An incredibly well kept store. I have both snakes and birds at home so this is a very convenient one stop shop for me and I'm so happy I found it! Both reptiles and birds seem very healthy and happy with their environments. The store itself is well organized and they carry a variety of products including well known healthy food brands for birds. Over all a very clean and curated store.

I have wanted a bird for years, and my boyfriend and I decided to get me a lovebird today. his family already has several birds so there was no question as to where we would go to get the newest member of our flock. I am so glad we went to Agustin’s, he was so helpful and kind and got me set up with this beautiful lady with a great cage set up and everything! Carmen and I are happy at home now.He also trimmed our stubborn cockatoo’s beak and nails quickly and efficiently.

What a gem we found in our own backyard. We brought in our 5 year old Guinea Pig for grooming and nail trimming. He was real gentle and did amazing job with her nails. She smelled fresh when we picked her up. It was fast service too. I will continue to bring her back for grooming and nail trim. We will be looking into boarding her here for our next vacation.

Agustins ability to hold a bird amazes me! We took our African Grey in for beak and nail trim, fast, efficient and obviously knows what he is doing. The store is very clean and you can tell the animals are very well taken care of! We have been working with Agustin for over 20 years and highly recommend taking your exotic here!

Hands down the BEST owner! I was devastated when we couldn't find him, and our vet just let us know about his new place. Seriously, if you have an issue, he's quick to resolve it. Very knowledgeable. Very professional. There is no nonsense and just the absolute best. We've brought our reptiles, birds, and rabbits to him for clipping. I'm always impressed just how efficient he is. No one gets even a little close to his abilities.

Knowledgeable and super friendly staff. This is the go to place for bird grooming, pet supplies, toys and quality cages. They do not sell products that they don’t have faith in. I've gone here for sometimes now, last week my pet dragon had an eye infection, was hard to go to the vet because of my crazy work schedule. He not only helped me with my poor dragon, but recommended a med that sells way higher than if you went to see the vet, and that does not include the work they do at the vet. Not only did he save me money, but showed me other ways to keep her healthy like getting a 150 heat lamp which is better then what I had. Thanks again Agustin, seriously an answer to my prayer, God bless you and your family.

I love this place! My family and I purchased a hand tamed cockatiel from this store and she was the most well adjusted and the sweetest baby bird ever! She immediately became such a big part of our family and grew into a beautiful, kind and strong little parrot. We return to this store regularly to get food and supplies for our Dumpling and I am so grateful we chose this place to purchase our bird from over dozens of private breeders on Craigslist whose birds might have been cheeper but you just never know how they were treated before getting into your home. I trust the people in this store and would definitely recommend Augustin's bird store to anyone hoping to find a healthy and a friendly parrot companion 😊I should also mention that this store is the most beautiful pet store I have ever been in and always very clean and well organized.

We have taken our kids, yes we say our kids, Peppa and Billy to Agustin for bird grooming for many years. Boarding, Food, Bird Toys, Grooming, Rescuing them from peril… you name it they have been there for us. Billy Ray the Cockatoo, Kylo the chameleon, and Lorde the bunny all came into our arms and lives from Agustin’s care. Knowledgeable with an assortment of exotic animals and the supplies to take care of them. So glad they have a wonderful new location that is close to the 110 and on Lomita. Highly recommended for exotic pet needs or if you are just browsing. I mean come on where else would I get to bond with a Toucan. Have you ever seen a Toucans tongue? Well you can there when you see Tiki the Toucan and it’s freaking sweet. Hope to see you there!

I have known Agustin for well over 20 years. I came to respect him for his professionalism, knowledge and caring - he even saved the life of one of my birds once when no avian vet was around. I've been coming to Augustin since 2018, he's the only person I trust with my birds. Augustin is a bird whisperer, knows what he's doing, very helpful, he gets to the point, and very informative. When I get a chance, I'll make my way from Pomona to him, just so he can take care of my bird's grooming needs. He's the absolute best.

Been coming to Augustine for years we followed him from to Torrance two shops ago. He's been taking great care of our African Grey Jayz for the last 15 years or so. Very gentle and he loves birds. Can't find a better groomer! Family friendly kids love the snakes and reptiles! AAA+++

Just happened to stumble on this place and it’s awesome! Lots of birds, reptiles, and even some koi. All animals looked healthy and happy. I’m coming here for our next bearded dragon! And maybe just to talk to the parrot some more.

Bought a parakeet a couple weeks ago as a companion to my own. I was disappointed to learn that, unlike previous pet shop owner, prices are not competitive nor discounted. I paid nearly $40 for a bird that I discovered was old, slow, and overly frightful. I provided a spacious cage, toys, food, fresh water, plenty of love, care, and attention. Upon returning home from work yesterday, I was shocked and heartbroken to find my "new" bird lying on the cage floor... dead!

Love this place! Agustín and everyone that works there are great people that love their job and the animals, and it shows! Always friendly, kind service. I bought my boa from him and always go there for food because he has the best prices in town. You have to check this place out. Highly recommend it.

I have only been a couple times, but all animals look well fed and healthy. Staff seem very friendly and are available to ask questions about care and other information. Reliable and helpful people :). I recommend this shop for anyone who wants to look into getting a pet bird or who wants to go and see interesting animals.

Best pet shop for all your exotics in the South Bay. Staff is awesome, and the owner is incredibly knowledgeable about all things birds and reptiles. The way an owner should be. 5 stars all-day long.
