Great store. A mid size Mexican produce and they have a terrific butcher counter still affordable. Hard to get help finding stuff they don't seem interested in speaking to their clientele. Otherwise it is a good store to shop.

There food is very overpriced and the selection is poor at best. They are price gouging and taking full advantage of the poor folks like me who have limited food stamps. I only go there because I need to, not because I like to.

Nothing real special.. just my closest neighborhood grocery market. Staff is always friendly and they do have a large variety of products in regards to food and beverages. Prices aren't bad either

Huge selection of produce, well displayed with a price tag to match. The huge meat department runs the entire width of the store! Selection is a bit thin. Huge variety of canned tuna, canned chicken; nil. And I looked all over that store! The cashier must have thought I lost a contact lens, as I feverishly looked on every shelf and display! Friendly enough staff, moderate to high prices.

The cashier was completely RUDE and acted like she was disgusted by my friend and I who collectively spent $280.08 in this trainwreck of a grocery store. Its over priced, disorganized, and has no selection of products. You're lucky to have two choices and the brands offered are expensive and basically just the competitors generics anyway. We were not only treated like we were unconvincing the cashier, but she spoke in very short sentences and so low we could barely hear anything she said. It was our first and LAST time we will ever do business there. Also in a side note, we paid using EBT and she charged me for 12 bags at 15cents each when the bags are to be free of charge when using EBT. Evey question I had she seemed irritated by and she obviously couldn't wait for our transactions to be done so we could get out of her space. There wasn't one aspect of shopping at this store that was redeeming whatsoever. Screw Big Savers. That store and the staff are complete PILES. 🤮

Smaller grocery store but perfect for last minute stops and filled with good deals to save money compared to the bigger name stores. Not a huge selection throughout but enough where you can get mostly whatever it is you are looking for at half the cost. The employees are always super helpful and friendly which makes the experience and want to shop here even more. Have amazing selection of freshly made drinks that are submerged In ice, like Strawberry Milk, Horchata, Guva and more!!

Great price on a 60 box of waffles. But there hard as rocks no matter how many different ways you cook them. There beer selection is not the best, but what do you expect from a Mexican store.

The reason for the low rating is because of the expired items in their bakery area. This was my first time in this store. I was just stopping by to pick up some little desserts for a party that I was attending. So I had chose some cheese rolls and chocolate cupcakes and vanilla cupcakes, which was about 5 items. 4 of the 5 items that I grabbed were already expired. I noticed that the items were expired and the cashier said, it's okay they are still good. Which was a big no no for me. I asked to have them taken off my receipt, which she kindly did. The cupcakes I wanted to go get another one. Went to exchange the item and all the cupcakes that were on the sales floor were all expired. So had to go with a different brand of cupcakes. The employees were very nice. If it wasnt for the expired items I would've gave a higher rating.

Surprised to find items way cheaper than Target or Walmart! I was looking for chili oil because this was the only store that has it. Nice friendly staff.

The people that worked there wasn't friendly at all except one man I think was the manager. I was gonna shop there after I used the restroom from my long drive I wanted snacks and water. I got out of there when two workers was not nice about me asking where was the bathroom and what was the code he was very rude didn't get his name. The lady that opened the bathroom tried to he nice but she wasn't. Won't go back there again😡

The store has been updated a lot. They should work on their quality of fresh fruits and vegetables but overall I'm pleased with the ONLY grocery store on the west side of Long Beach!Now we need a Starbucks and a major chain pharmacy like CVS or Walgreens!

Haven't been here in close to 3 years due to a bad experience. I decided to go back today and try again. When I walked in, I noticed it has been refreshed. Bakery looked good and so did produce. I was pleasantly surprised. So I loaded up my basket with groceries. When I got to the check out, the manager in charge (Helinda) was in the checkstand. She looked at me and didn't even acknowledge me with any sort of greeting. She was rude my entire transaction and Finally asked if i needed a bag. THIS IS THE REASON I DON'T COME BACK! Associates here are simply RUDE. Especially when the manager in charge can't be genuinely nice to the customers, very disappointing. Why waste the company money to remodel if your associates chase your customers away. Smh...

This is my go-to place for meat.Eventhough there is plenty of filipino/Asian food around I still trust bigsaver for the quality of their meat.Clean & Not overly frozen.Their ready to cook taco meat in their meat section/aisle was always the star of the party.Well seasoned chicken /pork asada.their pastries are also good as well.clean and friendly staff.always get your booze from there.Their sale is on point as well.❤💯🎄

As usual the store was busy it was pretty clean and pretty well stocked the add items there was plenty of cashiers where were friendly and quick and overall was pretty happy with everything was easy to find and I enjoy coming here because not only is it conveniently close to where I live but it is good service and quick service

Let’s start it off that this shopping center has been serving this community since my grandparents in the 70s. This grocery store has its moments in the local community to grab something quick and not to serve its household to fill up . I would love to see BIG changes with Big Saver or have a NorthGate . From the produce, meats, dairy and bakery isn’t 60 percent satisfaction. My main concern is the store manager Raul Garcia and the (security guard). I really hope they evaluate them to represent the company where Long Beach city is growing and changing within the community. The store manager Raul needs to get his information: “only individuals who have been instructed not to wear a face covering by their medical provider are exempt from wearing one.” This is stated on the window of the store that is by the Los Angeles department of public health order of the health officer 9/21/20 datedThis Store Manager can not ask customers and can not force individuals to put on a mask . He has no professional training while being in the front of the store and not setting any leadership examples to his fellow cashiers who were terrified. It seems like he needs to find a new location because he can’t handle customers who served this community. I understand it’s an environment of Spanish speaking but for the manager to speak in front of a customer who doesn’t speak Spanish to his cashier is strongly inappropriate. A lot of the business window is covered with out dated Long Beach health department since June 15th has been lifted in the city . The store needs to up to date on city and state officials and let the employees know as well.

I went to grab some beers and there was only one beer on the shelf so I seen an employee pass me by so I stopped him and asked him politely if he could check if there were anymore in the back .He told me to wait and so I did .By this time twenty minutes have passed by so I then seen the same employee heading back my way eating a bag of chips and he did not acknowledge me or mention anything about the beers that I was patiently waiting for.ive been shopping here for a couple of years and this was the first time I experienced this type of customer service.so I think maybe management should emphasise the importance of good customer service to their employees.

NEVER get your wic here and Definitely NEVER get fruits or vegetables here your better off going to El super first & foremost there scales DON'T WORK they overweight what you buy and the fruits are NOT always fresh (Mold) if you find one batch with Mold DON'T bother it's unsafe for you!!! Second off they never seem to not know how to work with wic & over charge it is like foodstamps just call your wic provider and they'll get the store in trouble :) (they'll take care of it for you) .

Take IT Easy...when you buy IT your groceries or visit this place BIG SAVER SUPERMARKET...!..On West Long Beach.Some prices printed on weekly advertise..the second Shift (personnel) doesn't have training to treat to the public, or customers and always not Applied the discounts announced on the flyers...specificly on bakery promotion and the sándwich bread displays.And more plus, the Security Personnel pushing and bulling and discriminate coments against to me.
