My daughter had an amazing and unforgettable time here for science camp. She enjoyed learning about nature and participating in the activities. Food is delicious and the naturalists are very kind.

This is Albert helton and I personally loved this place for science camp and I was just the best experience for me bed was a little uncomfortable but I was the best the people there where just cool and nice in general the person running this place is one of the coolest person ever thank you for the experience I had a fun science camp love Albert

Back in the 90s I spent every summer at this camp growing up and it really has made a impact on my life. I still friends with some of the people I met while going to camp Loma mar, and I still cherish the memories I have from there. I still go back every so often to take a stroll down memory lane to see how much it has changed thru the years. It's a great camp and if you have the opportunity to send your child there do it, they even have campership funds for low income families so their children can go to. It's a wonderful learning experience in a beautiful place

When I first went into this camp I was very excited to meet new people and experience the outdoors. But it didn’t really go the way I planned. The activities were fun and all but a few of my cabin mates were major jerks and the counselor was so rude. We were the only group who didn’t get to see Big Red because construction was in our way. Don’t get me wrong, I spent a great time with my friends at school and the food there was delicious. I do recommend going there but just be careful who you hang around with.

I was at camp Loma Mar like 52 years ago, I think I was around 10 years old. I remember we had to do skits around a camp fire and we slept in cabins and I would fall asleep right away. I would pretend I was asleep to here what the others would talk about. Not sure what made me think of this, I was watching the skits on Carol Brunet show.

Food was bomb btw. I went there in 6th grade and made some nice memories there. Cabins were decent. They have nice activities for the kids and campfires. The hikes are fun cause you have friends with you. Staff are super nice. (I think you will enjoy it a lot)

So fun! I had a great time, and the food was amazing! I became really close with my cabin mates. I really recommend this camp it’s so fun.

Yes!I enjoyed this camp a lot!It was a fun positive journey and the counselors where amazing.ButOH NO~There’s only four stars!And that is because I personally found the experience quite boring.But I respect others opinions!

Great except berry was terrible, he is way to strict and he hates kids. I got in trouble for looking at the ground. No, i am not joking, i was about to sit on a puddle so i moved so i wouldn't sit in the puddle and then berry comes over here threatens to give me 3 strikes. Fire Berry please!! He ruined my trip! (Also if you have a wheelchair you cant get up the stairs to your cabin)

Used to be great. Been coming for 27 years...Now no smoking camp...Really??? We have gotten calls from friends asking if were going. No were not. Sad. Kids have made life long friends as well as grandkids. We abided by the rules and smoked behind dumpster by propane tanks as told......Yes some people complained about smoke on clothes when sharing cabins. PLEASE YOU HAVE AN ENTIRE OTHER VILLAGE YOU CAN PUT PEOPLE IN SO NOONE HAS TO SHARE A CABIN!!! I don't know why this camp has become so difficult. All the other camps Im looking at allow smoking in a designated area. The topper was no dapping allowed!!! R u kidding me!!! This is sounding like discrimination. White folks get off ur high horse. And P S Im WHITE...YMCA be careful you r bordering on inappropriate behavior. So sad we are not allowed to participate any longer when there r ez fixes

I just got back from this camp four my first time and it was a blast. You will have the best time ever. My counselors were Isabella and Max and they made my experience 10 times better. Thank you Isabella and Max

My daughter spends one week each summer. She comes home thrilled about all the opportunities for activites and all the new friends she made. The staff is amazing!

My daughters loved this camp.. they were scard to go but after the first day of homesickness they had so much fun. They cant wait to go next year and be independent again.

BRO I FUDGING LOVE THIS PLACE WITH ALL MY HEART. I WENT I 5TH GRADE AND HAD A BLAST!!!! OMG OMG I MISS IT SO MUCH BUT LIKE I CAN'T GO TO SUMMER CAMP HERE?? REALLY SAD ABT THAT BUT I LOVE THIS PLACEE SMMMM IM GONNA CRY. SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES.ITS AWESOME HEREEEEEE

The cabins were really bad. There was a bat in my first cabin so I had to move cabins then there was a mouse in the second one so I ended up sleeping in the car for two nights.

Worst experience of my life. I wanted to go home the whole time. The councelours clearly don't care about you and force you to do boring activities you don't want to do. 100% WOULD NOT recommend!!!

The staff in this camp are so positive and inspirational. The food is the best, and the cabins are not that bad. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!
