Just finished our first bath at TaylerMade!! Worked wonders! Tayler Made training helped us so much in training our dog. She had obedience problems and was a pain to walk. She’d see another dog and our walk was pretty much over. Daniel was able to show us how to train her. The last lesson they walked 4 other dogs around her and she had no problems! We couldn’t believe it. They answered all of our questions, were so knowledgeable, and encouraged us along the way -giving homework and recapping the lesson. Definitely recommend!

We had such a great experience with TaylerMade Training. Our one year puppy was extremely scared of strangers and other dogs. After a scary of experience of her running off at the beach and not being able to find her for over an hour, we reached out to TaylerMade Training for help. Daniel worked with us to teach Magnolia simple recall commands, increase her confidence, and teach us how to respond in certain situations. We purchased the hybrid package, so we were able to work with Magnolia in a variety of settings. Since then, we have taken Magnolia on a 3 week road trip and a camping trip to the beach. She did great and I was at ease knowing we had the knowledge to keep her safe. We have also implemented the things we have learned with our other dogs. I am so thankful we found TaylerMade Training and I would highly recommend them.

A true miracle worker for our two German Shepards. We introduced a new Sherpard to our home and one was extremely dog reactive. We sought the services of Tayler to help with our dogs and for them to bond.Tayler herself is a very nice person and reads dogs very well. Shes speaks K-9! Tayler is able to communicate and read the dogs and then articulate to us what their needs are. Our dogs are now bonding and we couldn’t have done it without her expertise! TaylerMade Training is the place to go for your puppy and dog training needs. I have a very people and dog reactive Aussie/Collie mix. Daniel and Tayler are the best! We are working through his issues to get him to be a well behaved puppy who can walk and enjoy himself. I couldn't be happier with our decision to seek help and more so with them as our help! It's important to start dogs on a good foundation, and finding you dog is reactive is an even bigger reason to make sure that foundation is solid! I came to TaylerMade after I got a 4 month old australian shepard who was severely under socialized. He was very reactive and had no idea how to handle his emotions, I quickly realized I was in over my head! Daniel and Tayler recommended that we do a 2 week board and train so they were able to more intensively work on his level reactivity. He now walks beautifully on a leash and is able to walk right by situations that would’ve caused a meltdown before! I would’ve never been able to get to this point with him on my own. Training with TaylerMade has made such a big difference in my dogs life and mine, could not recommend more!

Tayler came at a time in my life when I recently moved to California, bought a house and adopted a new pup. The new pup, Kimchi, was to help my other pup, Koa, adjust to the new area and living situation. Unfortunately, Koa was not adjusting well and was more anxious and snappy towards other dogs. I requested for Tayler's help and there is tremendous improvement in not only Koa's behavior but also Kimchi's behavior. After researching several places for training Buck, our Great Pyrenees, we settled on TaylerMade and we are so thankful that we did! My husband & I were looking for a trainer to help us with our at the time 6 month old German shepherd, Zeus. Little did we know our whole life was going to change. He was very under socialized & scared. When we first got him he had spent the first 6 months in a small back patio. Originally we started off as only 5 lessons we quickly realized our dog needed more than 5 lessons so we decided to do board & train. Daniel & Tayler took Zeus for 2 weeks. After he came back, he was a completely different dog! he is doing great at home because of Daniel & Taylers help, he is now kennel trained, he knows his commands, & today he didn’t react to our neighbors which is a huge accomplishment! & our neighbors keep telling us that they have noticed a significant difference! We went to TaylerMade to train our recently adopted dog, and they did an outstanding job. Daniel is exceptionally friendly, and really put a focus on making sure that we were prepared to continue teaching our dog after the training sessions were done. He was able to help us with all of the basics like touch, sit, and stay, and even was able to help us train her to walk next to us and how to reduce her anxiety around other dogs. I am so glad that TaylerMade training has a storefront with regular open hours now! Not only is Tayler and Daniel amazing trainers, they have amazing recommendations on how to keep your dog (and birds) entertained. They have a huge selection of treats, toys, and enrichment puzzles. We can't thank Tayler and Daniel enough for their guidance, training, and support with our reactive dog, Maple. We rescued Maple in 2022, and quickly noticed she had a handful of triggers that we were unsure how to address appropriately. We turned to books, Youtube videos, and our vet, but nothing gave us or Maple the confidence to overcome and work through her triggers. At the Buellton FallFest, we first met Tayler and Daniel at their booth, took a business card, and later reached out for a consultation. During the consultation, I appreciated Tayler's "whole dog" approach to behavioral issues and reassuring us that some dogs need a mix of training, exercise, and medication to help them. Our goal was to gain the skills and tools to help Maple recognize and learn that not everyone she encounters is a threat. We determined that a hybrid program was best for Maple's needs, and we did several sessions in the studio and several in our home. After the first two sessions, we started to notice a shift in Maple's confidence but more importantly ours! Walks became less stressful, and the idea of people coming to our home was looking like a possibility. Tayler and Daniel were so patient and reassuring throughout the whole process answering EVERY question we had, and we are forever grateful for their support and work. When I adopted my 4-year-old pitbull, I quickly realized that I was in over my head with her dog reactivity and nonstop leash pulling. I reached out to TaylerMade for professional dog training to help me manage her uncontrollable behavior so I could confidently walk her with my other dog. We started with five private lessons where Daniel and Tayler taught me how to work through my dog’s problems in a distracted environment. They’re both extremely positive, patient, and knowledgeable and genuinely care about helping the dogs and their owners. I greatly appreciated their flexibility in working around my work schedule, my boyfriend’s schedule, and including my other dog in trainings. I saw good progress with my dog each week and learned many different training techniques that will help me with all my future dogs. After the private lessons, Daniel and Tayler did a two-week board and train to get through the tough behaviors I was struggling with. They sent me video updates and photos while they were working with her so I could see how she was progressing through their training. When I picked up her, we went for a walk and she was on her best behavior; we were even able to pass a dog on the other side of the road without her barking! The next day, I was even able to comfortably walk both of my dogs for the first time ever. I am amazed with how far she’s come and I’m excited for her future progress. I’ve enjoyed working with Tayler and Daniel through every step of the process and I would recommend them to any owner looking for dog training.

