My experience visiting this store was so pleasant and informative. I was just looking for dog food for my Frenchie Trevor. The service was good and didn’t feel all rushed or waiting to check out. It also smelled so good.

I want to shout out the person that helped me on 2/27 at around 1pm at the store. I came in completely distressed after my cat had spent 2 nights in the ER and was looking to get a variety of wet food to make sure she would eat when she came home. He helped me pick out brands that had organic natural ingredients and even thought to suggest a steak can to help her since she had a lot of blood work done. I mentioned that she was eating dry food when she was in the ER, and he gifted me a sample of a brand that they were advertising to let my cat try out before buying the actual bag. I just thought the whole interaction was so kind and he went above and beyond. I’m sad I didn’t catch his name and I want to say I actually came back the next day to buy the dry food bag he suggested because my cat loved the sample he gifted me. Thank you. You helped me on a very difficult day and me and my cat really appreciate you.

I have a Pomeranian who is groomed frequently and gets very regular standard haircuts every other month - thought I’d try this place bc it’s a convenient location. This is by far the most absurd and horrible haircut I’ve ever experienced- the groomer Sara chopped off his entire mane in front his has no hair on his face (mind you I showed 4 photos of normal haircuts he’s gotten) and she bizarrely left the ears crazy long and did not cut them at all. This is totally crazy I’m literally unsure how it could even happen. The manager gave me a discount on the cut and was apologetic but please do not take your long haired dogs to this groomer. The staff is otherwise friendly it’s probably fine for a basic bath and nail trim but I’m so perplexed at what has happened here - before is long after is short (lol)

I brought my dog here for his first grooming since I’ve rescued him, and was slightly nervous because he tends to be quite fearful around new places/people.He handled it really well, and came out looking (and smelling) great. Eric the groomer was fantastic and accommodating, and my dog was ready for pick up almost exactly when they told me he would be.

My first time to bring my dog at healthy spot, sarah was the groomer and i could honestly say that she did a good job with Brutus, my baby always gets anxious, most of the time yells, whines and cries if a stranger pets him, but i think Brutus likes sarah she was really good with handling my baby Brutus. I would definitely recommend her to my dog mom friends. Healthy Spot staff on this branch was all friendly and very professional. I will support this store and will promote it with my family and friends.

All the staff at this store are so so wonderful. Highly professional and so focussed on fantastic customer service. I must take the time to highly recommend Cleo as a groomer. Our dog is incredibly nervous and doesn't do well with grooming. But Cleo has managed to make her feel comfy and safe and in more recent visits our dog even wags her tail when she sees Cleo. Her work is truly excellent and she is so kind and nurturing we feel so happy leaving our dog in Cleo's capable hands. If you're looking for a brilliant groomer who really can whisper to dogs this is the woman.

The staff here are extremely friendly and you can tell they love doing their job. The environment is very positive and warm welcoming once you step foot inside. I really want to thank Cleo who groomed my dog and left him very soft and clean. If your dog needs proper grooming I highly recommend this spot. :)

Took my dog in today to get a grooming. He was super overdue on his nail trim and I was worried about him behaving so that they could trim them properly. — Im happy to say that Abraham is the one who helped me and him and his team did an amazing job cleaning up my lil guy and getting his nails back to a proper length. Jones feels like a new dog! I am so grateful for their friendliness towards me as a customer, and the care and playfulness with my dog. Thank you so much Healthy Spot Silverlake grooming squad!!

The grooming here is so great. Easy to book and coordinate and all the groomers and works are so good with animals. It was our pups very first groomer experience, and they took things really slow so she wouldn’t have a bad experience. She looks so fluffy and clean and we lived the little bandana. Cleo was her groomer and we’ll be back - her gentle demeanor and care we so appreciated!

Theresa and the whole grooming team at this location were so great to work with. They fit me in same day and were so sweet to both of my dogs, treating them with care, compassion, and respect. They even alerted me to an ear infection in one of my dogs that needed treatment right away. They did a wonderful job and we had a very positive experience. They also finished early! Wonderful 🙏

Love taking my dog here for grooming! All of the employees are true dog lovers, and my dog is treated like a king here. We usually get a mud bath which helps with shedding - and it makes such a difference! This last time, our groomer Cleo went a step beyond by giving us a handwritten card with our dog's picture inside (of him in a towel - so cute!). What a nice, personal touch! And thanks Cleo for taking such good care of our pup.

DO NOT GET YOUR BABIES GROOMED AT THIS LOCATION!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!Extremely upset as my baby was hurt during grooming. She had several abrasions and had to be taken to the vet as she was experiencing a fever and possible infection is left without treatment. I’ve reached out multiple time to the grooming manager and nothing has been resolved. Things seem to be “under investigation” for quite some time I can’t seem to get an update. As a Cosmetologist I understand accidents happen with the clippers, that’s out of our control but if my baby was nicked during her haircut someone should have notified me! That way I could have treated her instead of keeping it from me. Also, they want to tell me that if she was indeed hurt while in their care they have cameras but if baby was nicked by the clippers I really doubt a camera placed on the wall can see this. I demand answers and a resolution ASAP! I’ve been beyond patient approaching this situation. It’s very upsetting and I expect much more from Healthyspot this isn’t any $40 neighborhood grooming; I bring my baby here thinking she would be in better hands but was terribly mistaken. Healthyspot and it’s employees will not take accountability and seem to unbothered by this incident. I would NOT recommend anyone taking their pups here for grooming!!

