I don’t like writing bad reviews but I feel like I should give a little warning. Normally my experience is okay but I called to ask about an emergency refill for my prescription while my health insurance/PCP is changing and the person I spoke with was so unnecessarily mean. I know they have busy and stressful jobs in the pharmacy but it was bad enough that I feel like I’ll be apprehensive to call/go back in again.

The clinic sent me a prescription an hour ago. But the staff with red hair didn't said sorry and told me to wait another 40 minutes. Does it make sense that it takes you an hour and 40 minutes to prepare the medicine? And I waited for a long time to get on the phone and finally connected, but the staff hung up

The pharmacists and pharmacy techs are so mean at the pharmacy. If there is any problem with your prescription they will never look it up and try to help, they will start tearing into you and somehow blaming you for it.I just got lectured to like a child because I asked if they were refilling the prescription from my primary doctor, or from the one I saw while my primary doctor was on vacation.I am not the kind of person to be rude to customer service or staff or anything, I’ve never raised my voice or been difficult with them or anyone else. Despite this they always treat me with hostility and disrespect. I’m not the kind of person that needs to be served with a smile and a cheery attitude! You can frown all you want and ignore when I say hello, just please don’t belittle me when I ask a basic question about my medication.Its not just me they are mean to, but also all of my neighbors who have used this pharmacy. They love to profile you and mess with you if you’re picking up any controlled substance, even if you’ve had a prescription with them for years.On top of all that, they treated me like I was some kind of criminal for helping pick up medication for a neighbor who was bed-bound after a leg injury.I get it, you want to make sure medicine is not stolen, but how about you call the prescriber or the patient and confirm before treating the kind person who volunteered to pick up their meds into some kind of horrible criminal. It took me telling them that before they actually worked to confirm the situation.Horrible horrible horrible. If you go here to fill a prescription you will suffer the same fate.

They don't seem to want to do their job. When I went to pick up my prescription 2 hours after receiving it, they were talking about how your medication wasn't available, saying it couldn't be found anywhere, and that the doctor who prescribed the medication was mistaken. So what did they do for those 2 hours? If there's no medication, shouldn't they have called the hospital that prescribed the medication to take action? I'm a patient. I just went to pick up my medication. I wasted 2 hours and ended up going to the CVS at sunset to pick it up. They said the medication couldn't be found anywhere, but it was available at the CVS in sunset. In the end, the conclusion is that they don't even seem to want to work. It's better not to go to the CVS pharmacy on Wilshire. You'll just waste your time.

Least helpful pharmacy I have ever been to. Tell me to come back at a certain time to pick up my prescription, show up at the time they told me to, still not ready. Most recently, they are out of stock of my prescription, super unhelpful in locating other pharmacies in the area that would be able to fill and they tell me to call around to find one.

Think twice before u have them deliver your prescription. I am taking meds for my cancer treatment and I didn't get the package but USPS says it was delivered. The girl I spoke with told me there is NOTHING cvs can do. I have to call USPS. WTH. Are u kidding me? USPS? I need the meds and now I am stressing out how to get them!! Insurance won't cover.. This is CRAZY!

Racist security guard (female, Mexican and a lot of makeup) targets Black customers only; racial profiling. She followed me around the store then did the same to the other Black person after I checked out. The store was full of other customers who were non-Black.. I requested an item behind the glass and was told to retrieve it at checkout. While waiting for my (Asian) friend to finish shopping, I saw the same store clerk give an item behind the glass to a Mexican customer, without having to retrieve it at checkout like I was told. Disgusting.

It's open 24hrs which is always good. Its always clean on the floor but usually are not fully stocked & don't have what you came for. Because of the solicitation on both exits I don't visit the restrooms. The associates never say hi on the sales floor & the lines are always long but the person in jewelry will come out to help you with the self checkout without being asked. The pharmacy is always helpful & pretty quick even if they are super busy.

I've tried to use this pharmacy for several years. Roughly every six months, they make some major mistake with my medication, such as failing to provide the right needles, mixing up the dosages, etc. If you have multiple medications, they'll spread out the delivery times, then lie to you about when things will arrive or be sent back.
