they did NOT put on his leash properly and he almost ran out the door. With no help from staff even through they looked embarrassed I was able to properly leash him. The staff doesn't care, are rude and overpriced. Don't come here

My dog had his teeth cleaned but it wasn't as thorough as I hoped it would be. The outside surfaces of his teeth look clean but the chewing surfaces on his molars still have a lot of calculus that hasn't been removed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not super excited about having to put my dog under general anesthesia every time he needs his teeth cleaned but I think this is probably why people say non anesthesia cleanings won't cut it. Maybe this would be okay for maintenance cleanings but it doesn't look like it can replace cleanings done under the care of a vet.

We took both of our pups in for a full groom and had a great experience with K9 Loft. Bonus points that their staff were friendly and helped squeeze in our second dog for a last-minute grooming. The groomer (Myra) did a fantastic job! We'll definitely be returning.

First time in and after a friendly and great experience with the staff prior, I was disappointed once I picked up my golden retriever from grooming. It looks like they tried shaving in parts and then cutting in others, making her coat uneven and obvious the person had no idea what they were doing. They also cut back all her flares, after requesting not too, and completely missed trimming around a paw. Lastly, added on the deshedding package and when we got home I had to brush her to remove a ton of undercoat that wasn’t even touched.Sadly, won’t recommend them for grooming.

We were going to give K9 Loft one more try for a grooming but we were unfortunately called by them the day of the appointment to be told it needed to be cancelled. The reason was, "we don't actually schedule full grooming that late." The appointment was at 3pm for an 11lb dog. The person on the phone went on that the groomers can't start that late. I understand if that's the case, but then the appointment should not have been scheduled in the first place. Being told "I have no idea how it was scheduled in the first place" after its been on the books for a week rubs me the wrong way. They also left me two messages this past week confirming the 3pm appointment and then asking if it was possible to come in earlier at noon or 1pm but didn't mention anything about the appointment needing to be canceled.This was already the last chance we were giving K9 Lofts after many of the haircuts we've received here have been below average at best. After most appointments we've had to trim missed spots and stray hairs. One time it was so bad we had to send him back in because his cut was so choppy. That should have been our last appointment but they are located so close to us I wanted to give them another chance. I'm never expecting it to be perfect but it's been very sub par compared to other places we've gone in the past.

This place is terrible! Rude staff, they don’t care about the animals. They leave boarded dogs alone for 2 hours between shifts in the cages. And not ashamed to say this!!They never advised me that they are closing earlier on Saturday, called 10 min before closing and refused to help. When I was begging to not leave my dog alone because he has a bad separation anxiety, to give me 30 min to pick him up, Edward and Elsa told me ‘nothing we can do, we need to leave, someone will come in 2 hours’. Really K9 Loft??? Do you have hearts?? Leaving dog with anxiety alone with no supervision, without advising new customer ahead of time?? Also Edward told me ‘you can complain to a manager on Monday morning, I don’t care’ and hung up on me..I’m writing this review knowing that my baby is crying and barking alone right now in a new place, I know how much he is suffering now.. I pray he will survive through this.. if I could imagine they would leave my anxious doggie alone, I would never set my foot into this place.. you are not humans!!!If you love your pet STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!

I had a terrible experience with K9 Loft! I started to bring my puppy to the daycare so she could get used to it. The day I actually had to leave her there for a few hours because of work K9Loft’s staff placed her in their boarding zone/kennel instead of the play zone. I figured it out because I had to call them asking why I can’t see my dog on the web camera. They told me that she’s 6 months old and according to their rules she can’t stay in the play area since she’s not spayed.I’m not questioning the rules BUT the day before that they took her in without any questions. Also, they had to tell me about it while checking in because I wasn’t OK with her being isolated for a few hours (the guy on the phone actually lied to me saying that they told me about it!!)She doesn’t stay home alone yet and that’s the reason I brought her to the daycare. I had to leave work earlier to pick her up as soon as possible and she was absolutely terrified and very stressed out when I picked her up!Thank you K9Loft for an “amazing” opportunity to start separation anxiety issues in my puppy!

I came to k9 loft for the first time just recently. They did a full groom with flea shampoo. They were absolutely amazing!!!! Every staff member was professional and very helpful. The groomer took time to talk to me and meet my doggo. Great selection of dog products all around. I'm glad I found this place.

