The associates here are great! Excellent customer service, always friendly, knowledgeable about their products, but most of all, most importantly to me, is they, and I mean basically everyone that works here, treats my dog like s VIP. They always take time to talk to and pet him, in fact practically fawn over him, and he loves it so much there he never wants to leave. He often goes out of his way to lead me toward the store even when we aren’t walking that way or don’t need to shop. And I don’t really know about the rest of the store, but that have a wide variety of selections for dog food and treats, so that too. If my pup was rating, he’d give 6 stars and tha gets my business every time.

First groom and didn’t know what to expect or who would do a better groom.5 months old with no idea what type of groom to ask for. We look at some pics and found the perfect style showed Isabel who we never met before but we were so fortunate to come in this day and Isabel was the only groomer.I’m sure others are good groomers but we are extremely happy with Isabel’s work today.Isabel listened to us and did exactly what we imagined.We are very happy with this grooming and highly recommend Isabel.Didn’t push up selling but logically and smoothly unsold us on the best package and we are very satisfied with it, good job selling Isabel!

I ordered the item online and they canceled it with no reason. When I came to the shop to get it for my cat, it took them some time to realize that they messed up the price online and in reality. It was a scam to make people come to the store and buy it twice as much as they wanted.Instead of to pay 14.99 as online they placed an offer, at the store they told me 29.99 …. How is that possible????So I had to prove that online I paid 14.99 and showed my bank account transactions! Ridiculous service and scam!

I recently picked up my 5-year-old puppy from your establishment (Long Beach Exchange location), and unfortunately, the experience turned into a distressing situation. Shortly after receiving my puppy from one of your staff members, she began to experience difficulty in breathing and started gasping for air. I had to intervene immediately, performing basic life-saving measures to clear her airways and enable her to breathe normally.What was particularly disheartening about this incident was the lack of attention and empathy displayed by the staff member in question. While the customers present were attentive and expressed genuine concern for the well-being of my pet, the staff member seemed entirely disinterested and more focused on financial transactions with other customers. Not only did she fail to offer assistance or inquire about the situation, but her apparent disregard for the distress my puppy was in is unacceptable.

Always a positive experience with Lisa. However Lisa was unable to lift, so she suggested the groomer, Gen, short for Genesis. The first picture is a groom from Lisa (perfect) and second picture shows the groom from Gen on my silver poodle boy (HORRIBLE). See before and after. You decide.

Took our cat to get groomed they didn’t clean his ear, cut his nails, or use any deep conditioner. They brushed him basically. Save your money. They used him for training a class. This cat is very well behaved and has gone to the last one we went to every other morning bath for a year. Do better.

I’ve been a customer of PetSmart’s grooming services for 5 years. I have a red and white Irish Setter who occasionally needs an expert’s touch. We always have a great experience here. The grooming is excellent, appropriately priced, the staff is professional and the facility is clean. I was so happy when they put in a location at the LBX. Thanks for keeping my girl Hooper so pretty!

Came into the store looking for a dog stroller for my senior dog and after looking around for a bit with no luck finding what I was looking for I asked someone who worked there if they carried dog strollers. She just pointed to the back wall and said if they did they'd be over there. They aren't very helpful to say the least.

The store is always clean and the employees are super friendly and helpful. The prices are a little high but cheaper than grocery stores and other big name pet suppliers. They usually have a fully stocked store and they offer pet adoptions. Definitely our go-to place!

Inside the store was fine but on the outside there were 3 teenage boys riding their bikes in the parking lot. They rode them on the wheelchair ramp and sidewalk in front of the store. There was a security guard there but he did nothing. The boys almost knocked my husband down. They circled my car and wouldn't let us leave. They made nasty remarks and had terrible attitudes. My husband went inside the store and asked the store manager to call the police but no one showed up. There was a lady trying to talk sense to one of the boys but he had a very bad mouth. I told the boys I need to leave now get your bikes away from my car. We finally left. I don't want to go there again. I will go to another location. 2/20/2023 @ 3 to 3:30 p.m.In my opinion the whole incident escalated.The store manager and security guard should have advised the boys to leave the primises but they chose to do nothing. A parking lot is exactly that and children should not be allowed to ride bikes on it. They jeopardize theirselves as well as the customers. It could have been avoided.

Had the worst experience ever and worst customer service, I went in Saturday morning to get my puppy some medicine for his belly I didn’t have a leash on him but was carrying him throughout the store his 6 months old couldn’t walk because he was too sick to do so a young Asian worker blocked me in the entrance like if I did something wrong she said “next time you bring your dog into this store make sure he has a leash” never in your life block my right away as a customer the dog doesn’t have a Leash because his clearly sick and can’t walk…. I’ll never step a foot in this disgusting place ever again

Canceled my appointment without even a call to let me know why. The one time I went in there the attendant that help me seem so inexperienced, and afraid of my 5 pound Pomeranian who is 13 years old, when she cut and grinder her nails. The only reason I went there was because the Signal Hill Petsmart was closed.

I used to get my dog’s nails trimmed here all the time when walk-ins were available. However, since the policy change, it is nearly impossible to get a nail trimming scheduled unless you call in the day of and check if they can take you. There is no option for JUST a nail trim on the app - you can only select it if you get a grooming package (minimum for a small dog is about $24). I called the store and the phone rang at the grooming department several times before Robert (from a different department) picked up. I thought he would be able to help me, but when I asked questions about scheduling a nail trimming such as what dates and times I could schedule the trimming, all Robert had to say was, “You can call whenever they’re open.” It wasn’t until I stayed completely quiet with shock that he couldn’t give me the store hours that he hurried and said “9-5 I think Monday through Thursday but I would just call.” What do you think the purpose of my call today was?? I felt like I had to waste 10minutes of my life to get an answer that could’ve been given in 1 minute and I would’ve just gone somewhere else a lot sooner. The regular store is awesome, but the grooming has gone down in service quality and customer satisfaction over the years.

I usually like this location. Staff is friendly and It's near my home and can usually get what i need. Lately they don't have flavors of cat food i need and i have to buy what they have in stock. I've been told by staff that it is a problem with purina but i can go to seal beach or Huntington beach and get what i need. Maybe a staff or ordering problem is more to blame. I will be going to orange county from now on. It's a shame that i have to go out of my way to get what i need.

They have such a great variety. And with the lack of that at most grocery stores I don't mind spending a few dollars more. And their cashiers are friendly and knowledgeable. 👍
