A good size specialized pet store, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff and lots of pet everything - please see the pictures. I spoke to Kevin and he was very happy to assist and knowledgeable - pleasure to talk to. Doggie self-wash is available, also there's a kiosk to make pet IDs on the spot.

Staffs are all friendly, the park lot is wide enough I think. They carry almost all of people need including medicines. If you join the membership, they’ll send you mails for the short term discount sale events.

Very clean and organized warehouse space. I liked their huge selections of high quality dog kibble. They also have a slew of cbd products for dogs which I found helpful.Employees are well educated on the products they carry and ample parking. I will go back to this location.

This shop needs to improve upon their customer service. On my visit today, a young White girl (employee) at the registrar (11/23) was rude when I purchased my cat product items. When she asked me if I had been registered as a customer there on their system, to which I responded I did not, she snarked at me, and proceeded to shove me my items, without a single "Thank you", and handed me the receipt with a really rude expression on her face.This show that although this shop offers a wide range of pet products, they definitely need to improve on better training their employees. Disappointed that I used to come by here and there to buy some of my pet supplies when I was in the area -- I will not be returning ever again to this shop! Would not recommend!There is a Petco within a mile from Centinela, and would much rather be buying my pet supplies there or from Amazon!

Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies works for me. The staff is always polite. The store is always clean. The other K9's and their 2 legged companions that shop there are mostly polite as well. The bathtub rental to scrub the fur is nice and clean. They have aprons to wear to help stay dry. That is if the people done take them off. It's funny people forget they are wearing them drying their K9. I'm guilty of it too. Good people, clean place with nice atmosphere. The Shogun loves it, so we go.

The store always has cheerful employees, I love coming to Centinela. They have a great frozen cat food selection. This time I got a recommendation for litter and am liking it a lot better.

UPDATE: 1➡️5Denell is AWESOME. She made me want to come back. I called for a cone for my dog and she was so kind and friendly. She answered the phone and I could feel her smile. She went and got the prices, sizes and different kinds of the cones that I needed. Then when I came in to pick it up- she recognized me and continues the good customer service. I will start coming back to this location because of her.Terribly customer service!!!! Absolutely horrible, it’s a shame to see young people treat anyone so rudely. Namely Ashley and the security guard- there was one other young gal there a few days prior who was so rude to me that I walked out without paying. Don’t think I’ll be shopping here anymore. Petco, petsmart, target, Amazon- you’ll be getting my business if this keeps up.

I shop here for my cats. The appreciate their staff and they have great products. Some prices are competitive with Amazon, which is why I choose to go here. Plus nothing beats the conversation about cats, dogs, and other animals. :-) plus if you're looking to adopt Saturdays they have cats and kitty adoption.

I usually have a good experience at this location. I moved to Santa Monica but continue to shop at West LA. I called before I came in to ask about the hours. I arrived at 5:35 pm. I am a very busy essential worker and wanted to wash my short haired 18 lb jack Russell/chi mix. The cashier said they take the last wash at 5:30. She also questioned who I spoke to. I didn’t think I had to ask for a name! I felt she could have asked upper mgmt for an exception, I would have been done by 6 which was the closing time. Very Disappointed.They aren’t the friendliest people either. I’ve been frequenting your business for over 30 yrs. Healthy Spot is competitive with prices and the staff is so friendly , I use them for daycare. I may now shop there after this experience during COVID..Just thought you should know.Thank you!

Have been going here for my dogs food and treat needs ! Staff is always friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. They also have a great selection to choose from and are willing to hold items for you until you come in to pick them up. I highly recommend going here for your pet supply needs!

Great customer service. I'm always greeted when I enter the store and asked if I need help at least 2x, but it's usually a good mount rather than a pestering amount. I found out that they don't sell dog treat bags (?!) that can be really helpful when training your dog (like a belt or across the body treat bag) not do they carry Iams cat food and some other more general brands. Prices are a bit high, but I guess that's to be expected in a brick and mortar store in LA. Nice to support a local company (I think?) rather than the big chains (PetSmart or PetCo).

Been coming here for years. They have a huge selection of healthy cat and dog food. HUGE selection of toys!! Prices range from average to expensive depending on your budget. The staff is friendly, welcoming you and offering to help you find that particular something. They will assist you to your car. Even load your car and return the cart for you. They do have pet adoptions, vaccinations, teeth cleaning and training... periodically. Inquire within for details

Good pet store that has decent prices and very good selection. They have raw food, baked kibble and regular kibble. They also have wet food for both dogs and cats. It's more of a high end store as they don't really carry supermarket brands. The one really nice thing about the store is the people who work there will always be willing to get large bags of food and bring them to the cash register and then take them to your car for you and load them in your trunk.

Store is well organized and questions are answered thoroughly and helpfully and the employees seem to have a deep knowledge of pets, their health issues and the products the store sells as we as what is best for the customer's needs. I highly recommend this store for pet owners who care about their animals!!

This review is only reporting the staffs on duty at 01/03/2021 in the afternoon. There’s a long line of people checking out and there is only one cashier actively working. Many other staffs saw the long line and just walk by. Waited 15 minutes in the line until checkout.

The customer service here is incredible. I don't use that word often, but it's accurate for this place. Also, it's hard to beat the prices, the place is always organized and clean, and they carry the healthiest animal food and supplies around.

I love how helpful they are and very educated on different animals (yes animals because I have 5 different kinds) they go out of their way to make sure you are buying the right product and it’s very affordable. Cheaper then online which I won’t be using to purchase my pets food

This place has a real good verity of pet food, the staff members appear to be knowledgeable on their products and they are friendly but not overly friendly which was a plus for me. This place is good to find real good quality healthy choices for your loved fury ones..! Highly recommend.
