I bought this thinking it would save me time but it did not and I’m out $400! When it worked, it was great but most of the time I spent cleaning the rake because clumps of little got stuck and other times the clumps never went into the bin. The screen doesn’t work so I can never manually set it to rake when it doesn’t clean up. It needs to be redesigned to be more efficient for the price it cost to own this thing. SAVE YOUR MONEY!😤Over-priced litter box NOTE very self-cleaning.

Contacted Chillx customer support to notify them that my automatic cat litter box was no longer working, and unable for my cat to use, even as a normal litter box. I notified them that the box was used "residentially", as was stated in their warranty, and the team asked many individual questions rather than having me evaluate the potential issue in one go, making the entire resolution process take longer than necessary.The representative tried to offer me a reconditioned (refurbished) unit, after I had purchased a brand new Egg. By June 21st the representative said my option was to return the egg, at my cost. I informed them that was outrageous and I would not pay (as stated on their website) 60-170 additional $.In place of returning the egg, they send me a replacement motor. When replacing the motor (based on their instructional video), I discovered a design flaw. The wire that powers the motor and therefore the cleaning of the egg, was completely severed - by their own designed clamp (unable to be touched by me or my cat.)Since this egg is ~400 brand new, I would expect them to back their own product. Their warranty states you can "return the chillx" within 30 days for any reason, however their 12 month warranty states they will only send you a new egg if there is a "defect". If they design their own product poorly, there is absolutely no reason that the customer needs to shoulder that flaw. Their support team is embarrassingly brief and dismissive of customer concerns. there has been zero empathy displayed from the numerous representatives I have spoken to, and no admittance of fault, even when I showed (The very same) images of the wire being severed. their only answer, given the circumstances, was to send me another (likely defective) product.

Please do not buy the ChillX litter box! I do not like writing bad reviews, and this is probably the first company I've had to do it for. I bought this litter box hoping it would be the solution to never having to scoop litter again, however this product is not it. I waited over a month to receive this product, which I had to email them about before I got it, and then when I set it up (side note: the lid does not fit well at all), it would not scoop the litter properly at all. It only scooped the top layer, and it proved just as messy if not more so than a regular litter box and even more difficult to clean when I was getting it ready to send back. I had to email them to get the shipping label (keep the box it comes in if you do order it) and go to FedEx to send it back. Then I am informed in the email that it will take 15-30 business days for me to get my refund on top of the time it will take for them to evaluate the product and my bank to process it. So basically, I waited over a month to receive a faulty product, and now I have to wait 2 months to get my money back. Their excuse for this exorbitant amount of time is that their staff is limited because of Covid-19. I'm not buying their product or excuses, and you shouldn't either! PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

This Product is not good in all!We got one for our cat, but the cat got so scared with all the light inside, the control panel is inside the unit so you can’t use it unless you take off the cover which is not easy to do it, the control panel is the worst you ever seen, not adapted with the new technology and without Wi-Fi to be able to control it by your phone, so you have to do everything manually in the way to keep the unit, the waste bowl is very small and there is not way to adapt bags to make the cleaning easier and since doesn’t have Wi-Fi there is not way to know when your cat uses it. So basically you paid lots of money for a fancy cat litter that doesn’t work in all, and the worst part is that you can not return it and get your money back. We just throw away more than 300 dollars. I am so disappointed with this product!

Product broke in less than a month.I bought a refurbished unit so I'm just out the full price. Didn't expect it to break so quickly and have customer service be so unhelpful.Cat peed on the rake, became a nightmare to take the unit apart and clean. The plastic rake BENT because the cats pee on top of it. Rake ever realigned, won't snap back on completely and now it just falls off when going to clean. Litter and pee/poop get stuck behind the rake and it's a nightmare to clean. DO NOT BUY.I have a feeling reviews are being paid for because you end up changing out the bin once a day because it fills up so quickly.

My unit came without a waste basket in it! There’s no customer service phone number to call, so they say to use email. I did with no response. Next step is to dispute it with my credit card. Unit is unusable without it.

Worst experience ever. I bought a "refurbished" device that did not work and they DO NOT disclose that there are no refunds on refurbished devices so I had to pay to ship the defective device back to them to get a replacement device. The replacement device also did not work. The only solutions they provided me were to watch generic youtube videos. This was a huge waste of money and waste of time. Extremely disappointed in this company and their products and customer service.

LESS THAN 1 STAR!!! (Won't let me do that though) I cannot believe how awful this company and their product is.... I had to fix everything on the AutoEgg the moment it got here, and it still doesn't work properly. Rather than picking up the cat droppings, it smears it across the bottom of the box leaving an awful smell in the house. Customer service refuses to work with you on getting your money back when their product doesn't work, instead they want to send you another one (uh, no thanks! Not worth the headache)... I do not recommend them or this product at all.

The egg broke down after a year and you have to keep buying parts for the the price it’s not worth it. If they gave you a discount code for part replacement I would be happy with that but they don’t even do that.
