We love Loomis Bed and Biscuit. I appreciate that they require a meet & greet, evaluation, and (complimentary) half day before accepting your dog to the LBB family. My dog Turkey can a bit nervous and sometimes needs a slower introduction to warm up to high energy dogs or strangers. But LBB not only separates dogs based on size, but also energy level. Although my dog was nervous entering the facility his first time, he instantly loved all the staff. And now he happily enters the building and is a happy pup when I pick him up. I also genuinely appreciate that they accept dogs based on their behavior, and not just their breed š

Iāve been taking Addie (my Australian Shepherd) to Bed and Biscuit for several months. Jason, Logan and the other team members at B&B are absolutely the best. They provide dog daycare services and Addie is so happy playing there 3/4 days a week. I trust them 100% with Addie.

From Logan to the rest of the staff, what a class group of people. I board my cat when I travel and he has some serious medical issues, but the staff is fantastic when it comes to taking care of him. Highly recommended!

My Golden Retreiver LOVES coming to Loomis Bed & Biscuit! He gets to play with dogs his size all day while I'm at work. This facility is set up well! Big dogs with big dogs and small dogs with small dogs. They have a great outdoor area for them to run and play and inside is a big open area where he plays as well! I Like the fact that they screen every animal before they are accepted, so my sweet Golden Retreiver doesn't have to deal with aggressive dogs! The staff greets me with a smile everytime I come in. I occationally have him boarded overnight and its really comforting to know someone is there overnight with him. He doesn't have to be in a kennel overnight until someone gets there in the morning like alot of other boarding facilities do. I can't say enough good things about this place or the staff! My dog comes home "happy tired" and can't wait to go back the next day! From one picky dog owner to the next I highly recommend this place!

I have used Loomis Bed & Biscuit many times for doggie day care. I recently boarded my senior girl for 13 days! Loomis Bed & Biscuit took great care of her, texting me pictures and reassuring me she was doing well. After I picked her up, she settled right down, not stressed at all other than barking at me a few times to give me a piece of her mind! šš I highly recommend Loomis Bed & Biscuit for day care and boarding.

I took my 13-year-old Golden retriever there for a weeks stay, which in the beginning was completely terrifying. All you can do is hope, that strangers you just met, will treat your animals, your loved one with care and compassion. When I called throughout the week they were always overly helpful, even sent me pictures of my dog with smiles on his face, and being treated wonderfully. Couldnāt be happier with them.

Aunt Cynthia's was a godsend when I needed them most. I had looked at various kennels for my two large dogs (50 and 75 lbs), but did not like the idea of them being kept in a small room or worse, a cage, for my 2-week vacation. Instead, I had a relative come stay at my house. That didn't turn out well when the AC broke in 109F heat and the relative was called into work for the entire 2 weeks. My pups had to sit in blistering heat in their kennels for 9 hours a day until the AC was fixed - which took nearly a week (but that's another review). To top it all off, we had a medical emergency while on vacation and no one could pet-sit for the extra 3 weeks we spent in the hospital.Enter Aunt Cynthia's. I called and let Aunt Cynthia's know my situation and that I was flying home for 1 day, then turning around and flying back to be at the hospital. They were able to get me an evaluation appointment during my availability window and we were set. I was unsure how long I would be gone, so I paid for 2 weeks. It turned out to be 3 - and the staff at Aunt Cynthia's was understanding and made sure I knew how the dogs were doing. When I picked up my dogs, they were excited to see me, but they really just wanted to go back and play with their new "friends". For them, it was like having the comfort of home combined with the fun of a dog park. The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. I feel comfortable leaving my fur children in the care of Aunt Cynthia and her team.

Best environment for your dog. What a great crew and comfortable and fun place to leave your cute one. I've tried other boarding places and our Great Dane never ate all her food, which means stress. Here she not only played kettle free all day and night but ate every meal, every last pebble and was happy and tired from this doggie camp experience. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

We've taken our dog here for years. Cage free. They love dogs and do a great job. They do have specific drop/off and pickup times you have to work around. They work with us on our raw food, and do baths/grooming too. Stable ownership and employees and not too far from the freeway. You might find cheaper places, but Cynthia's is worth it.

