I’ve been taking my puppy Teddy to the Petset for 8 months now. He has stayed up to six days at the Boarding suites. Teddy is a very high energy dog and loves to go there to play with other dogs. Staff is so helpful and friendly. I’m able to watch teddy during play time thru the doggy cams and can communicate with staff with any questions or concerns.I just picked up Teddy after 2 days Boarding. He got a bath and a sanitary groom. They do such a good job both with the bath and the grooming. I’m so happy with the service and Teddy is too. The price is very reasonable better than other places.

I am beyond grateful for the staff and services at the PetSet! I take comfort knowing that my baby is taken care of while I’m off at work — and the best part is I can see my pup playing with his friends or napping on their live feed cameras! The staff is always friendly, helpful, and coming up with fun creative ways to interact with all their doggy clients! I highly recommend, especially to those who have very active and social dogs!

Bit pricey for wash and trim for tiny dogs, but the shop is always super friendly, helpful and do a great job. Paying higher for giving a lil extra attention and care for my God-dog, so once in a while, its a sweet treat for him.

I've been taking my furbabies here for years and I know they have a great time playing outside with the other dogs because I can see it on PetSets cameras. When I have them bathed they are brought to me smelling like baby powder and have a cute bandana on. The front staff folks are super nice and personable. 5 star place for me and my furbabies

I was recommended this place by a friend to board my dog. Since it was my first time, I was nervous since this would be the first time leaving my dog somewhere new. The receptionist was really friendly and made sure I felt comfortable leaving my dog there. When I called to see how my dog was doing she was very friendly and made sure my little doggo was well. The livestream cameras on their website also helped ease my nerves too. I will definitely be bringing my dog back again!

We love The Pet Set! Their employees are always very friendly and helpful. My dog, Scout, is a rescue who is very timid, but I can see on their online cameras that she has a great time when in their care. We’ve taken her to doggy daycare and boarded her for trips. It’s very relieving to know that she’s in good care with them. Great prices, too!

Regarding PET SETDo NOT ever take your dog here for boarding. If there was an option for 0 ☆S that's what I would give them. Our dog was boarded here for 3 weeks while we moved cross country. When my husband picked up Yogi, he was very sick. 2 weeks of vet appointment $7000+ later he is STILL very sick. Initially took him to VCA on South, then Lakewood Pet Vet on Del Amo. VCA - NOT recommended. LAKEWOOD PET VET- highly recommended. My husband left CA yesterday to drive with him to Indiana and is now at an emergency vet in New Mexico. Yogi was diagnosed with pneumonia in Cali and was given antibiotics. Now he is so sick. Both lungs are severely infected (they're not certain if it's bacterial or fungal at this point). He has to be in a hyperbaric chamber for a minimum of 2 days, IV antibiotics and a ton of other treatments. I would NEVER send any animal here if you want them to live. This place allows your dog to be around sick animals AND doesn't care for them when they're sick. When we dropped him off, Our buddy, Yogi, a beautiful, spunky, playful, sweet and kind best friend...is now laying LIFELESS at an emergency vet in NM, vomiting and dry heaving. Our vet bill here is quotes to start at $6000+ we had to pay half upfront $3000.Thanks for everything Pet SET! I hope none of your furbabies ever stay in this "Resort".PET SET RESORT IS A DEATH SENTENCE!I am cant post videos of our poor dog lying in my husband's truck. This is a video and u can see how LITTLE his lungs are moving when he breathes. Please listen and do NOT take your furbabies here. They DONT care for or about your dog.Edited to add since I can't respond to their link.Pet Set is trying to blame this on the "mystery illness" going around the country right now. This is recent and HIGHLY contagious. Our other dogs are not sick, nor have got sick from Yogi. You are responsible for this and need to pay the vet bills. Not to mention I have had hundreds of people messaging how their dogs have got sick from your facility and have never gone back. You are trying to put blame on the "mystery virus" when it was not around when Yogi was boarded with you guys. You allow sick dogs to come be boarded, literally vomiting in the play yard and do not check vaccines on any dog who has previously been boarded with you. YOU NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN.Not to mention when my husband dropped off Yogi he saw a dog there with excessive droolin. We now know this is a sign the dog is sick and about to vomit.

My dog caught an upper respiratory infection and pneumonia from that place. My vet bills are over $2,200 now. It's been 4 weeks My dog has been sick. If you love your dog like I do don't bring it there.

I've been taking my dog here ever since he was a puppy and it's been great. Living in an apartment makes it hard to give my dog space, having him go to pet set gives him some time outdoors he desperately needs. It's even more helpful that there is grooming services available too. When my schedule gets packed, it's so convenient to be able to bring him here and get daycare and a bath. They also always have overnight availability when needed.

They are negligent and put healthy dogs with sick dogs without even notifying the owners. The dog then passed away and they act like they aren't at fault. How disgusting. Take responsibility for your lack of actions. Oh, btw your business posting a link to people saying you get their dogs sick blaming the actual sickness instead of your negligence. That's not customer service and I hope NO ONE takes their animals here.

