Store is small. Could use more natural and organic/premium options. Checkout is endless frustration. The first self checkout stand on the right has a payment console that breaks often. I had to re scan all my items. Apple pay doesn't work for all cards. A sympathetic look and explanation from the cashier isn't a sufficient response. This is not a bank issue as it works everywhere else. Get a system that works for all cards from all banks or stop using apple pay. This isn't an amex or exotic card. A visa from a huge national bank needs to work or your work as a retailer isn't done.

This store is always clean and neatly stocked. Veggies and fruits were fresh. The staff are nice and helpful too. I had a taste for ramen noodles tonight and found some in the store. Their floral and plant department is my favorite. The prices is less expensive compared to other places that sell plants. Of course you can get additional discounts on food and gasoline by signing up with them.

Terrible costumer service, I have to wait 30 mins for the fried chicken. Employees seldom help me out and make me wait too long for any help i get. Never shop here unless you want your time wasted.

Me and my wife shop here all the time. And the young gentlemen Antwon always helped me save money in the deli department with the ads ! Initially I thought he didn’t work here anymore until I ran into him on the sales floor after being rudely brushed off by another employee when I asked how do I set up my vons app for just for you! An as he did in the deli Antwon helped me set up my app and taught me how to use the app! Made my visit more easier ! Thank you young man!

Always clean and stocked , workers are decent and welling to help if/when you ask for it …. They’ll even pull the head of that department to double check. There are one or two bad apples but over all great workers … I personally prefer self check out out 3:4 the individual will help me check out my alcohol there is that one woman that will have me go all the way back in line to check out the alcohol refusing to do any extra work that’s the only reason why it’s a four star but over all great staff …

I bought 5 items and 3 of them were with a discount 50%. Cashier missed to scan discount for 2 items.Likely, I checked the receipt, and everything was solved on place immediately.Everything else was fine. Clean and bright place.

I hate this vons. The lines move super slow, and its been like this for years! They always have only 1 checker or maybe 2 even when its super busy. Would it kill them to hire a few more people???? The skeleton crew mess needs to end. Its terrible.

Horrible Store!. 1 register open. So buying 1 bottle alcohol I have to wait 30 min:-( How come Trader Joe's can afford 6 register to be open?? Never Again VONS. Horrible Manager on Duty walks around but he could not operate a register??

There’s a male worker on Wednesday mornings maybe 23-27 years of age Latino he wears a ponytail with a hat and I believe glasses . I was looking for pedialyte for my sick puppy and I asked if he could help . I said I’m not sure if I’m over looking it or if it’s not I’m stock right now . He then said if it’s not there we don’t have it . I said again it could be possible I over looked it can u check on the product for me ? He repeated hisself and just walked off . I thought his customer service was really poor and rude I was already in distress from a dying puppy

Associates are hard to find and not interested in helping. When I asked about an advertised product I was told they had it in the back but it was on a pallet and too hard to get for me. Of course no manager was available since he or she was at lunch. This was my first visit to Vons and I can't see a reason to return.

I love this branch, it’s management & staff, but come on guys it’s 9pm on Saturday and only 2 lines open at such a busy time!!!! we always get stuck on lines here. Yes, waiting doesn’t last forever but for a busy locating like this you guys better recalculate. Well I guess 3s is not a crowed anymore!!!