If you are a loving responsible pet owner I strongly recommend NOT BRINGING your dog to Aunt Cynthia's Bed and Biscuit. The idea that the dogs are not kept in kennel's and have to pass a test in order to determine that the dogs are well socialized is a great idea. All you have to do is be aware of the risks involved with dogs, and sometimes many of them, being in the same room together. While in their care my dog experienced what Veterinarians call a deep corneal ulcer which can be caused by trauma to a dogs eye. I assume the risk right? The problem was when Aunt Cynthia's staff was unable to identify that something was wrong during their "daily checks" and his eye got extremely infected. This injury can be caused by dogs playing together and one of them getting their eye scratched.Once a dog's eye becomes infected it can fully rupture within a 24 hour time period, Cynthia's staff is not educated enough to pin point this scary injury causing a huge risk to the dogs and the owners wallets. To top it off, if you happen to be even 20 minutes late to pick up your dog they will charge you another day and keep your dog overnight. Well, luckily I had gotten someone to pick him up otherwise he would have stayed another night with a melting cornea. My dog very well could have lost his eye had I not found someone to pick up my dog by 6PM.Like the other review, I too have pulled up to Aunt Cynthia to pickup paperwork and seen only two cars in the parking lot and both employees not in the rooms with the dogs but in the front office talking.I recommend finding and supporting one of the other small town kennel's in Loomis. After countless vet bills and the poor look on my dogs face with the E-collar for an entire month, I can safely say I will not be bringing my dog back to this place.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. We went on a 10 day trip and left Cola here. Our dog is needy-heās anxious and whiney when we leave and often gets stressed to the point of illness when we return. Aunt Cynthiaās was absolutely fantastic for him. He came back happy and healthy and clean. They really exceeded all expectations and then some. I will absolutely be bringing him back!

I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful and kind people at Aunt Cynthias Bed and Biscuit Inn. Having to leave your beloved fur babies someplace is never an easy thing to do but especially for an extended period of time. Every time that I came to visit the litter boxes were perfectly clean, they had fresh water and plenty of food and they even sent me photos of my babies in between my visits. I have complete trust for every staff member that works there. Lindsey is amazing. She went above and beyond to accommodate our situation. I highly recommend Aunt Cynthias Bed and Biscuit Inn for your boarding, grooming and fur baby daycare needs.

Cali has been Bed & Biscuiting with Auntie Cynthia for 7 of her 8+ years. She is not the most social with other dogs but apparently picks her favorite's and manages to have good play times. She is always in a great mood even after a week! Can't think of another place we would trust with our girl.

Let's put it this way, since the change of ownership things have definitely gone downhill. Recently a poor dog that had been loyal to this facility for many years was killed during a dog attack while under "24hr Constant Supervision" (In quotations because that's obviously not the case). It's so heartbreaking to know that a place intended for the care of your animals could let something so terrible like this happen. This most recent pet death, is an echo of the policies, care, and quality that is in place with the new change of ownership. I would look elsewhere for these boarding and daycare services.

My husband was out of state and our Great Dane was being boarded due to me making funeral arrangements for my father. We got an early morning call from Aunt Cynthiaās saying our dog was sick. They explained his symptoms and actually offered to take him to the vet ( for a small fee of $20.00). I did pick him up and took him to the vet. The vet gave him a complete exam, along with blood tests and X-rays....poor pup (actually 4 1/2 years oldš) had Bacterial Pneumonia! And....the vet was SO SURPRISED it was caught so early!!!!How did my kennel know our pup was sick? They KNOW dogs! They know OUR dog. They noticed he wasnāt as active as he should be, and wasnāt excited to meet the morning crew and he JUST started a cough. And donāt worry... he DID NOT pick up this illness at the kennel... he hadnāt been there long enough! Thanks Cynthia! Thanks Justin (manager)..Youāre Great! Thanks Lindsey... for checking up on Thor afterwards! And thanks to the rest of the Kennel Crew!Debbie Mackie, Thorās & Urzaās Mom

Our pup loves this place. He is a shy dog who quickly moved from the little dog room to the couch potato room and then to the "romp and play" room. No kennels here... couches and all day interaction with other dogs. And he comes home exhausted which is a huge plus!