So angry with what happend to Milo,When i dropped Milo in K9-LOFT for grooming at 12:30 pm , they told me it will take about 3 hours, but i didn't get any call until 5 pm, so i called them and they told me he will be ready in 10 minutes,After picking him up, when we arrive home, i just realized he doesn't put his hand on the ground and keeps it up, he seems to be in pain now,I'm not sure, but i think they did somting wrong with him and thats why they kept him for so longer than what they told me,They have reasonable price and friendly staffMilo is clean and he smells good after grooming,But, I will never take my baby back there.

We have our regular spot for pet supplies nearby, but every time we've been to K9 Loft over the past 10 years, we've had friendly, helpful service. Staff seem to really care about our dogs - we used their boarding and doggie day care for our older dog who couldn't travel with us, and she was happy as a clam. It was also nice to be able to see her on the cameras from Florida!Over the years, all three of our dogs have visited for the non-anesthetic teeth cleaning, and the care and quality of the cleanings has been awesome. We absolutely love that K9 provides this service and that they have been successful in working with our pups' challenging temperaments. Sparkly teeth all around!

Took 6 hours to groom, had to call twice after 3 hours for an update. Said this is bc it was her first time but feels more neglectful on the part of the team when the estimate was 3 hours.

Staff are really friendly, prices are decent. Vanessa the groomer is awesome! In the past when I make grooming appointments they take down the wrong date which can cause confusion but now that they have the email confirmation for grooming appointments it’s been much better!

I am not a new customer, I have been bringing my dog here for boarding and grooming for some time now. Before this past visit, I felt this place was a bit expensive but my dog seemed happy after boarding. I've always felt their staff were a unprofessional in their customer service; once I called to make an appointment for boarding and the representative was incredibly rude and had no idea what their services were or how their system to book the appointments worked, I ended up just calling back the day after to book with someone else.I just picked up my dog from his boarding and this visit was so horrible and unreasonably expensive that I will never use K9 LOFT again. I called to make an appointment for a one night. When I went to drop off my dog for our appointment, I found out they booked for 12 nights! Got that changed back to one night. I confirmed that I asked for a regular shampoo, and the representative told me they would call me when my dog was ready from his bath; they never called. When I picked up my dog, he was so desperate to get out of there. They don't know if he's been fed for today or not. My receipt claims they did a bath and brush. He does not seem clean at all, his paws are still dirty, he doesn't look brushed, his ears are dirty, and he smells like wet dog. And I paid nearly $200 for a "one night stay and a regular wash."But what makes this past visit an overall bad experience is that my dog seems totally not himself. He seems sad and just wants to sleep. Like I said, boarding visits aren't new to him, he's been to K9 multiple times and he's been to other places before K9.I do not recommend this place, and I will never use their services again.

Terrible choppy haircut! Groomer was late, it seems my dog’s grooming was rushed and they didn’t finish - blaming the dogs anxiety. They still had the nerve to charge almost the full price.Perhaps if the groomer was professional, was not late and took her time my service would have been complete. High expectations, poor results.

Our dog has gotten kennel cough 3 times, Oral papillomatosis, and come home with bite and scratch scabs all over his body since going to daycare here. Apparently, they do not screen the dogs coming in, nor do they check if they are doing or felling well, or if vaccinations are complete and up-to-date. Plus, they don’t seem to watch the dogs through the day that well, just leave it up to the webcams for you to do it yourself I suppose? We’re done sending our pups here, too much added stress and expense to us…I would avoid the daycare and boarding.

I am car free in LA so the pick up and drop off for boarding is such an amazing service. My dog always comes home happy, healthy and I love the pics they send of him enjoying his "holiday" with other dogs during the day. Highly recommend.

Avoid this location rude staff. When you walk in all you hear is staff screaming at dog's. I wouldn't trust them with my boy's or my girl. I used there grooming service 1s mediocre job. They now claim i made 2 appointments for my pet's and charged me $60.00 they have no card on file so these idiots better get these false claims resolved.

I like the K9 Loft vibe but do not love the K9 Loft pricing. It's extremely overpriced in my opinion, a leash will go for double than it would at any other pet store or even target. I have a greyhound and they require martingale collars, they don't carry it.. I wanna love this place but everyone I go in I can't find anything affordable or top useful. I'm not sure how grooming and dog sitting is, but I'm sure I can't afford it lol.

Very accommodating and great customer service! My big rescue dog cannot be caged and doesn't like little dogs. They took him in and groomed him while I waited...I think I will make this a monthly thing! He smells way better than he does with a home bath.

they treat my senior dog beautifully - i have always had excellent treatment at K9 Loft. never a problem and always fantastic attitudes from the staff. I've gone other places for grooming and they've hurt my dog, not so here. we give it 5 paws up!