I was at this location tonight, at approximately 9:45 pm. While in line my husband and I observed a customer who was in front of us get belittled and berated by a cashier. The cashier’s name is Liz (I asked her for her name because she wasn’t wearing a name tag). The customer was disabled and had decided against purchasing some items and he clearly had difficulty communicating that. The cashier told him she didn’t know he didn’t want those items, and he apologized and she proceeded to say “until I’m a mind reader how would I know you didn’t want those things”, to which he apologized over and over about, all the while she kept berating him and then she abruptly stepped away while he was still standing there. This customer looked over at us and we were so taken aback by this exchange that as a customer myself I told this other customer it was okay, and that she was horrible, he then walked away looking confused and embarrassed. As he walked away she then walked back to the register and rang our items up, her demeanor was that of still being annoyed and that’s when I asked her for her name. There was another employee there, by the name if Haydee, she was bagging items and she was very friendly, it was clear that whole exchange was uncomfortable for her too, as stated she was very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I left the store feeling completely disgusted by having witnessed that exchange and feeling terrible for that other customer. Someone needs to look into this issue and needs to address it. To treat a customer poorly is unacceptable, but it was beyond that, she was abusive towards a disabled customer and that’s another level of customer mistreat. This employee clearly was not concerned about jeopardizing her job, because we were not the only ones in line, there were other customers behind us too and the cashier was being quite loud (hence, why it caught our attention). I think it’s fair to say if Liz has no problem mistreating customers in front of other customers, then it’s quite likely it’s something she regularly does. Why would she go out of her way to mistreat a customer when her job requires the complete opposite of that? I get sometimes we all have bad days, but even that doesn’t justify this cashier’s actions as they were completely abusive. We got home and I attempted calling the corporate number, however, they close by 10:00 pm pst., so I was unable to reach someone. I would very much appreciate it if a manager from the store got in contact with me because this can’t go unaddressed. Thank you.

There was a customer freak out incident. I avoided it but did catch a glimpse of the security guard doing everything to de-escalate. Once customer left I made my way back to the front, completed check out and walked passed this man as I left..”have a wonderful day” he said. So professional, calm. As others left awkwardly he handled each encounter with poise. Came on here to say props to you sir, whoever you are.

I go here to this Vons for the Sushi!!! it's amazing!!!!! I'm allergic to avocados so I have to get them made directly from the chef to have some without avocados and he makes it for me when I catch him there. It's the only Sushi I eat.

Fruit is never good. I always come here for little things but the prices have gone up quite a bit since the changeover from Pavilions. Seriously beware the fruit. Every pink pineapple was rotten and I had to return it to get a refund.

Appalling lack of customer service, eleven people waiting to check out, including elderly person with walker and heavy bags, one lane open, self-serve check out machines instead of people, manager's response inadequate, employees mouthing "thank you" when hearing customer complaints about lack of open lanes, employee said Von's keeps cutting hours....hire people, give them full-time schedules! Shifting to Ralph's--better customer service.

The Vons on Atlantic and 46th and the one on Ximeno were very friendly and helpful. Sadly the one on Broadway and Atlantic the manager was rude, unfriendly and asking her questions made me feel stupid. I never used the app before or how to use digital coupons and her comment was if I wanted the discounts I had to figure it out myself. 😣 Another girl helped me but I still won't go there again. She has a job because of customers. No matter her mood, she shouldn't have offended me. 😵‍💫 Oh well. 🤗

Some lady sits in her car and writes down license plate numbers to later tow customer vehicles. It drives customers away TBH. The parking lot gets full during the day, but for some reason they feel the need to only tow at night. Not only that, but the food servers sometimes need to be reminded to wear gloves when serving food especially after washing dishes in the sink. It’s kind of gross to watch that happen as a customer and have to remind the attendants of basic food safety.

My partner and I have been coming to this Vons for many years. Today, we were followed out by a shoplifter and were completely unaware that he was behind us. He followed us around the store, but Vons staff immediately called security. Our safety is thanks to Jose for yelling out to us that this man was behind us, especially because he had a knife. We had purchased a bottle of whiskey, which I'm assuming he was going to try and take from us. Thank you, Jose. I truly believe you helped prevent something that could've turned violent. I'm relieved to know that Vons staff here are always looking out for the safety of their customers.

Store is big . Always stocked with items that are on sale for the week . This location is busy always . Only draw back to this location is that they need way more check out lanes open . Lines are always longer than normal.

Meat department is amazing! I called ahead of time to have them get 20+ pounds of meat ready for me and the butcher was super helpful and kind.
