The groomer, Ali, is an absolute gem of a human and the best groomer we have ever used. We have had our dog for 8 years and tried dozens of groomers around LA and none of them have ever done what we asked. All the other groomers always just say “our only option was to shave her down completely” (we have a poodle/Bichon mix and her hair can get matted from time to time) but not Ali!!! He did exactly what we asked and actually even better than what we asked!!!We will exclusively be getting our dog groomed from Ali now!

Thanks so much for watching Bruce and keeping him safe! It seems like he had a good time and wasn’t as anxious as the last time I picked him up from daycare. My only piece of feedback would be to have some way of sharing a daily pic if someone boards their dog. I know that can be challenging since there’s a lot of dogs to keep track of and that’s the priority but even a simple text would go a long way.

They are so professional here and take such amazing care of my pup. Any issue that’s happened has been resolved instantly and I feel like my pup is safe when I leave him here.Last week, I went to drop Lando off at daycare and he had his paws on the gate excited to go in. He walks in with the team and doesn’t look back. He was NOT like this his first day. The team has slowly gained his trust and make him excited to go to daycare.Grooming services are also great.

AVOID THIS LOCATIONWe moved from Culver City to West LA and starting coming here after positive experience at the location out on Higuera St. Our appointments are constantly cancelled but we kept giving them a chance. This location on Pontius Ave are unable to keep staff. We had our appointment cancelled for grooming because an employee quit on the spot, we had another appointment which Citydog cancelled because they got booked for a dog party then on our makeup appointment we got a call AFTER dropping off our dogs that they don't have staff. Mind you I received 4 text message and 2 emails in a 24 hour window confirming the appointment.

Place sounded like a house of horrors when I walked in.Wasted about a half hour filling out online paper work just to get an appointment and they wanted more paperwork when I got there and wouldn’t see my dogComplete waste of time. Calling a mobile groomer who takes cash and doesn’t deal in any of that nonsense.I’ll never get those hours back. Some people want to do business. Others look for the smallest technicality to NOT do business.City dog is one of the later.

What a great treat for any dog. Everything is just absolutely great!There is no better place for our pets. My dog absolutely loves this place. They are very caring and compassionate. As for the premises, it is always immaculately clean, spacious and well planned. The crew is very professional, courteous, friendly and eager to help. The service it honestly unbelievable.

They have always been great! Very convenient hours for drop off and pickup and they can handle last minute bookings for someone like me who says yes to a trip a day before going. They’re always quick to call if there are any concerns as well. 60 something a night is a bit steep compared to having a Rover sitter come but I trust this staff more than a random person on an app.

Workers are nice. Manager is atrocious. One of my dogs came down with kennel cough and the other dog flu 5 days ago. The manager’s response was to “de join” my dog claiming he was “dangerous” after one worker couldn’t handle him when he got excited and didn’t want to her to put his collar on.DO NOT JOIN THIS LOCATION. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

We left our dog here once. She came back very anxious. The dogs are always barking and I see no staff members with the dogs. That and the rumored deaths I heard about later, I'm never coming back.

We come here for one reason ... Jesse the groomer!! My dog has huge separation anxiety. Jesse is wonderful with her. Last visit was the first time in 4 years that my dog stopped crying when Jesse went to pick her up (and gave her some kisses). The only negative ... my dog only gets a haircut (no wash, nails, ears ...) and it is quite pricy for a simple cut. We will be back. Anything to make my dog more comfortable.

Grooming - I've been going to Citydog for six years, and they always do a great job grooming my bichonpoo. (I went to Jaymee for many years, and she is awesome but she left.) Now I go to Jessie, who is also fantastic. She took extra time, love, and care to give my dog the perfect haircut (as she always does). And I love her cheery, positive attitude. She's a keeper!Daycare - I've also used their doggy daycare services, which are great. I can watch my dog remotely via their cameras, and the staff is so friendly and caring, they sometimes send me pictures of my pooch.

What happened to all the friendly staff? We took a little break from this daycare. When I’m back this week, all the staff has gone. I don’t recognize any of the people working there anymore. It’s a very serious vibe in there now. So strange. I miss the old crew!

I love Citydog! Club, and wouldn't take my pup anywhere else. They are great, responsive, and compared to other doggy daycares, very reasonable. Every time I call to check on my dog they put me on hold and walk back to check on her themselves. I feel totally comfortable leaving my dog there during the day, or over a weekend.

I have to say we have never been happier with a place to leave our Dreeam! (our blue fawn pit). From the second you walk in the door the team greets you with a warm smile, they are never too busy to help you and answer all of your questions. They are warm, friendly and the love they have for dogs shines through with every interaction you have with them. The got to meet the owners April and Phillip (dog lovers themselves) and they take an interest in your needs and concerns when it comes to your dog. You have to meet them! Great people and dog lovers!I met the Dog trainer @ CityDog Club and really liked his positive approach. We have gone to other trainers in the past who believed in choke collars and a harsher approach. Dreeam has never responded better when using the tools CityDog he has given us with training Dreeam. We wish we found them first!The CityDog Club facility is as clean as it gets, in order and provides such a fun, active environment for Dreeam to go to. Our dog is very active and loves to run and play. We love that she is not kept in a cage with minimal walks. She gets to run around with other dogs her size, play and keep active.If you are looking for a place for your dog, you have to join the club...CityDog Club...in a way I wish there was a place like that for us also! :)
