Didn’t go in for the longest time thinking it was going to be bougie and maybe a fad, but it’s been a game-changer for my dog w chronic pancreatitis. Food, treats & supplements here all work. Dog’s health is excellent now and he loves his food (Metabolic Support) after 2 yrs when he used to go off food constantly. The people at the Spring Street pantry are super special too. Ian and Misty are knowledgeable, tireless sources who love our pets and take great care of everyone

They have the best all natural snack for a reasonable price, my little does a good job flossing with toys but my bigger one does not care for it which leads to her having more dental work and more soreness for recovery time. THAT'S why these snacks are awesome, they fit exactly what the Vet says they should be having. I bought the food, but I wish they came in better packaging, other than that my dogs LOVE everything!!

Best dog food chain in LA. Food quality and variety is incredible. The staff at this location are always super helpful. They make it easy to pop in, grab what you need and get out quickly, which is perfect for this downtown location.

JFFD's is wonderful. The service is always courteous & quick! I love that they offer curbside pick up, especially since its downtown LA, makes it easy & swift when picking up my orders. I have two pups, but one of my dogs used to give me a REALLY difficult time eating kibble, but once I transitioned him over to JFFD's (over a year ago) I haven't had any issues with him eating. If anything, breakfast/dinner excite him. Also, his coat is even shinier & softer. I would highly recommend them.

Ian, who runs this JFFD location, has saved me and my dog more than once when our online auto-ship orders didn't come through as planned. He is an absolute delight to speak with, and jumped through hoops tracking down food from other locations to make sure my dog got her prescription diet in time.The food itself is incredible quality as well. My dog severe liver issues which almost killed her at one point, but through meds and this diet she has recovered to my vet's complete surprise. I tried switching to Royal Canin hepatic diet at one point to save some money, and my dog's liver value worsened. Switched back to JFFD, and they got better again. Will always be a customer of this brand as I see the difference it makes in my dog.I just wish the company overall would get their supply chain issues sorted out because they've been having shortages for months and months.

The sales lady was great well informed on all the products that were available for our Yorkie. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity. The dog hasn't had any complaints after 1 feeding either and I don't think he ll have any

I believe in feeding my Alice (my dog) the best. She is a part of my family, and after reading all the ingredients that dog food has, spending the money to buy her the food here has been worth it. She is healthy, her coat is beautiful and soft, and the best of all, she loves her special food... From rice with chicken, to beef and potatoes... And can't forget the treats... This place treats Alice as one of the family. Oh and did I forget! They have curve side pick-up!

I've been getting the cat food here for a couple years, (the store, in general) and since the pandemic, I've been getting deliveries and did one pick up with the DTLA location. Every time on the phone or in person they were so nice, clear, efficient and helpful! Just set up a recurring order (finally, why did I wait so long?! haha) and the woman on the phone was so nice and it was a breeze. I felt safe going here in person, when I did, and they have a really easy park/drop-off type area right in front of the store so you don't have to deal with (impossible) parking in DTLA or sketchy people. Thanks JFFD! (And Cats!)

I have fees JFFD food to my two dogs for years. Lately, JFFD has experienced unexplained supply issues. For weeks, I've had a hard time finding food at either Petco or at the boutique stores. Each time I asked, JFFD staff offered no explanation for this sudden drop in supply. Very disappointed.

Very good product. But can''t keep up with demand, so you can't actually buy any food. Website is vague, and telephone customer service is a complete joke (on hold for 26 minutes and counting). One of those sad situations where a very good product is happered by incompetent management.

I buy my dog food from here and they just recently have a cooking class to learn how to cook for your fur babies.Today Saturday June 24th they had a cooking class which was nice because it was my birthday and had some good eats, even tried the dog food. It was a bit bland for my taste but nothing Sarachia couldn't help with. I am sure my puppy does not mind bland and it is healthy for him studies at CalPolly Pomona prove it.
