This review is for the deli and bakery areas. We had a 90th birthday party for our dad last weekend so we ordered party trays and cakes for the event. The woman at the deli, I'm sorry but I did not catch her name but she had an accent, was so helpful when I was placing the order, and Angela at the bakery was also very thorough in making sure the cakes would look exactly as we wanted. We purchased sandwich trays, multiple salads, fruit/cheese tray, veggie tray, and a condiment tray, and the 3 cakes.Everything was ready for us as promised, and the food was delicious. There were more people at the party than RSVP'd and still there was plenty of food for the occasion. Thank you so much!

I dont normally shop here but came in for something. As soon as we walked in the employees couldn't stop saying how cute my little girl is and were so nice. They gave her a purple balloon to match her purple shirt and she was soooo happy it made my heart melt! I must have looked lost which I totally was haha so another employee offered to help & I must say I was surprised because grocery store employees don't normally OFFER to help, I usually have to track someone down. So that was nice that someone was available & aware.

I think I have had it with Vons one bad experience after another.Seems I bought the 2 for $5.00 berriesNotI bought organic berries 2 for $9.98Now why are they mixed together the sign said 2 for $5.00And honestly I didn't notice until the Store manager pointed it when I called.Now this is misleading the customer.And I am done.

Quick and easy to shop, good bakery and meats. Has most brands and is relatively cheap and isn't too crowded and has good parking.

I go to Vons only to buy my most favourite bread - Signature select Nut&Grain - which i don’t get elsewhere. Found large and good quality avocados at stellar price of 65 cents each.

Website lists ice packs but none in store, walked all the aisles three times and couldn't find any. No employees around except a couple at the cash registers that were busy.

Always has what I'm looking for and is kept fully stocked on a regular basis. Vegetable and fruit section looks fresh. Aisles are clean and orderly. This Vons seems to get complaints mainly because of unfriendly staff, but have not experienced this myself. Charging station in parking lot is convenient for those with electric vehicles. But not sure if they charge to charge.

Very nice store, somewhat lower traffic due to distance away from major roads, smaller store.Employees who don't like hectic work go to this spot, a few senior managers had wound down busy careers and made retirements from there.I prefer Seal Beach Pavilions, but this is great if I don't want to make the travel to the shore.

A little older than some of the other Vons stores in the area, but a good shopping experience. The best part was the cashier in the express lane who was super nice and chatty and wore some festive gear to make people smile as soon as they came in the door.We went in for one thing we had seen in the store 3 years ago and luckily they still stock it although we did get the last one!

Nice vons. The employees are usually pretty helpful, at least when you can track one down. The store is usually well stocked and they have a great deli. I usually choose the self checkout it just seems to go faster. Overall no real complaints. A nice convenient neighborhood location.

Great store, sometimes they're out of stock with some products I'm usually buying. Anyway love going there, everything is always fresh and smells good even in the meet and fish department 🙂

It was my first time at this store. It was on the smaller size but they had fully stocked shelves and friendly staff. They don't carry Vegan cakes though they do carry major Vegan brands.

Bless the Beautiful Community That Thieves In This Neighborhood! I was Limited Funds, and Separated my Transactions into Two... Things I Really Needed and Items I Wanted. Want and Need Two Totally Different Importance/Significants. Though the Transactions Took Longer Than Normal, I Graciously Apologized To The Line That Quickly Developed Behind me, and When it Became Obvious I was Short the Difference People Humbly Offered to Pay the Difference!!! My Heart was Overwhelmed with the Selflessness of the Community, I Couldn't Dare Accept a Cent From AnyOne, and Quickly Paid My Transactions With What Available Funds I Did Have. But I'll Never Forget The Beautiful Community That Practices, "Paying It Forward" Do a Good Deed, And Hope They Help Others and Think Back To How Someone, Once Helped Them/you.... Every Community Should Learn From This Remarkable Location. And Quickly Adopt The Practices this Greatful Community Practices! ❤️‍🔥

The inventory in this store is extremely limited. From nutritional food bars, to canned beverages and more, there aren't many choices compared to other Von's locations where we have shopped. That has always been my complaint about this Von's. While convenient, their lack of inventory requires me to make an additional stop at Sprouts or Target nearby. Sometimes I go to the other places first and just skip Vons entirely, which becomes their loss not mine.

