If I could it would be 0 star for this location. They sterio type people and their uhaul service is a joke you will get fees and extra rental day fees added. All because they inconvenience customers will there gets being locked at 6pm and you can't return rental back even though it's supposed to be 24hr drop off. I believe they do this on purpose so customers have no choice bit be charged extra fee. They are rude and unprofessional when you try to tell them well how are you supposed to drop off when they have gates locked and then say you will be charged no matter what. This is there way of scamming us customers to pay extra fees and days. Will not recommended this location for rentals and now I know why reviews are bad at this location. Definitely avoid avoid this place.

Excellent customer service, prices are pretty steep, but I rented a U-Haul and the service to rent was so easy, efficient and I would surely rent here again.

must have a major bank card to purchase a unfortunately they do not accept direct deposit or PayPal government issue debit card will not be accepted at the U-Haul facilities you can reserve a reservation with a PayPal re-direct deposit account

Everyone here is incredibly nice and helpful. I placed an order for a uhaul online. When they pulled the truck around I suddenly realized that I forgot to order the larger truck with the roll-out ramp. They happened to have a larger truck on the lot that morning that they were able to swap out for me (even after we had handled the paperwork for the smaller truck I accidentally ordered). They didn't huff or puff about anything but were very understanding and happy to make the change. Their customer service is top-notch and I'd highly recommend this place.

I was looking for a fairly simple screw. After Home Depot and Lowes which were no help at all. I went to Hane True Value Hardware. These guys are amazing. They offer to help as soon as you walk in. They were very helpful. They didn't send me to an aisle with thousands of fasteners. The guy helping me went got what I needed and handed it to me. Mom n Pop is where its at. These giant stores are over priced and useless. I highly recommend them and it should be your first stop. Keep up the great work.

A place strategically located in the heart of south central L.A. definitely an alternative to Home Depot when it comes to waiting in line and service. The decision is yours though, I found it quite accessible.. Good luck my friends.

The hardware store is great but I don't understand why they're so shady when it comes to the uhaul rentals great service In store but be prepared for hidden fees and sneaky blames when u rent uhauls I'd avoid renting a uhaul all together

Excellent customer service. Come here for all your hardware!! The staff is VERY knowledgable and helpful. I don't really know much about completing home projects around the house; but maybe about 4 different employees that have helped me at separate times, always knew exactly what to do. Mostly what type of screw to use for a specific project, what powder to clean for grease debris off wooden cabinets, repairing wall, and even electrical stuff. And this place has eco-friendly cleaning supplies, which is not easy to find around the area. ☀️

Would have given 5 stars but the girl they have as the cashier has the worst customer service skills I have come across in a long time. The young man that helped my find garden stakes was a sweetheart, got what I wanted and headed to the register in less than 5 min. BUT then the girl ruined the experience. I checked if anyone was in line so I could head straight to the register, she looks at me and says nothing. So I think to myself that maybe this isn't where you pay or something since she didn't greet me or acknowledge me in any way. So then I ask her if this is where you pay and she says,"uh huh"., that's it. Ok... so I hand her the stakes to ring up and pay, still doesn't say anything to me other then telling me to enter my pin. Maybe cuz I've worked retail I expect more. I step to the side as she rings up a diff customer who was buying 2 screws for a pet carrier he had with him. She does the same, doesn't greet, one of the screws slips out of his hand on the counter and she doesn't even flinch to help or anything. I only came to this location because it was close to home and all the Home Depot's and Lowe's in a 10 mile radius were out of stock of these types of stakes. I've heard from other people not to shop at this store because they've gotten snotty attitudes from employees here. Now I get it. You guys have to understand that one employee's bad attitude can ruin a total shopping experience. Either you retrain that girl or hire someone else because that bothered, more than it should I must admit.

I am a girl's girl who feels compelled to write a glowing review of this hardware store. Yes. You heard me correctly. Not a shoe store. Not a clothing store. Not even a restaurant. I've been walking around with a screw that fell out of my freezer for months. The dolts at the Big Box Hardware stores had no idea how to help me get another screw. Thankfully, I went to Hanes True Hardware and was helped expeditiously and efficiently. Kudos! Such service is so rare these days I'm glad I was able to receive it there.

I WOULD GIVE THEM A ZERO STAR IF I COULD. Prices are dumb for lack of more eloquent wording. This is suppose to be part of a community store and i feel it takes advantage of the locals that want to purchase something quick without going to a farther location like home depot where prices are way more convenient. It is not bravely hills so please stop trying to make the most out of the locals who for most part earn the minimum wage. I hate stores like this one who are very unconscious of who they are targeting. First and last time i will stop by this location. I will spread the word about them and hope they reconsider their business strategy. I am very annoyed to understand how the community does not give a dam about each other. It must end and we need to drive businesses out of business who just want to squeeze ever dime they can from others and get rich without carring for others.

I just went there to pick up a U-Haul trailer but the place looks like a nice local hardware store that would have a lot of stuff that the big box stores would not have staff was extremely friendly so I think it is all around good place

When we were growing up in L.A., I remember when the milkman delivered the milk, butter, & cream, the neighbors and the mailman was still white and Tapatio store was Better Foods Market, and I miss those days. We also remember the Hane's Hardware Store around the corner on Florence, then the Grandfather of the family owned & operated the store and was so good and kind to everyone; all people, and I will say this...this Hane's Hardware Store was the only business that stayed when all the other companies started moving out in the 1970's. But Hane's Stayed...and we all remember to this day who grew up on 73rd Street & San Pedro and the area.Hi Dennis (one of the grandson's) I hope all is well with you & the family.These have always been good people with patient and outstanding service to the community and the example of how to run a business. Continue the tradition boys, .Grandpa's proud of y'all.