It's been a few years, so I feel safe in writing a review now, but I worked here for about two weeks. At the time I was in school (year 2 of vet tech school) and it seemed perfect. I toured the facility and met a few other staff members. The owner was delightful and so were the staff members so I was overjoyed when they offered me the job.The joy did not last long.My first day I was in a word....appalled. I was led to believe that with the two big rooms on the right as you face the front desk, the little dogs room to the left and the great big room I'd end up calling solitary confinement, that there would be 3 staff members during the day and 2 in the evenings. Wrong. Wrong wrong.I should have resigned that first day. There was a gorgeous year old rottweiler mix who received urine burns to his paws from standing in another dog's urine in the back blue room. There was an elderly dog named Goldie who may or may not have accidentally had her medicine swapped with the Springer Spaniel in solitary, to this day I have no clue if Goldie got her meds, or the SS's meds. Neither did my colleague. It was a nightmare. The only thing that made it better was the happy face that only crossed the dogs faces when I'd come round.I really just couldn't explain then or now how awful it was to be in the belly of that beast. I endured though. Up until I met Rio.Rio was a dog that "everyone hated". He was placed in solitary confinement and only allowed out twice a day. Everyone yelled at him. Everyone hated him. Everyone did their absolute BEST to ignore the hell out of Rio. Everyone except for me.Rio's problem was that he was loud. He had terrible separation anxiety and would bark/howl/cry all day. My own dog has experienced this so I knew exactly what to do. Rio wasn't a PROBLEM DOG, he was a dog who was scared and upset. All he wanted was a human to be next to him. And without deviation, whenever Rio was next to me, he was quiet. So I'd do my rounds and I'd talk to him as loud as I could. It seemed to quiet him down. And when I had time, I'd go stand with him and let him lean on me. That's all he wanted. At night, if he was staying with us I'd secretly take him along with me and he was quiet as a mouse the entire time.I can't remember what kind of dog Rio was, he was white with pretty red/copper spots and one blue eye and one brown eye. He was a scamp. Loved to play and genuinely just wasn't suited to not being around a human. In retrospect, I wish I had contacted Rio's owner before I left. The day I came in and Rio had gone from the dog that howled this deep long wolf like howl to a hoarse, almost chirp and was shying away from people even me was my last day. I don't know what happened to Rio or why he was like that after my weekend, but I suspected my peers. And I couldn't work any place that I even suspected of animal cruelty. Please don't take your dogs here. I wouldn't even let them babysit a potato.

I will be forever grateful to the entire staff at Aunt Cynthias Bed and Biscuit Inn, located in my home town of Loomis. My husband and I lost our home in Magalia, Ca due to the wildfire in Butte County, I had been staying with a family member iin Auburn, and my little dog Bogey was not a desired guest, I was needing a safe, friendly, and caring boarding facility, I had remembered seeing their review some time ago, I called them to find out information explaining our evacuation, and loss of our home, and they immediately said yes, bring him in, what really caught my eye was no crates, that information relieved my stress level,When I went in, the building was so darn cute and welcoming, that also made me feel good, then in their front desk/lobby area, I was greeted with so much empathy, regarding our situation, well my Bogey had a blast, I would call every other day to check on him, and was told he was enjoyed by the staff, and was having fun, well again, my stress level got even better, it gave me a good feeling about his care, so we could concentrate in locating temporary housing, I needed them to keep him a bit longer, being in a cramped motel was not good for us or Bogey, and they were very understanding. It was time to pick up Bogey about 7 days later, they even trimmed his nails and gave him a bath before my arrival, I got my debit card to pay them for the stay, and they said , No Charge, well hugs and tears came, I was stunned with the love, compassion, and kindness to me and my Bogey.Thank you to everyone at Aunt Cynthias Bed and Bisquit, when we move to Roseville in January, you will always be close to my heart, and will see you again, PS, Bogey cried when we left, he did not want to leave,Regards, Linda Graham and Bogey

As an outside contractor working on their amazing facility, you can be assured these animals are very well cared for, 24 hours a day, its comforting knowing your dog can sit on the floor, or one of many couchs and watch TV with other dogs, super clean enviroment.
