This place is run like two stoners woke up on a Tuesday and thought it would be a good idea to start a grocery store. So they opened it on Wednesday. Except it’s two years later and they still run in like it’s their first Wednesday.There’s clutter everywhere, everyone is related, people are talking on the phone while checking me out, there’s a weird uncle in the corner, and they’re trying to do so many things they’re succeeding at nothing.

Fast, friendly, and professional customer service. Phenomenal Mexican food at the deli. Delicious menudo, birria (beef and goat), and chicken mole. Exceptional Mexican food all around.

Their sandwiches are horrible. $8 for a turkey sandwich that was made with pre packaged meat off the grocery store shelf, no fresh deli meat in sight at the counter. Only 1 choice of bread and cheese. To top it off the couldn’t even make 4 sandwiches correctly. Every sandwich was missing mayonnaise on them.

I bought my lunch the other day. I ordered from the deli counter. I had a combo sandwich, it was good, the break was a little hard but tasty. They also offer Mexican food plates, tacos and burritos. They have an old fashioned meat counter with lots of choices. When your in the area give them a try.

Nice place. Clean, good selection (so many wonderful chiles 🌶️), kind staff. I had some great tri-tip 🥩 sandwiches, mac & cheese 🧀, and salad 🥗 there. Definitely check out that deli counter. It's nearby so I'm looking forward to going back.

I had been waiting to get a sandwuch from this place. Big mistake i should've know when all they had for bread was sourdough and wheat not much of a choice when they have about 8 on the list.Anyway it wasn't busy so there was no reason fot my sandwich tol9ok like a 5yr old made it it was sloppy one piece of meat that looked like more NOT! and to top it off the bread was hard.$9 thrown away even tge tomatoes were soggy along with lettuce.The worst part of it all is i was starving and even tgen i couldn't make myself eat it. ..now thats bad.

Nice to have a local store, but the produce was wilted, and the girls in the deli were way too busy pretending to be busy to help me. I stood there being ignored for over 5-10 minutes, while my MIL wandered off through the entire rest of the store, and I finally asked a guy carrying boxes if that section was closed. He asked them and told them I was waiting. They went right back to talking to each other, and never came out to help me. Told the guy at the front that I never got any of the deli meat I wanted, and he didn't seem to care either. I understand, perfectly. Back to SaveMart for me.

My family is so grateful to have 'Valley Food Market' in our neighborhood. Produce is fresh, good selection of basic staples with current Best If Used By Dates, fresh tasty salsa, frozen deserts, fresh vegetarian tamales, and good selection of 'Pan De Dulce'. It's been very convenient to dash down to VFM, rather than having to drive 2 miles to Raleys.

rude customer service, vegetables or fruits were all ugly and looked like they were about to expire. everything here is at least 2- 3 dollars more compared to your local foodmax or food 4 less. Hell even Rancho San Miguel has better pricing smh.. not recommend unless you really lazy to drive down lower sac.

When I first visited this place, it was way over priced, but I guess people complained, for their prices are much fairer than they were. They even have some deals! It is also very convenient if you live in Woodbridge.They also have great sandwiches and friendly staff!

I love this place and i love the fact that they have a variety of things to choose from and the owners and workers are so nice and welcoming, im just glad their in our neighborhood area.They are my to go place every time i need something.

Great selection of groceries and Hispanic spices, seasonings, and other ingredients! They also have a Taqueria and deli, but I have not been able to try either yet. So glad this market is here!

The prices are high but it is a nice market, they have a beautiful selection of meat , very well displayed. You can also get a selection of sandwiches and food for lunch and or dinner .

Purchased some carne asada to grill. Tasted old as if it were sitting there for days. Bought chicharrones too, which had a packaging date of 2 months ago. Never again. Avoid carniceria.
