Cannot recommend this Healthy Spot enough! We have exclusively been bringing our five year old pitbull rescue for grooming services to Reagan monthly for the last year, and can confirm that she is the best. Our dog is not the easiest to handle but you would never know based on her demeanor with Reagan. She always left with a beautiful makeover but more importantly she seemed truly happy. We recently moved out of state and still are missing Reagan. 10/10, best in town, Changa misses you Reagan! And she misses the rest of the Healthy Spot squad who always greeted us cheerfully when we came in for broths, treats, and more.

Five star experience! Thank you Leo and Jose for making all our girls look stylish and adorable. We have been coming to Healthy Spot for years and we always have a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly and professional and they treat our dogs very well. If you’re looking for a groomer with that special touch for your furbaby, look no further. We trust them with all 4 of our dogs 👍😁🐶🐾 Shout out to Grace for helping us schedule all our many appointments !

I love this location! Cozy little place with extremely knowledgeable and friendly people.Alex spent over an hour with me when I was first getting into raw diet for my little dachshund beagle mix. He knew all the answers to the concerns and questions I had with deep history and research. He even gave us free samples that ended up converting to sales later on because my dog loved it so much. He definitely deserves a promotion/raise).I also met Reagan a couple of times where she was super friendly and helpful, and gave my pup some sweet sweet pumpkin turkey treats today as well!Thank you all and keep spreading the word about healthy raw diets for our companions. Honest kitchen brand made my dogs sick, throwing up, bloody stool, they wouldn’t refund my money.Been taking my dogs here for teeth cleaning was never told anything about one of my dogs needing a deep clean. It’s now to the point where I have to spend $3000 at a vet for cleaning, and extractions. Very frustrated that whoever was cleaning the teeth didn’t notice, mention or suggest going somewhere else where they actually clean the dogs teeth.Don’t waste your time and money coming here.

love this spot! customer service is so amazing, everyone is so friendly and makes you feel at home. kinda pricey! but worth it if you love spoiling your furry bud. they’ve got grooming, training, boarding, etc, they’re literally equipped with everything! If you’re trying to budget out their services they list full prices & services online. 10/10 would recommend, especially for first time pet owners.

First time here and we absolutely fell in love with the store / staff. As a first time dog owner, it can be overwhelming with everything needed. However, we were met with Rose who who was extremely informative, helpful with all of our purchase and overall amazing.We will definitely be coming back and make this Healthy Spot our go-to for everything!

Healthy Spot is the best! I love how they take care of my dog and all his needs, and he's feeling much better! They did an amazing job in grooming my pet and the treats are affordable but of high quality.

I’m going to start by saying that they have nice and attentive/helpful front desk staff. Today was my first time coming to this location and I only came because I was looking for a place that had grooming same day appointments, thankfully they had an availability which I’m glad they did because I might be driving to this location now as opposed to the DTLA location. I appreciate the attention given to Zen and noticing his behavior while being under their care. Very rarely do I hear from the groomer small details that go a long way, so to the young man who groomed Zen thank you very much! To the front staff working today in the afternoon thank you both for being yourselves and providing good customer service.

Every time I come to this store (my local healthy spot by the way) whether it’s for some item I need or for grooming services, it is either out of stock or service unavailable. It’s happened at least 6 different times now and then I have to travel in traffic to a different location which feels extremely pointless. Why do I continue to support this company???? Today I came in a few minutes after apparently grooming hours are over? (5pm) but several hours before actual store closes and they could not take care of my dogs nail trimming which I know would of taken only minutes to do. A Friday, after work and I can’t do a walk in nail trim because their grooming hours are during work hours??? Occasionally I meet some good and nice associates in here but that isn’t enough for me not to write this overall review of what I think of this store. Enough already, time to go to an entirely different company I guess.

I love this location the most! All of the staff is so friendly and super knowledgeable! I come here pretty often and am never disappointed! My dog LOVES the cod skins they have there and they even have a really great selection of raw foods!

Great customer service. Very knowledgeable and non pretentious staff with a rather wide selection of healthy foods and treats for your canine and feline friends. I no longer need to go to Petco (which I never really liked anyway.) The prices are not outlandish. They may be a dollar or three more than the big box stores, but I'd rather have my pets on a reliable, healthy diet, with experts in my neighborhood that I can talk to. Great Place!

This review is for the store itself and not the grooming because we have not done that... yet. The people who work at the Healthy Spot on Seward and Melrose treat every customer and dog who trots in there like royalty. (Yes, my dog Kai trots in there... LOL)The first time I was there was on a whim, yet we went home with treasure bag full of treats and promotional packages of organic food to sample. But also my many, many questions about grooming were patiently answered. We just returned from our 3rd visit- with another very positive experience. (And Kai picked out a teddy bear! <3 <3 <3 )True, there's some high end stuff there that is way overpriced. But there are great affordable selections, too! They're so friendly and helpful, they'll help you find whatever you need within in your budget. The customers are also friendly! It's like a very civilized dog park, but in a clean store! I love taking Kai to The Healthy spot.So if you have a doggie (or kitty) to shop for this holiday, I highly reccomend you check them out. :)

I recently moved to the area and decided to give healthy spot a try because my pup desperately needed a haircut and nail clip. I have a rescue and he is terrified of groomers. To my surprise he was absolutely calm when I came to pick him up. It has never happened before. Normally he tries to run away. The groomer was very nice (don't remember her name 😕) and we definitely will come back. The store staff is also very nice and friendly

We brought our Maltese-mix to The Healthy Spot on Melrose for a first time grooming. The location is super clean with easy parking. Our dog has fine, silky hair and he was a mess! Annie did such a great job with him and we couldn't be happier. :-) We gave her some basic instructions on how we wanted him cut and it's perfect! We also had super helpful customer service at check-out from Billy (and others, but I forgot to get her name) with great advice about food and treats. Can't wait to go back!

Worst location. The girls and store manager makes up policy as they go. They also do not respect their customers. I tried to schedule for a puppy grooming. The lady I spoke to said I can't schedule within 24 hours after their last shot. She said it twice. Then she got her manager on the phone and said 24-48 and refuse to make the appointment because their their policy. I asked where is this policy and she said they don't have it in writing - so I'm confused because you said 24 hours and now you are saying something else. They make up the rules apparently as they go. I ask for district manager and they refuse to give me information. I asked for district managers number or email and they said no they don't have one - which isn't true. She then tired to hang up on me and started to talk about me in the store after getting my information. She said someone is going to call me right away and that never happened.

I came here to see what the store was like and to get some new car N dog toys and some dog food. The store is open and we'll lit and very clean - it is newly remodeled after the auto place closed. The staff here were all very friendly and helpful. I'm thinking about taking one of the dogs here to be groomed.

They have only very healthy high quality foods which are pricey but worth it if you really love your pet and can afford to give him/her the best. They're also really knowledgeable about all the foods and incredibly friendly and helpful!

Love Healthy Spot. They make it so easy to know I’m getting the best products for my dog. This is one of their larger stores with retail, grooming and daycare, so they have you covered from teeth to tail.
