I started taking my 1st Shih Tzu (Kesha) to Eloise in 1981. She took wonderful care of her until Kesha passed. Several years went by b4 I got another Shih Tzu (Shogun) & again Eloise took wonderful care in clipping his hair & nails exactly as I liked & he always smelled good. 8 years later, I picked up stray (Smitty) who was about 2 yrs old at the time & together he & Shogun were groomed by Eloise or her amazing son, Frank. When Frank married Marie, she handled the appt schedule. At times, Eloise showed up even when she wasn’t well but still with the same happy disposition. It was rare if she didn’t have them finished on time but she would let you know when it was a heavy day for her & many times she stayed late waiting for an owner to pick up their pup. We lost Shogun in early 2017 & Smitty in late 2019.I’m speaking from 40+ years experience,Eloise’s is the best family owned dog groomers in the business & I hope they are still in business when (& I will) get another doggie. I love them. God bless them.

You know how you find that really great hairstylist and you stick with them...because they are just that good....well I moved all the way to compton....and I still make the trip to Culver city just so that my dogs can be groomed properly by Eloise. Unfortunately not to many groomers know what they are doing when it comes to really cleaning dogs.... Eloise has me as a customer for life. She gives great service, and her prices are reasonable.

Eloise is a very amazing, humble and sensational groomer who is extremely sweet, reliable, professional and creative with her grooming of my baby girl. She has her adorable son Frank who is awesome at customer service and is always remembering the little specifics to my dog (like if she has a skin tag somewhere and they need to be ultra careful with the scissors!). Marie is also wonderful with making sure my times are adapted to within my schedule. Thank you so much Eloise, Frank and Marie..very very welcoming, down to earth and reasonable grooming fees beyond. I feel like I step back into time with real face to face communication and conversation everytime I go in there versus the hussle and bussle of every other grooming place too busy answering phones and drumming up biz to pay attention to their current clientele (hey, the bread and butter is who is in front of you..vendors out there need to listen up...Eloise does it right!) You will be happy with the cut and your dog will prance out of their pleased of their new dog "hairdo" replete with head to toe care that can't be beat.,

Not only are their prices very REASONABLE. Their skill is awesome too. She takes care of my two little Toy Poodles with gentleness and care. Sydney and Sandy loves her and her son Frank. I recommend Eloise's Clip and Fluff Boutique to all doggie lovers who cares about their look.

I dropped my dog off on a Saturday at about 8:10am and was quoted a 2pm completion time. I never received a phone call and decided to come in at 5pm to check on my dog, who was finished. I was told that my voice mail box wasn't set up when she tried calling, which is not true because I called earlier that week to inquire for an appointment and Angela left me a voice mail.Regardless, my email was on my dogs tag (on her collar) which she must have seen since there was a bow tied on it. So even if there was a wrong number, there was an alternative method of contact.It seems like she gave up on contacting me after misdialing my phone number which is unacceptable.As for the haircut, it was generally nice although there were a few spots that were missed. I'd say it's good value since it includes ear cleaning, nail clipping etc. I didn't find the scent very pleasant, though. I'd ask for something else if there was a next time but unfortunately because of the lack of communication I won't be returning.
