This was my first time getting my seal lynx point cat a haircut. It's been hot in LA so he's been shedding a lot and would have tumbleweeds of his fur roaming everywhere at my house. Whenever I give him baths, he's very difficult to work with and requires at least 2 people to get it done, so I was worried that he would be a difficult cat for the groomers. But luckily, Desly's Pet Grooming got it done!You have to call in to set an appointment time for your cat. They don't do anything else besides shaving down the fur; so no lion cuts here. I didn't care i just wanted him shaven anyway. They said the price would be between $60-90. Since he's a bit cat with long hair, at the end the total was $80. Yeah it's pricey, but at other places, the base price is $80 so I'm not complaining. Plus they took very good care of my baby so it was worth it!There's no designated parking lot so you have to street park. I didn't have trouble finding parking spots in front of the store though. When I went during my appointment time to drop him off, I filled in some paperwork and answered some questions about my cat regarding how his temperament is and if he's gonna be easy or difficult to work with. I told them honestly that he might scratch and bite because he hates getting his paws touched and hates baths. They seemed a bit worried but assured me that they'll do their best, but if he's too difficult, they won't continue because they don't want to traumatize my cat. I thought that was really sweet and admirable of them and I agreed that it's okay for them to not continue if he's extremely difficult to work with. After all that, they took him to the back and I went back home to wait.The lady (I think she's Desly? I'm not sure..) called me to let me know that they were going to start on Fynny and updated me on his status. She said she opened his carrier to get a feel of the space and he stopped meowing at that point, so she took extra steps to make sure that my cat felt safe. My cat must have picked that up because as seen in the screenshot of our text conversation (see photo), he was cuddled up in her arms with a shaven body. He trusted her and I could see that in the photo. She was extremely nice to him and that's why I give this place 5 stars.I dropped him off at 10:30am, and he ended up finishing at around 3:30pm. It took him a while because she said that he didn't seem to like the dryer at high speed so in order to not traumatize him, she doing it low and slow. Again, I reallyyyy appreciated that and the level of care that was demonstrated to my baby.I'll definitely be back here again when my cats need grooming. Thanks again to Desly and the staff for going above and beyond to make my cat feel safe!

I brought my dog Queso in to Desly's in time for a birthday party and Desly did an amazing job. Prices are reasonable and the cut was exactly what I asked for. Queso came out excited and ready to party. :) A+++

I've been bringing my two dogs(princess and tiny) since they were small puppies. I love how they know what I want for my dogs bath and cut. They are a very caring and nice family. Now they send a text that our little ones are ready to be picked up and the time they close, a Good way of also letting customers know instead of calls. Their business is very clean and open space. Thank you very much.

What nice people, what reasonable prices, what easy access. This place just has great vibes all around. My dog is kind of a jerk to most people, except the people here at Delsy's - he seems to like them. Thanks for taking such good care of my little noodle! He loves his haircuts. (I think)

This place is great! Super welcoming and very accommodating, I was able to get an appt the same day I called. Desley is wonderful! She was a great help and very thorough with the services she was doing for my pup. My doggo came out clean and happy (: Looking forward to bringing her again for more grooming and support this lovely business. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Called to see if they carried Zignature dog food, and ended up getting a flea bath, nails trimmed, bath, dog collar, and 5 bags of dog food. I'm definitely a client now. The counter lady was super sweet, she made the difference.

They are a great family owned grooming shop. They are patient with young puppies and get the job done. It's lightly more expensive than Petco and Petsmart, but the service is also better. My dog loves the workers and is always happy to go for a grooming.

The only negative thing I have to say is I was told they opened at 8:30 but didn’t show up until 9:00. This was my first time there and the person that waited on me was courteous and described what would be done. They finished in less than an hour and my dog looked like new. I was very satisfied, the price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend them.

Could not finish the job I had to help her finish grooming my dog. She said he was to un stable and very aggressive would not come here again, unprofessional work does not know how to groom dogs if she ask the owners for assistance worst place ever would not recommend to anyone. They did not cut his nails and did not clean his ears. She still charged me full price for incomplete work. The owner Delsey called me angry for giving a bad review but I’m just being honest. I would not recommend this place.

