I come here for chicken feed they love the cracked corn but wouldn't lay for the longest time John helped me make sure I get some laying pellets( didn't have the mash sold out too popular) and that mixed with corn got them started and the workers advice of giving them extra water each day helped my eggs double per week I'm not saying it'll be that great for you bit I'm saying they work great for me and I like looking at the fish and reptiles too if I start another coop of small birds I'm gonna source them here

I like the employees that work here, they're kind and they know a lot about the animals they sell as well as what you need to take care of one. In addition, I have been a customer for many years and I love buying pet chickens here.. I've noticed that they also sell pet supplies for reptiles and stuff like that.

This store takes such bad care of their animals, all their chickens are stuffed up in just a few cages, and none of the animals are happy. The chickens have visibly plucked out feathers, which they do when they are stressed and not properly taken care of, and they shove too many chickens into such small spaces. Also, all of their reviews seem fake. Definitely will not be supporting them.

They like to keep puppies at the front window in a tiny enclosure it’s like 5ft x 3ft. Outrageously small cages for the bunnies and chickens too. I will be reporting them to animal control and the city .

Dead birds and animals didn’t even have food in their cages don’t support this business I told the staff about the dead bird and they just ignored me and helped another costumer

I love their animal care except for the hamsters and rats they have all the way in the back. Those poor things suffer. But the birds are well taken care of, well better than most places. Some of their prices are a total steal compared to Elias petshop.

This place is great. One of the cheapest, maybe the single cheapest, place to get chicken and bird feed in South LA. It's quieter now, because of the Newcastle quarantine, but there's a bunch of small parrots, rabbits, and other pets. And they've started selling some cute chicken coops.

Come here for all your chicken and bird feed. It's a great place to stop by with your kids . They have different kinds of chickens to see , a few parrots, bunnies, fishes and reptiles. I own several animals so this is definitely a one stop shop.

I love this pet shop, been coming here for years and always find the lowest prices on feeds and pet supplies. Friendly staff, especially the girl and the guy with the mustache. Love it, keep up the great prices.

Is small decent prices however lack customer service. I asked on of them for the item I needed and he ignored me . I had to go to the guy in cashier and ask him again for the item.

This place is bad with reptiles and aquatic turtles first of and most important boas and pythons cannot be together because they're bacteria's tell the opposite animal also the other red tail boa is in the habitat that's too small for it. your turtles don't have a place to bask and get UVB. Also your habitats are growing mold most of them are

I have patronized John's Feed since the early 90's when they had roller pigeons. Now I raise Chickens...they are still relevant. KUDOS FROM THE WESTSIDE!!!!
