I normally don't shop at Ace Hardware because, to be honest, they are expensive compared to Lowe's. However, I needed parts for my shower ASAP as I was in the middle of fixing it and couldn't go all the way to Lowe's.Not only was the gentleman that helped me knowledgeable about plumbing, he even told me that what I was thinking about doing to my shower would not work, and that I needed to do it another way (which was the correct way by replacing the washers). I was highly impressed and THANKFUL that I went here for my plumbing needs. Just wish I could remember the gentleman's name to Thank Him!!!

This is the best hardware store within 100 miles. I happen to live walking distance from this store and the Young's know how to earn your business the old fashioned way.......by remembering who u are. I'm also a contractor and shop at every other hardware store within 100 miles depending on where I'm working, there are other good stores out there, but THIS one is great.

INCERDIBLE selection of home use hardware. They have the major stuff a normal homeowner would need but even better is the oddball stuff you can't find at Lowes or Homedepot.Parking: Easy access right off Ham street. Not entirely trailer friendly but a pro could manage it.

Returned a item that I didn't use. Nice store so instead of getting my money back I bought something else. The only problem was the return item. Deducted cost but kept tax and put it on charge.

First I'd like to say, this is a great local hardware store. I own several BGE's & their selection of EEgcessories is phenomenal! Also large selection of supplies for all your BBQ needs. Pellets, woods, hickory, pecan mesquite wood chunks & chips etc. Also have a large selection of rubs, seasonings, bbq sauces etc. Why the one star? As soon as I walked in, I was asked to remove my backpack & leave it at the counter... Seriously? I'm sure this place has ample security cameras around, in addition to the numerous staff that are wandering around asking if you need any help at all. I'm not a person that would shop lift anything, 62 yrs old & have a back pack to make it easier to carry a few inhalers for my asthma. I can see if someone younger in elementary school walked in with a backpack but even that is a bit ridiculous! This policy is ridiculous as you don't know the reason why some people carry backpacks or does this store just assume anyone with a backpack is gonna rip something off? Ridiculous & I won't be back & am going to inform all my BGE group to avoid this place for their Big Green Egg accessories or for any other BBQ needs. Just ridiculous! Smdh

I was so impressed with the service I got at the Lodi location. The young man that helped me was very knowledgeable about the chainsaw I bought and went above and beyond to show me everything and even took the time to register it online for me. I would highly recommend this Ace hardware and will continue to shop here for all my needs.

Me and my friend went into this location a few weeks ago because we were trying to find a certain chainsaw blade for a Stihl chainsaw and they may have been the only location that had this in stock. We walked in and we checked their chainsaw blades and saw that the home for the one that we needed was empty and we immediately walked up to an employee to see if they could help us and they said that they were out of that blade. We then asked if they would be able to check to see if the Lockeford location had this blade in stock because I remembered that the Young's family owns both that location and the Lockeford one. Instead of trying to help me and my friend so we wouldn't make a wasted drive to Lockeford, the employee said that he couldn't call the Lockeford store and would not give an explanation as to why but obviously he didn't want to help us and we were very frustrated and we said "we will call on our own" and we immediately left. I will never stop at this location again especially since the employees don't seem to want to make an effort to actually help their customers but instead expect the customers to do their job for them!! We called the Lockeford location and luckily they have it in stock so we were able to get it and we complained about the Lodi store to the manager there and he said he would make a note of it. I would stop at the Lockeford location before I would go to this one because the employees at the Lodi one don't seem to want to help customers.

Awesome place, don't let the size of the hardware store fool you. You need a special fastener or those difficult to get plumbing connectors this place has it. Also they always ask if you you need any help as you enter the store, will definitely come back again.

Every community needs an Ace Hardware. One of the last businesses that truly understands what customer service is. Every time I go in this store I ask where something is or how to do something, not only do I get told where to fine it but I get knowledgeable help. Much better experience than any big box store.

I love hate this place because they usually have the random things you need just always so pricy. Over all customer service is great and if you don't mind spending an extra buck or two its better than trying to get someone to help you in a big box store.

If it doesn't exist - you won't find it at your local neighborhood hardware. But, this local jewel of an Ace Hardware has a little bit of everything, and will even order hard to find light bulbs, and help you find anything and everything you need. Parking is easy. Shopping the aisles a breeze. Easy in and out!!
