Great community, friendly employees, but this store serves an incredibly large area of South Los Angeles, long lines and large numbers of customers. Sometimes depleted food supplies. Hats off to the employees who are always professional and curtious.

I hate shopping here. When I arrive there’s only a few shopping carts available, and they are all broken. So I’m like okay I’ll use a basket - no baskets. So before I even enter the store I can’t even go in with a working shopping cart or basket. I’m pushing this broken shopping cart around now it’s ridiculous. I’m always confronted by sales people before I get into the store too. Insanely long lines and don’t have the products I really want. Not sure why I keep coming back I guess cuz it’s closest to me.Came back and so regret. Jeez I hate this place…Came back again and regret again…. I just needed a couple things, and the deodorant was locked, and the button to call staff to unlock is broken, then they say I have to get in line (which is super long of course) and then the cashier will get it, but I’m just getting two things and want to use self check out. I’m over it and won’t be buying anything now.I will seriously never come here again or give them another dollar. Literally the worst grocery store….. they got new shopping carts though… so that’s good…If you have lots of time to wait in line and don’t want anything organic then it’s a good place to shop. I also didn’t see any raw pork meat for sale either. I have no idea how this is a 4 star rated business lmfao

I recommend that you never pay with debit card in this food 4 less. As going to cashier number #2. There was a man he took picture of my husband debit card and he acted like he didn't. And eventually he stole from my husband debit as it was $106.45. I had reported the fraud. It was the clerk. This happened this October 20,2023 at 7:30pm.

Terrible line management at this location!!!!! 6 self checkout stands alleviate the excessive long lines except the self checkout stands are all closed at 9:00pm in a Saturday night with 3 hours of business to go??!!! Only 3 clerk checkout open with customer lines going up and down the food aisles?!?! No manager in sight to complain to at least 4 clerks walking around doing other things. Pay attention to the excessively long customer lines and utilize your 6 self checkout stands to 1 human clerk checkout!!! Call corporate if your branch lacks problem solving skills and critical thinking!!!!! Everyday! Every week! Every shift!

Extremely frustrating. They don’t update their in-stock/out-of-stock inventory. The whole reason I placed an Instacart order was for John Soules Beef Fajitas. It clearly says there are many in stock. But of course they’re actually out. Tried calling to see when they’ll have more, and the line just rings. No customer service whatsoever.

My experience while shopping at this store was horrible. The customer service is extremely unprofessional, vindictive and racist. The lines are long and many elders we’re waiting for an hour to simply check out. I would advise anyone who values their time to not shop here. This place is unsanitary, prices are marked up and comes with a lot of. Other burdens while trying to simply shop forGroceries.

All the cashiers at food 4 less are friendly but the friendly and good customer service is her name Madylonne Urtis she is fast and she always say hi to you and she remember who you are when you go to her lane she is ready when it’s busy

It was OK shopping here. They made me pay for plastic when normally I don't have to with my card but whatever. The cashier was kind of rude and you bag your own items. If I wanted to do your job I would apply for it.Update: I knew I wasn't supposed to pay for my own bags, so the girl that checked me out that way must've been an ignorant person. With EBT, bags are free. & at this location you do bag your own items. It's frustrating but nothing to stress over. They are very helpful when needing to find something, and even offer helping me with picking up items (I'm pregnant). The location is a bit rough, but I'm there to shop, not associate. I'm a very kind person so I always look forward to experiencing that with others.. for the most part customer service is pretty OK.

Very nice place, but I found that the freezer food was first when you come in the door. Other Food 4 Less stores that I visited it was the opposite. Restrooms are clean. Finally I did not like the baggage check when you come in the door. I feel that that is the reason why all the cameras are in store to prevent shoplifting. After all I was once told the only reason that security is in place is to keep the honest people honest.

This store is always clear of any trash or debris in the aisles, the veggies & fruits section is always kept stocked & clean, the meat section, everything that you're looking for its for sure they have it & if they don't you talk to the mangers & they make sure to have it ordered for your next visit. The managers & all the employees are nice & courteous. Great customer service!

It's a great place! The majority of the employees here are kind. Unfortunately, they don't have hand baskets here no more due to them being stolen by 'customers' because of lazy work from the security guards. It gets crowded due to heavy shopping cart traffic, other than that, it's all great.

This Food 4 Less as well lit. The employees are very helpful and determined to meet their customer needs as best they can. Because they were trying to get our debit card to work which would not work. The store was well kept there was a employee on every isle working I'm give them 5 stars for determination

Mornings if you can are the best time to go and when I say mornings I mean BEFORE 7am. There were very helpful with question and courteous at the checkout. However, they do not have any of those little Hand carts that you care that you carry around in your hand.

I kinda d idnt like the fact that every time I turned around, it seemed like security guard was there, but I guess that's his job to stalk... oh and when the lines are long, it would be nice if you would have open up the 20 lanes you have closed vs the 4 u have open... ijs....

Parking lot is sufficient; I haven't had a problem finding a park. I found everything that I needed by reading the posted signage, clean and organized. I always find what I need; including "unadvertised" Manager's Specials! Just my fourth visit to this store, and I keep returning. Oh yeah, friendly helpful Checkers. F4L "IS" my market of choice ALL THE TIME, no matter it's location. 👍👍