I recommend their service as a first time dog owner. I worked with Daniel for the majority of my sessions. He supported me with understanding my dogs’ wants and needs while creating structure in my household. This was really the first experience I've had being dedicated weekly, really to training my dog myself under the guidance of a trainer/coach. Which I can't really say enough about. To really understand the psychology of your best friend/animal is priceless. Taylor is so patient, encouraging, and reassuring as I learned to patiently let my puppy be a puppy but also encourage him in the right ways. Now, when I walk him, he sits and lays down when any dog is passing by (at my request), and most everyone says "wow, great job" to me, impressed by his behavior. Awesome experience, awesome service.

And only one week of "board and train", these guys gave my foster dog a whole new "Leash On Life". And what's more, is that upon pickup they gave ME a lesson in how to be better. We all love our animals and want to do what's best for them but sometimes that means getting ourselves trained as well. You should be getting the best for your animal FROM the best, and that means reaching out to these guys for their knowledge and compassion. Don't give up, just give them a call.

I purchased a puppy from her dog’s litter and I couldn’t be happier. From the moment of interest there was great communication back and forth. I was able to meet the puppy before I got it, as well as the mom and dad. The price is fair and even after the sell, there is still contact and questions are still being answered.

I have been working with Tayler @ TaylerMade in training my golden retriever, Riley. She is fabulous! Tayler is patient with me and Riley, you can tell she really loves dogs. Tayler has worked with me and my puppy since the day I got him. He is 7 months old now and I get so many compliments on how well trained he is for a 7 month old puppy.Two of the big things we focused on were his demand barking and resource guarding. After a couple sessions and some practice exercises that Tayler recommenced, I no longer have a problem with either of those issues. I would recommend Tayler for any training, she has tons of knowledge and is committed to helping her clients and their pups with all their training needs.

UPDATE: I’ve now gotten to work with both Tayler and Daniel for 1 on 1 training and I’m so pleased. Taylermade training has a superb staff - very knowledgeable, patient with my stubborn pup and the recaps they email after every session is so helpful. When I showed up to a lesson unprepared and without an agenda Daniel offered up great suggestions and made a great lesson plan.I was lucky to get connected with Tayler when I adopted my second dog - I wanted to make sure I had the tools and knowledge I needed to have a happy home with two pups. I had originally thought that the new younger dog would be trained to mesh well with my older dog but she has really shown me that with confidence and work I can have both trained to be their best together! I LOVE the positive reinforcement method she encourages rather than punishing them. I have reached out to her with questions, photos and videos of their behavior and she always responds promptly. I signed up for both private lessons and group lessons in her studio - I would HIGHLY recommend both!

Tayler is a brilliant trainer as evident with her own dogs and the ones she trains! We’ve been working with her with our new puppy for about a month now and we have definitely seen results! She’s great with giving positive feedback to my kids as well during training sessions. In just this short period of time, under Tayler’s guidance, my pup Hazel, has learned her ‘place’ (her spot in my room) where she stays until I release her. Hazel has also had much improvement with the command, ‘leave it’; Hazel loves to chase the cats and that has definitely improved. I like that after every session, she sends a recap of what we worked on and what we need to work on for the following week. We look forward to our weekly training sessions with Tayler made training every week!