A little pricey but good hours. Great for early drop off. They send pictures during the day sometimes too, which can be a nice surprise. Employees are nice and the store is clean. My dog is always so excited to go.

My cat Billy had gotten horrible matted fur patches. I'm a good parent, but we had just moved, and the regular brushing schedule had gotten away from me. I was worried that it would be traumatic for him. First, that the place was dog centric, and they wouldn't have experience with cats; he's 14 and never been bathed. He's hardly ever been out of the house. I didn't have much choice though, because my other cat, Rupert, had an abscess, and needed to see the vet next door at Mohawk Alley Animal Hospital. The groomer came out and introduced himself (I forget his name), assured me that he knew cats, and asked if the standard shampoo would do. It was then I realized that Billy would have to be given a bath as well, and figured I didn't have a choice but to put him through this process. He suggested a lion cut, leaving a long mane around his head, and longer on his legs and a puff on the end of his tail.When I got him home, he seemed really happy. It looked great, and he was super affectionate and slept under the covers, stretched out against me for a while that night. He loves it! Any trauma was far outweighed by the benefit. I'm definitely doing it again next year at the beginning of the summer, and am considering doing it for Rupert too.

Avoid K9Loft AT ALL COSTS. The only pic and update I received was a pic of my dog being kept in a supply closet the actually sent me a picture of my dog laying on dirty mop heads. They refused to discount or refund me. Alert all other animal hospitals.

I've come to K-9 Loft a couple times now for my 3 year old half Husky and Half Malamute and they always do a great job even with a Bath and Brush! I won't go anywhere else!

I would give this place 5 stars BUT EH.... my 5 year old dog Liam Wesley got his first groom here 5 years ago and he’s been coming every month for 5 years and they still act like im a new walk-in. The same Asian Lady cuts his fur. I don’t remember her name because she leaves no standing impression just that she does a DECENT job.... Robert use to cut Liams fur for the first 2 years and we absolutely LOVED HIM he remembered us, Liam liked him and he remembered certain details about Liam and what we wanted done which was 5 stars exceptional service in my book. Not sure what happened to Robert. ANYWAY the staff is curtious but i dont feel a connection there. Ive seriously considered going somewhere else. They CLEARLY wouldn’t even notice us or our business gone somewhere else. They sometimes log my purchases as i have a long standing profile but not always. So you wouldn’t know that i also purchase alot of dog food and treats. I Work in the luxury retail and have an understanding of basic service and exceptional service. When you’re dealing with peoples pets i feel you need to go above and beyond and make pet owners, the ones paying you, feel comfortable, at ease and appreciated to ensure loyal patronage, K9 loft just wants your money. A couple years ago They cut my others dogs Declaw off. The paid the vet bill but No ones asked hows hes doing or ever checked in. Anyway, My 5 loyal years of mediocre service and some bad encounters with staff might be the end of my at K9 loft....

The owner himself is extremely unprofessional. I don't think he realizes he's in the business of getting both negative and positive feedback and finds it ok to argue with customers. Look at most of the reviews of dog abuse or animals dying in their boarding. Spend your money and your time elsewhere. Photos posted are where the owner finds it acceptable to harass me after I asked in the first initial message not to be contacted, he seemed to cop an attitude that I was replying back and being "vulgar" because he doesn't know how to shut up and stop contacting clients. Worse place for my dog, I took my dog there for a hair cut. first time and looks like the person who cut my dog's hair have no experience (none) my dog looks really bad with that hair cut. Better say I can't cut your dog's hair. I am taking 1 start.

I was told that their employees are there to look after the dogs to make sure they aren't doing anything aggressive or whatnot. Later I find out that none of them have ever been trained on how to handle pets.So now every-time I happen to take my dog to this location they instantly isolate him into a cage. This place doesn't really seem to have people who care for animals, they are just here to make sure they stay alive.

I purchased food from this location. When I got to the bag as I buy two at once to vary my dogs choices as he becomes finicky after a month on a flavor any way. the second bag said single source protein and which was to be red meat only. I served him a cup at breakfast and well my boy had an allergic reaction. Stopped giving him the food and got his reaction under control. I then noticed there was pork extracts in the ingredients by their Biochemical name which my boy is allergic time pork, even when I cook Bacon or sausage at home. Took it back and it was five days over the return policy and one cup was served out it, they wouldn't accept the return nor did they have the purchase on file. Guess I'm going to another pet store that carries the brand that is generally safe for my dog. Watch out and keep all receipts even the digitals as they don't keep good customer records.