Amazing! We just moved to LA and are so happy to have found this place! We came here because they had the raw food options for our frenchie, and today we took her for a spa treatment. They did an amazing job! I was concerned about the nail trimming part, because she acts terribly and it’s hard to get them done. They were able to do it and did an awesome job! I will definitely be bringing her back. Thank you Leonardo!!

I've been visiting this particular location of Healthy Spot for years, I buy items here and get my dog groomed here. Over the last few years the quality of grooming and of stock has slowly declined. Good groomers have all left (Renee was fantastic) and last weekend my dog had their worst groom yet.

Our dog Chloe can be very particular or fussy when being groomed. But Chalton does such an excellent job, every time! He's great with the direction we give him and also has an eye for detail to go along with a very pleasant demeanor! I would highly recommend Chalton for anyone looking for a superior grooming experience for their doggie 🐕💛

I shop here mainly for my dogs' freeze dried green tripe & CBD oil. They have a decent selection of dog & cat food ( kibble, wet, and raw), treats, accessories, and grooming. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Its located in the shopping center along with Wells Fargo, Wong's Wok, CVS, 365. The best time to stop by is early in the morning because parking is much more accessible... you don't want to get caught up in the mess that happens later in the day, especially on weekends.

This 5 star review is for Omar. We love coming to Healthy Spot and have been frequenting the DTLA location for several years since we first moved here. Omar has been Mochi's groomer the entire time there and would always take the time to talk with us about how Mochi did (he's not the easiest dog to groom and always causes trouble) and also provide tips on how to calm him down the next time. We were sad to hear that he moved locations from DTLA to Silverlake, but we decided Omar can't escape us, so we now just come to the Silverlake location for Mochi's grooming! Thank you Omar for taking such good care of Mochi, he obviously hates haircuts but he's always excited to see you! I think that shows how much time and care he puts into his work.

I take my 2 dogs to be groomed once a month. Roxy does a great job on my dogs they smell clean look good . my dogs are very high energy and I never had a problem ,my dogs are very happy to get washed up at healthy spot great service.

My partner and I originally were pretty excited to go into this place. We fully support natural and raw diets for animals, because thats how we eat ourselves and we want our dogs to have the same. So after going into this shop a lot more than a couple times, heres what we think:3 stars for the effort. The effort of the company wanting to introduce new ideas to society and supporting a healthier life and globe. Also for the effort of the employees that care as much as they do to educate society on our 20th century ideas on the Pedigree and Friskies brands and why its completely not good for dogs and cats.However, that being said, every time we go in there, it feels as though were put on a stand like were in front of a judge explaining how and why we like what we like for our dogs (like were completely wrong to begin with and only they know what is best for our dogs). It honestly can be frustrating/upsetting to have to go to buy my dog food and to have to be met with a debate or half argument-or even passive aggressive selling points. I would even go as far to say that if I have a question about a food or an ingredient, I am treated like I am an antagonist for green peace, like I'm the opposing party against this company. I think that it is a horrible idea to bring out a new company that is introducing essentially new ideas to society and act super pretentious about the product your selling-like a church or a cult. As a customer wanting to explore different options for my dog, I go into a store to learn, not to be hit over the head like I have no idea what I need for my dog.I find that when selling, its best to hear what the guest has to say, and then offer options based on what they need, not tell them they're wrong to begin with.Im not sure what the employees are being taught as far as selling, but this last time I went into the store, it is still the same as I talked about above. when I ask an employee "Hey, theres a lot of chunks of meat at the top of this. Is this the only meat in this? How do I know that my dog is getting the guaranteed analysis of protein listed on the back?", and I get an answer with another pretentious question- "Well how to do you know that the kibble you buy in the grocery store has the same analysis?"I think at that point my jaw just pretty much dropped and I thought "Okay, well it seems like they're just offensive about everything and I don't really want to shop here anymore."I really did keep hoping that it would be different overtime I went into the store, but it always ends up being this way, even though Im a repeat customer and essentially buy the same food every time.So for new people wanting to check out this store-do you're own research first. DO NOT always trust what an employee has to say. THEY'RE NOT YOUR VETERINARIAN and you're the one who needs to do your own research on what to feed your dog. I have learned to not just completely trust what the employees say about the food your feeding your dogs. You are your own best judge when it comes to your dogs food.I hope this company of employees finds the balance of trusting the dog owner while simultaneously helping the educate them on new ideas for dog food.