I had to pick up a few things tonight and there were some things on sale at Vons so I pulled in. I got everything except one item which was a buy 1 get 1 free item. They only had one item left so I took it to the checker with my other things and suggested he simply cut the price in half because he only had 1 out of the 2 items available. He sent someone to check to see if there were more and there were not so he simply put it through at the regular price and told me it was taken care of. As I walked away I glanced at my receipt which showed that I was charged full price for the item at hand. I asked about it and was told, "Well, we only had one so I had to charge you the full price. I replied, "I understand but I don't want it at full price so I'd like to return it." I was promptly told that they were not taking returns at this time because of the pandemic. I pointed to my cart which was one check stand away, reminded him that I had not yet left the store, and I was charged an incorrect price. He couldn't care less and turned away. I asked to speak to a manager. Another checker called. I explained the situation to the manager who took my item and refunded it to me in full. He then handed me this item and apologized for the way the situation was handled and that he would talk with the checker. I told him that I understood that everyone is on edge these days, including myself, and he agreed but at the same time he said, "There's no reason for poor customer service. All he had to do was call me and I would have told that him to give you the item at half price." That manager handled it professionally and made sure that he did everything he could to encourage me to come back... which I will!

Their sales are so confusing that they don't understand them. 3 items, that were supposed to be on sale, showed up at a higher price on our receipt.

Most people here are nice. But. When it's time to get a money order, the ones in charge of handling them get an immediate attitude like it's a hassle to have to do their job, especially during these times. Just take the time to head down to Ralph's by the 405, they are much friendlier and nicer about it. And quicker. If you need a money order at Vons, be ready to wait more than 10 minutes and get ready to receive the biggest attitude.

Excellent customer Service and excellent selection. Prices are very good as well. No complaints! Also manager is very respectful and knows what he’s doing! The bakery manager, Ian Vann is a great employee, and always cooks my bagels for me! Very fresh!

Well stocked. Friendly staff. Plenty of Organics brand foods without the high cost. Intimate store so everything is easy to find. Good rewards with the Vons app. Surprised to find no lines on a weekend afternoon.

Kudos to Lorenzo especially who helped me to correct my own mistake with not downloading the correct digital coupons I needed. Also, he and a couple of other associates, (I should have gotten their names😥) helped me to find some of the sales items. I really appreciate their help! Thanks Everyone!

Horribly slow at registers. It has always been slow but today only one register for "express checkout " and one for regular checkout. No communication whatsoever from cashier when 5 or 6 people in line before me at express checkout and machine broke or stop working and changed registers without informing us. So frustrating when other customers started going to other line and me and others just stood there waiting to be helped.

Alot of the pricing is on the expensive side but they do have a good discount bakery section. It's always clean and most of the staff is friendly and helpful. Wear your mask when coming though, some of the other customers don't wear masks or wear them improperly but they do keep sanitizer around.

I love this little store. Neighborhood feel, kind customer service. Where everyone knows you and treats you like family.They are very accommodating if they don't normally carry something you would like even with their limited space.An enjoyable atmosphere

I gave this store a five star rating because it's open till 2 a.m. and since I am a night owl, I like to shop when there are not too many people out. I feel that I need to change my rating for this store since it is now no longer opened until 2 am. Last Saturday night I went there a little after 1 am and the store was closed and had a sign saying that it closes at 1 am. And on their app, it still shows that they close at 2 am, 7 days a week. I guess someone decided to change the hours but did not follow through with making sure the internet also reflected the new hours.

Michelle the manager of the deli is absolutely amazing! She went over and above to make sure I was happy! Michael in the deli her trusted right hand treated me like family. Michale went out of his way to insure I come back to Vons before any other deli. Love you guys

Vons is a great grocery store which is always clean and the carry a large variety of items, including ready made food, deli, hot items, and a great variety of alcohol and beer. Great place to shop if you need just an item or two, or you have a coupon for something, because on the whole, it will cost you more to shop here. Sometimes it's worth the trade off for the convenience, tho
