Well...today (4/19/24) - it was just a pharmacy visit...but as usual...greeted very warmly, yet very professionally...Francesca is so consistent...as is Adrienne; who was noticeably busy, yet still courteous... acknowledging my presence (she's always so helpful, patient, kind and professional when I call). My 'faithfulness' to CVS is because of these ladies/gents who are part of Adriennes' "crew"!

Truly do not care about their customers. I have been calling the pharmacy all day long been put on hold for more than 1 hour, hung up and called again and was put on hold for another 45 mintutes, hung up and called later and after 40 minutes still on hold. I called the front office to ask then to go ask the pharmacy to pick up, they said yes, and no one did.The only reason I have put 2 stars, even though I really want to give them only 1, is bcause the pharmasist are usually very nice once you get to talkt to them. but I doubt I will be putting my prescritpion through them again.They wasted so much of my time!!!

I’ve always been impressed with the competence of the pharmacists here. It’s a very busy location and their jobs are clearly very challenging, but they do a great job.Just got my flu vaccine here and barely had to wait. The woman who gave the vaccine was extremely personable and kind.

Your pharmacist send me to watch a YouTube video or to make an appointment on how to use trulicity. I needed to take my weekly injection yesterday it was my 3rd time. The other 2 times pharmacists at other CVs stores guided me through it. I work full time. I couldn’t make it to another pharmacy yesterday or today. It takes month to make app with doctors. & if this YouTube video is so informative why doesn’t she watch it? Your pharmacist lacked knowledge on how to use a product that you carry & I got from you. Literally didn’t know how to lock or unlock it. How I would know if I got the dosage.I tried to approach her twice. She was dismissive like I am waisting her time & she has other more important patients to attend to. Like it was not her job to make sure that I knew how to operate the syringe. & I am to dumb to know how to watch a YouTube video. I am a diabetic sending me on my way when I clearly stated twice that I don’t know how to use the product literally puts my life in danger. & her passing the ball to YouTube or Dr that take forever to see for a medicine that needs to be taken right than. It’s not only incompetent & irresponsible it’s dangerous.

I've been going on and off to this pharmacy for about 6 years now, not because they're any good, but because the nature of my conditions make it difficult to travel far for medication.The pharmacists here are not only callous, but actively read the worst into all of their clients. If you are unfortunate enough, as am I, to require using medications which fall under the egregiously bad Controlled Substances Act, you will be treated like a criminal by the pharmacists at 8985.Never once have I felt like I was treated in good faith as a patient just trying to stay alive; the pharmacists here assume you and I are coming in bad faith: either we are addicts, or are actually criminally reselling the medications on the black market. If you ever lose a bottle, or a few pills, as one might genuinely do when dealing with mental or physical conditions, the pharmacists at this CVS will give you no quarter - they'll tell you to pound sand.Not only that - but they are constantly running out of critical medications and will often refuse to tell you where else you could go to get them - again - because they assume you are a criminal looking to case the joint - not a patient just looking to get healthcare.I highly recommend against ever patronizing CVS if you can avoid it - and the pharmacists at this particular location, 8985 Venice, get the absolute lowest of marks from me.

I went here yesterday for a shot. I know that it’s not that bad; however, as someone who gets filler and botox, there is clearly an art to it. I was ready for something more on the jarring side, but it was surprisingly pain free. The nurse doing injections is one of the best. I’ll be going back to this only from now on. Thank you!

Worst pharmacy ever...their own employees don't know the process of transferring prescriptions or conducting consultations. Would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. 0⭐

Worst pharmacy I have ever used. No matter how simple the issue is (new medication, refill, OTC drug prescribed by Dr.), they always manage to screw it up. And, as others have said, they are very slow. Waiting in one line to find out that there's been a mistake (again) and having to wait in a second line and try to sort things out (often by making calls and fixing it for yourself), is a hassle and often takes over an hour with no resolution. I've started expecting every trip to turn into 2 or 3 trips. If they arent sure about something or don't know how to do it, they'll lie and say they don't do that instead of making the effort to learn. I won't be going back even though it's the closest pharmacy to me.
