I wish all businesses were like Cats & Dogs. They take such amazing care of their clients. In my case an elderly toy poodle. They never try to sell me anything I don’t need. Truly and personalized experience and caring service. A gift to the neighborhood to have a business like this!

It’s our first time here and my doggo came out so fluffy! It took a little over 3 hours but it was nice that there’s parking and such. This place is closer than the usual place I go to so hoping we can continue on here! You need to add tip before they charge your credit card or just give cash.

Took my senior tabby cat to get her nails trimmed for the first time and I’m happy that the staff was very welcoming and patient with her. I’m definitely coming back to this location. Love the service, prices, and it’s great that they have plenty of parking. (:

I can't recommend this truly local pet shop enough. Gary helped us out when our poor pup broke his nail and was in a lot of pain, but we couldn't get in at a vet in short notice. He's a hero!

I've been coming here for over a year to get my two small dogs nails trimmed and I'll never go anywhere else! Gary and everyone who works here are incredible and make my nervous dogs feel as calm as possible. My friend gets her elderly cat groomed here as well, they do a wonderful job and are so kind and gentle with all animals.

My mom and I buy our dog and cat's food from this place! Our dog also gets grooming done here too and the staff are super attentive and have outstanding customer service skills! A bit pricey but since our four legged friends do us right, we should do them right too!

My dog is honestly very aggressive towards people other than his family. however, the groomers at cats and dogs are super professional and also kind! Sparky the dog has been there maybe a dozen times and always comes back looking very fly. If you ask for a particular hair cut, they deliver! They also sell dog food and treats in the store which is great.

I bring my dogs there for grooming. Edgar and Dino groom my Brussels Griffins and sometimes my cat. They always do a wonderful job. Not to sound like the Allstate guy but I feel like they’re in good hands and that’s important to me. Staff are always friendly too.

Great store with friendly and knowledgable staff. Gary, the owner is great and happens to also be a vet tech at a local vet, so he knows his stuff. The groomers are so nice and really love the dogs they work on. The ladies behind the desk are always tremendously helpful, too. 5/5 definitely recommend.

I went to this store a month ago and I fell in love with it. The owner of the store “Gary” took care of my dog Luc and the sales girl sold me a bunch of things that helped with my dogs needs! I highly recommend this place, it’s small and they have just what you need. The service is impeccable and nowadays to be greeted with a smile when you walk in the door of a establishments rare!

Went in to have my 4 month old Yorkie pup bathed and groomed. The guy groomer was rude and impatient from the get go. Seemed upset that I asked what type of cut he recommended. Then when I showed him a picture of what kind of hair cut I wanted he still seemed unsure. The kennels and surrounding area that the dogs go into are filthy. I asked if I could hold the puppy until he was ready for it instead of putting it into one of the filthy kennels but he refused. I was told that the groomers were independent contractors. Cats and dogs should not allow groomers to use the space with these type of horrible people skills.

I really like the people here, but the Zignature here is almost $20 more than other pet stores. I thought maybe the price of it just went up, but then called around and others are selling the big bag of Turkey for $77 and it's $95 here! AHHH! I went right back inside but they wouldn't take the return for a smaller bag. Bummer

I’ve been bringing my boy King here for awhile now and they always take great care of him. He’s always happy when I come get him so I know they’re good to him. Cute store in front with lots of goodies. Highly recommend.

This is the only place we will take our beloved pooch to get groomed - we love the entire staff and trust them with our dog implicitly. Between the Village Vet just steps away and Cats & Dogs, the corner of Hyperion & Rowena is the pet friendliest place in Los Angeles!

This place is weird. I called to schedule an appointment and was told immediately, “we don’t accept walk ins.” Well, that’s cool to hear. First of all, I called. I wasn’t dropping in or walking in. I’m calling on a phone LOL.I was calling to schedule an appointment but with the incompetent and condescending lady answering the phone - I wouldn’t trust to bring my animals to this establishment.

We have a 15 year old shih tzu with anxiety and quite a few health problems, and Cats & Dogs has become our go-to. This place is absolutely amazing in making accommodations when we take Petunia to get groomed, and they have excellent communication with us throughout the process. Cannot recommend enough!

My second time coming and I went to take my Chester in to get his nails clipped for $15 and they came out looking the same, you still heard his nails when he walked and I didn’t want to sound rude and ask them to cut them more so now I have to take him somewhere else and pay again. They do have a lot of shampoos and conditioners though so that’s cool.

All the employees are so welcoming and nice! I've tried going to other dog groomers since I moved out of town a few years ago, but nothing compares to the attention and detail they go into making all my dogs looking fab. I always try to go here whenever I'm in the area and the dogs need a new hairdids.

I love this place. Everyone is always so helpful as soon as I walk in. Their prices are competitive with the big chains, and I prefer supporting small local businesses. They only carry pet food that is actually good for your pets, so I feel like they care about the quality of the products they sell. This is not the place to go if you want your pick of 4000 chew toys. This is where you go, if you want to feel good about your choices and the quality of your purchases.