I really liked this place and the fact that they are open until 8 which works great with my work schedule. The people that work there are really nice and they know what they are doing. Place is nice and clean plus offers a great variety of pet products you can purchase. within an hour an 15 minutes I got called that my puppy was ready to go, when I saw my doggie he looked so clean and smelled soooo good! It might look small from the outside but its a good size inside (2 businesses together). Prices are very reasonable too and they have specials 2 days out of the week! Im definately coming back!

This place has mixed reviews, which should alert anyone reading. Unfortunately, we had an bad experience (twice), but a friend insisted we give them a 2nd chance since it had been a few years from our 1st experience so we said, what the heck.. big mistake.Began by booking an appointment for a Monday morning groom only to be told upon arrival that we would be called when ready later in the afternoon around 4pm since we didn't have an appointment. 🤔 Ok so that's that. They didn't have our latest info so someone came looking for us at the house to let us know our babe was ready. The lady came by frazzled talking about our dog wasn't walking anymore that it be best we carry her 😨 truly scaring the bejeezus out of us. So yeah, our babe was out of it but once outside this joint she began to sense her freedom and walked again.. clearly, something was done to her to frighten her so, mind you, our dog is 15 years old, she's seen her share of evil this world has to offer.As for the grooming aspect, they pretty much butchered her, shaved her down to her knickers, removing her whiskers too 😞 I mean, who does this? Uneven shave with random untrimmed spots, razor burns on neck, ears, head (which btw, still scabbing over) 😣😢 terrible groom for a lovely golden doodle mix. I guess you get what you pay for 🙍 I guess we'll have to keep looking for groomers, how I miss her old LaBrea groomer 😞Prices are reasonable, place looks spacious. Maybe they do best with smaller dogs, by the looks of the reviews & posted pics. My dog is a medium size, 23lb. Mix goldendoodle. A lovely gentle soul who loves humankind.

Really happy to find that Desly's is just around the corner from my new home. Her staff did a great job on Braidy (Maltese mix) and Skylar ( Boston Bull). They look great! Love the shop too. Lots of cute things to buy for the fur babies!

First off the lady that books the appointments is extremely rude, I first thought she had hearing problems but then when she kept yelling back in a rude and sarcastic way I got fed up. I was calling to ask if my dog was ready because they said they would call me when she was ready but 4 hrs seemed too long, specially since it was nearly 7pm. I went to pick my dog and immediately noticed that my dog was not ok. The lady yelled at me that my dog had bit her. I was in shock because my dog has NeVER bitten anyone. I Apologized but she just rolled her eyes and opened the cage where my dog was at. My dog looked so frightened and walked slowly with her tail down . I immediately grabbed her and took her home ... While at home my dog was not as active as usual. Whenever I want to pet her she backs away. These kind of things should not happen.

Awsome place. They have a sense or urgency! They take good care of the animals. They are gentle, outgoing and friendly. They are also cheap! They have good deals and reasonable prices. Very good performance overall. Like em! :)

It's the sort of shop that makes you and your little furry one feel at home. Our 3 dogs get excited when they realize they are going there. We go there for cuts and wash and have been going for a couple of years now. Thank you Desly!!!

So,I was trying to book an appointment today (last minute thing so i kinda figured they were going to say no) therefore, I asked, "i was wondering if i can book an appointment today?" and right off the bat with a rude, deep tone from the lady who answered "NO it has to be tomorrow" then I asked,"what about tomorrow after 4pm?" and again "UH NO it has to be before 2pm" I then said,"Okay,never mind I can't do that time:(" and she said,"okay and hung up".1.I went with the reviews that they were friendly and nice,but the lady who answered was speaking so rude and nasty.2.She was doing disgusting noises with her nose,GROSS!.3.Their phone landline was so horrible,it made scratchy noises and it was hard to speak and understand.4.She could have tried to book me for another day,but she did not care at all.I was planning on taking my 2 cats here to get groomed but NEVERMIND!THEIR LOSS ON $120!!!

I dont recommend this place, the lady is too rude and my dog come back home all bleeding just because his hair is curly she told me, my dog is sad unhappy no no im not bringing him here anymore if she is rude with me I don't want to imagine how she treat my pet.
