I have been taking my dog to Bone Sweet Bone since they opened in 2015, and even though I moved outside of LA, I always bring my dog there for boarding or daycare when I'm in LA. I recently dropped off my dog for 1 night of boarding, but when I picked her up, she was SOAKED in dog urine. She was soaked from head to toe, as if a dog marked on her and no one noticed, causing other dogs to pee all over her. I thought it was strange that she was shivering in a corner when they sent me a video, and I'm wondering if that's why. Sure, a little marking happens sometimes, but she was soaked to the point that it's obvious no one was paying attention, or didn't care. The staff should have separated her and given her a bath when they noticed the problem, but instead they handed her off to me totally soaked. I was shocked because I never had a bad experience at this place. They offered me 20% off my next service, but I won't be going back after it's clear my dog was neglected by staff. I asked for a refund and they made it right by refunding my money, so I gave 3 stars instead of 2. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. They have lost me as a customer.

I love Bone Sweet Bone. I bring my dog to daycare here on a weekly basis. The staff is so sweet and helpful and genuinely cares about the dogs. They're like extended members of my dog's family now. She feels very much at home there, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a daycare spot. The grooming and shop here are great as well.

This spot is close to home, right over bridge into Arts District. They have a tiny lot that allows you to drop off and pick up your pup! Great service and timing. Check them out!

I absolutely LOVE Bone Sweet Bone and so does my pooch Sookie Sookie Now! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the groomers whom I’ve never met always send Sookie home with a great cut! Affordable, clean, cute shop in DTLA.

When my dog had diarrhea they actually helped clean up his butt before he was picked up as opposed to other daycare places like dogdrop! Above n beyond service. Workers are also super friendly.

The lady at the counter wirh really long hair is very rude in the way she explains stuff assuming that we all know what she does. There was people there and she was trying to embarrass me so I got confused and pick a very short length for my dog. If she knows what's the best why can she suggest it ? My dog ended up with a very bad haircut it didn't even looked even, thank God my dog is pretty and pulled it off but I'm never coming back to that place.

We take our dog here to get bother. Very affordable and they take care of him for up to 4 hours after they are done so you kind of get a little daycare out of it.

I'm able to get early grooming appointments for my Charlie. I really appreciate being able to drop him off before going to work. I'm happy with how well Charlie is cared for. Since bringing him to Bone Sweet Bone, he has not had ear infections due to water getting into his ears. They do a really good job of protecting his ears by putting enough cotton on them. This may not sound like a big deal, but it is to me since Vet visits due to ear infections can be pricey.

Every time I pick my pup Ace up from their groomer, he's so happy and he's never looked cuter! I've gotten used to inconsistent and funny haircuts for my golden doodle, but with Bone Sweet Bone, he looks perfect! Also, they're reasonably priced and open great hours! Highly recommend, especially if you have a golden doodle needing grooming!

Used to love this place. But my dog was attacked here by another dog. They tried to make it seem like my dog started the fight, but after going through the security footage it was clear that he did not. Regardless, my dog was quarantined and then kicked out. It’s just disappointing because 1. he was defending himself and 2. they just immediately accused my dog of being the aggressor. But after 10 minutes of going through the video frame by frame, they finally confessed that the other dog was instigating, had been for the last two days, and bit my dog in the face. Super unprofessional. And then when I try to take him back there months later, after thinking everything is resolved, they deny him. A shame.

We've used Bone Sweet Bone for short half/full day care needs as well as boarding. The team is always so great and really takes your dog's needs seriously.We recently boarded our 9 month old Shiba Inu, Simon, for 5 nights when we went out of state and we had a great experience. The staff was super nice when we called to check in on him and Kathy sent us regular updates over text including photos and videos. It really helped put us at ease to know that he was eating well and having fun playing with the other pups.I would definitely recommend Bone Sweet Bone to anyone in the area, I can't wait for them to open up again for Sundays!

I leave my dog Pepper here for daycare and have also boarded her here on several occasions when I leave town. The staff is all so lovely and true dog people. You can tell that they actually care about the dogs! They are also very reasonably priced for such good care! Highly recommend

I'm very attached to my baby and find it extremely hard to trust someone I don't know with him. Especially, when I'm going on vacation. Luckily, my husbands friend recommended bone sweet bone to us. Walking in, I felt like this was the environment I was looking for. They're super friendly, gentle, and it's literally like a hotel. The doggies have an outside, inside where they hang out and while the beds are located upstairs, everything is on site.. wonderfuly ventilated. The grooming department is awesome. It's a bit on the pricey side...Being away from my baby and knowing he's in a good place, is worth it. Special thanks to Santiago and his awesome team.

I take my dog here for grooming. It is the best I used to go to petsmart and they couldn't even remember how they cut my dog even though I would request the same groomer. I go here and I don't even have to tell them they just say same cut and when they call me later my little fur child is perfect and smells divine....and if anything is not perfect they fix it. Just amazing!!

AMAZING PLACE...!!!haircut, shower and nails for a 10lbs dog for less than $65.My buddy looks adorable. I'll be back a lot more times from now on. I wanna try the daycare and training.Oh and staff is INCREDIBLE... you can literally see their love for animals in their care and service.Simply put, the best experience we've ever had.

I take my two girls here anytime I go out of town, they love it! They play all day in a safe environment and get to socialize and run around and much as they can stand. They’re always excited to get there and look happy when I pick them up! And then pass out as soon as we get home! I feel comfortable and confident with bone sweet bone and will continue bringing my girls there in the future!

IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG DO NOT BRING THEM HERE! I picked up my dog to find her with HEMORRHAGES IN BOTH EYES after grooming & daycare! I asked what happened and of course the answer was NOTHING! Immediately took my dog to vet and they notified me it was caused by being tethered too tight and essentially CHOKING HER!! To hear that she was choked to the point of SIGNIFICANT HARM TO HER EYES MAKES ME SO UPSET & DISGUSTED!! Also THE OWNER HIMSELF MENTIONED HE GROOMED MY DOG HIMSELF!! How can anyone trust this place with their fur baby!!!!

Boarding is great. Our pup loves to visist and stay. They love animals and each pleasant interaction with employees adds to why we love this place! They do grooming as well and if u setup an rsvp, they can groom him and board at pickuo.

RUN DON'T WALK FROM THIS PLACE!!! I took my HEALTHY Miniature Maltese (6.8lbs)here on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 for the first time to test the waters. When I picked him up he was coughing and barely breathing!!! I left to retrieve my car and took a closer look at Rye and returned to ask what happened. Nobody knew anything. But somebody knows something. I took him directly to the animal hospital for care. He has a sub-mandibular cyst at the base of his tongue and now his tongue is hanging on the side of his mouth. The side of his head and neck is tender, eye are shut and swollen--all indicative of blunt force trauma, kick, or choking. His snout is swollen. The top of his skull is bruised. No one called to inform me! Why would they if a person may have injured him. No small do can do this much damage.Everybody knows Rye. My dog doesn't bite, he is a companion dog that sits with elderly people, he walks 3-4 miles a day and he is a super chill art-dog. Today, I learned that many residents are complaining the number of injuries happening at this place and about their lack of accountability for a dog that came missing dog while in their care.Whoever kicked, choked or hit my 6lb dog, Santiago Ramirez you won't hear the last of it. Bone Sweet Bone won't last DTLA. People are angry.
