Warning on Sunsetter Awning purchases from Vinewood Coverings - we purchased a home with Sunsetter awnings and the motor broke on the awning inside of the first 5 years. Turns out the warranty is not transferable and now we’re on the hook for $1000 to replace and fix this issue. Buyers beware the quality on these awnings is super low and if you’re buying a home with these already installed you definitely should expect to be paying out of pocket to keep these working.*updating this review based off of owner feedback“Small business” is such a joke - either you stand behind the product you sell or you don’t. For those doing research on awnings, there is no escalation path with the Sunsetter company, they’re just a “distributor”. My issue with Vinewood is they have no accountability for the pile of junk they sell as “top quality”. The bill for the first problem we have is actually $1600, not $1000! Cost of ownership is real - so for those considering purchasing Sunsetter product from Vinewood, please so your research.Last note ongoing cost - a service visit is also $299(can be waived) - so anytime you need Vine Coverings to show for any issue whatsoever - plan on spending $299.

The awning is awesome and customer service was excellent. We initially had a few issues, but the office personnel as well as the owner of the company corrected it as soon as possible. They even went as far as fabricating additional parts, at no charge to me, to make sure it fits perfectly. I highly recommend this company and the team of professionals who run the office as well as the friendly installers. Finished products works good on 1st try, 1 hour.The long delivery with redelivery where a disappointment.Appearance of parts & installed look very good, with exception of 4 points being supported with "loose 2X stacked wood & cardboard". Nothing was mentioned on why they are there and it look obvious that it's "temporary". If support is needed for the drive end (& it appears necessary to not sag & stain the heavy end), then a professional designed support must be provided., instead of "loose 2X stacked wood & cardboard".Being an exceptional good communicator, I know I'll hear from Haley next week. Haley's anticipation communication made any difficult occurances understandable each time. Rushing the reorder with urgency was appreciated.Friday's installers endured 105F and finished before 1pm with no lunch.

The awning was supposed to come in 6 to 8 weeks it took 12 weeks. We didn't know arrival until 1 week before delivery. The installation was fast and well done.

Michael and Rudy just left after installing my awning. Everything about the install experience was A+ : they were on time, really nice, very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, did a beautiful install, and left my deck clean. And I can’t believe how quickly they were finished. I’ve had such awful experiences with contractors and installers, but Michael, Rudy, and Vinewood Coverings completely exceeded my expectations. The younger workers didn't seem to know what they were doing. They were satisfied with their work. My son pointed out that they shorted us out of about a foot of coverage that we paid for. That's when the older gentleman stepped in and told them to go get the ladder they brought with them. The younger guy argued with him. We had a ladder of our own that they were already using. The younger guy finally got the ladder and they got it tighter and lined up nicely. ItI's still isn't as tight as I remember the last one I had installed. But maybe there's a reason for that. I just hope that if it is extended out and the wind catches it, it doesn't tear the fabric or break the mechanism.Since we had to have two crews come out, who seemed inexperienced, or were satisfied doing shotty work, maybe they need better training. The fabric is not inexpensive and neither are the units. II wouldn't want these "technicians" representing my company.

They are AMAZING !I was so very hesitant at first, I didn’t really know how to measure or order the sunshade I wanted, but they came out sat down with us explained everything, showed us options and fabric , did the measurements and quote .. that easy !! The communication was excellent all along the process, Due to high demand of the color fabric we wanted we did wait longer but was it worth it !! We are so happy and it’s better than what we expected! Highly recommended!!! We will be telling everyone !! Thank you !!!!

We ordered a Sunsetter Awning from Vinewood. We were told from the beginning that it would be 9-10 weeks before we could take delivery due to manufacturer delays. They checked back with us every 3 weeks to let us know the status of our order. It took a little over 8 weeks until installation. The technicians who installed our awning were very competent and informative. The office staff was also very helpful. Wonderful customer service!

The entire experience from order to completion was outstanding. Several years ago we had shutters installed for 7 windows. We just had another 4 nstalled. The workmanship far exceeded our expectation. The person who did the installation was very profession, courteous, knowledgeable and maintained a clean work site. The new products matched our previous windows. The quality and operation are flawless.

Amazing service! Sales rep came to measure and help us choose the appropriate awning. We ordered it before Xmas, but asked them to wait until our backyard remodel was completed to install. Vinewood kept our awning till the late rains abated and the backyard cement work was completed - which meant that they had to warehouse our awning for months. When I called to have it installed, they did so promptly. We are so pleased with their professional installation, and the amazing awning that keeps our backyard degrees cooler during the hot valley summer! Wish I'd thought of having this done years ago. Many of my neighbors have come by to look at it, so I think they'll be making more sales from our town soon!

Everything was seamless from start to finish. Jose came earlier than planned which was great, he did call first to ask. Measured the area where we wanted the awning and recommended a suitable size, showed us all the fabrics, which we picked out a color. We kind of knew what we were looking for so that didn't take long to pick out. Once we decided to go forward, all questions we had were answered and now we await our product. Would recommend them if you are looking for awnings or even shutters.

These guys are the best! They installed a commercial grade 37’ remote-controllable awning for us. It was a big job, which always comes with challenges. Josh Williams and his team more than met the challenges, including working long hours as necessary to meet our tight schedule. The awning is fabulous! My patio roof did not work for a retractable awning, but the Vinewood staff was able to make a new awning cover for my patio roof which is corrugated plastic and very hot if there is no awning cover. The installers were very good, made sure the new awning cover was installed carefully so there is no chance of it blowing away in a storm. I am very happy with the Vinewood service.

Dave & Joe called ahead to come earlier, which was great considering how HOT it was! Dave was very experienced & made sure I was happy with the length of my blinds! They were friendly, and cleaned up very nicely after they were finished with the install. He was very thorough in explaining how they work. I appreciate that Joe was new to the skills, but I could see that he was willing to learn with Dave’s mentorship. I very much appreciate that Dave, Joe, and owner Dennis made a same day return to make a short length a bit longer so that I was completely satisfied & happy with my new blinds & their workmanship despite the 108’ temperature on my patio!