Even though my doggo looks sad... maybe because it was his first time at the spa, The Pet Set did great on the grooming service. I called made an appointment same day no problem. Everyone is helpful and kind. Will return.

My review of The Pet Set is long overdue - they are the best! I use their boarding services often while I am away on business. I feel completely at ease during my travels, knowing that my fur babies are in a safe and enjoyable place! One of my girls needs daily eye drops and the Pet Set staff handles this with ease. All four, get to slumber in the same spacious room together. When I return, they are happy, relaxed, and bathed! I should also mention that my pups are happy when I drop them at The Pet Set. They don't even look back while I'm saying my goodbyes! I can't ask for more!I also use the grooming services and have never been disappointed. The cuts I request are the cuts that are delivered. 😀Again, I can't recommend The Pet Set highly enough. The owner and staff are top-notch.

Our dog chocolate comes here biweekly and very much enjoys it. He wasn't an easy addition to the pack at this location but with help from the wonderful trainer Kristi, he quickly was accepted and began thriving. Now he gets so excited every single time I drive him to drop him off. Can't recommend this place enough, whether it's the friendly demeanor of the employees, the expertise of the trainer(Kristi) or the affordability. I'll be coming here for years to come and would gladly trust my best buddy to their expert care. Can't recommend enough.

My pup loves it here! He has been going about 3 days a week for over a year, has boarded multiple times and has been groomed as well. All 3 services have been above 5 stars. The staff treat my pup like family and are all great humans. Shout out to the 7am crew that open up bright an early so I can make it to work on time!

They made my friends dog very sick. He’s in NM at a vet. Very sick. He was on his way home, but got too sick. And they had to stop for him. Dogs are family and they aren’t treated like loved ones here.

Would give zero stars. First and last time we will come to this place. We took our cat for basic grooming including nail trimming and were told that our cat had broken a nail on one paw and that it was minor. Come to find out - no it was not minor. Both back paws were blood stained and injured, and we also found out the front paws were also injured. They said they would pass on photos to their manager and it has been more than 24 hours since we have sent them and no response. Only "our manager will get back to you". We had to take our cat to the vet the same day and they confirmed all paws had some damage. She was given an antibiotic and has to wear a cone for 10 days as we have to put ointment on her. We should have listened to the other reviews stating similar mistreatment. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR PETS AND DON'T BRING TO THIS PLACE.

Xena, Prince and Sonny love spending time at the petset. Everyone there is so loving to our baby’s. I feel very comfortable leaving them there for the day care, for boarding also for bathing and grooming The owner and stafff there are great. I totally recommend it for your baby’s :)

Petset was such an AMAZING experience for our new addition to our family! We had boarding and training with them for a period of 6 weeks. Lots of care, social play, and love given to our pup the entire time he was there! #kristithetrainer is beyond the best trainer out there! She went above and beyond to train our pup, sending videos and tips throughout. At the end of the training period she came to our home to get us set up and settled with Pup. She has so much insight into the psychology of dogs and builds her training behind that to ensure pups not only want to be good for their humans, but feel safe and happy all along! My little one loves to run around with her friends at Pet Set and watching her on their doggie cams is one of my favorite things to do. Having outside space was crucial for me so Pet Set was an obvious choice and I hope, one day, she will venture in the wee pool they have out on hot days!

EDIT: I am very disappointed to edit this review to deduct yet another star. Despite my fiancée's and my constructive criticism to avoid the excessive force usage from happening again, the owner has decided to attack our personal reputation and supposed lack of understanding of pet grooming to avoid real responsibility regarding his problematic employee.I cannot recommend a pet grooming service where the owner refuses to properly address legitimate concerns when a employee may be possibly harming an animal client. Animals can't speak up against groomers who may be harming them. It is thus up to us to hold pet groomers accountable for any credible allegations regarding potentially dangerous practices.Original Review: I would typically give them five stars with how they groomed my fiancée and my dogs in the past, but there was a groomer in our most recent visit who was using excessive force on a dog that was being groomed while we were in the parking lot getting ready to pick up our dogs.We understand that dogs can be frustrating and annoying to groom sometimes, but that's why they're being paid to groom them. Observing such unacceptable behavior makes us very hesitant to come back to Pet Set to have our dogs groomed, even if we were happy repeat customers prior to this unacceptable behavior.

The Pet Set has been awesome! First and foremost the staff is exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Kristi the dog trainer does amazing work!! She has helped me with two of my dogs and continues to help me. Kristi (#Kristithedogtrainer) has taught me how to be a better dog mom to help my dog Percy(Aussie/Collie) with behavioral issues. Through Kristi's tools, training and daycare, Percy has improved and continues to do so. Kristi also helped me with Lucy (Husky/Shepperd). Lucy was a big time puller and now walking her is so much better. Lucy and I are now hiking because I can manage her stride. I can't thank Kristi and the Pet Set enough. There is still work to be done, but Kristi definitely set the foundation for better dog parenting.
