Prices that you cannot be for any type of reptilian. It is a really cool atmosphere. And there. They actually have a big old turtle. That I wanted to buy just walk and around in there. Which is amazing makes you feel like you are somewhere else the people there. Hopping out people are very helpful and respectful. I would recommend us if you're going to buy a snake. Snakes are the best they go by your vibration. They cannot hear anything, but they do. Go by vibration and your heat signatures. So snakes are very amazing creatures. You should try it and go get one and hear. They have good pricing for the reptiles. And snakes and everything else that they have in there. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get a pet snake.

Sucks that the pictures for the business are the old Maggio location that was huge and awesome. I drove from elk grove (where theres actually a better location now), to find out it's a small store in a strip mall. A shadow of the former location. Theres a few live enclosures and some supplies. Definitely not worth the trip to go to "The Real One" .

I've gotten most of my tarantulas and their food, along with my gargoyle gecko and her bioactive enclosure there and I love this place. My kids love visiting to see all the critters and I always get knowledgeable and helpful service whenever I go in there.

You guys SUCK !!! for closing down Stockton location, I definitely won't be doing any more business with you guys reopen Stockton and I'll do business with you guys, maybe you can consider a better area in Stockton to reopen

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff! I came in and asked about 100 questions two days in a row and everyone I spoke with took their time in giving me detailed informative answers. Why shop at a big box chain when you can go somewhere you know they have your little buddies best interest at heart?

DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEIR WEBSITE! I ordered a water bowl and two hides for my ball python. I ordered directly from their website. After some time, I had not received any sort of confirmation that my package was being sent. I reached out to them, and they never responded I just suddenly had a confirmation from UPS that my package was on it's way. This is the condition that I received it. They forced them into a package that was too small, and broke both hides. I called them, their voice message says "Leave a message and we'll respond within two business days." I also sent them an email demanding a refund. They have never called me, or responded to my email. The only thing I could do was submit a claim with UPS. DO NOT BUY ONLINE, they are horrible.

This place is still the best place around for reptile supplies. They have everything that you would ever need for all your reptile needs including a wide selection of reptiles as well. I buy all my feeders from here. Rats(live or frozen), worms, and any thing that you would need to house, feed or decorate your reptiles new home. I love this place so much I have a platinum membership that save me 15% on all my purchases for a year.The serpentarium is ran by a very knowledgable staff and I will not shop anywhere else for my snakes and gecko.

Great customer service, I didn't catch her name but she helped me out with every question I had and wasn't rude or tried to make me feel dumb for asking a question. ( A lot of reptile shops will make you feel dumb for asking questions) She helped me out with my feed for my snakes and showed me what I can fees my giant day geckos and was knowledgeable about them since she said she has some too. Thank you!

I took 2 of my younger siblings, my 2 nephews and own 2 kids here on a weekday. It was a fun and educational visit. The kids all enjoyed themselves so much. I was able to take lots of pictures and it didn't break my bank account. The employees were all patient and helpful. We hope to come back soon. Thank you. :-)

I brought my bearded dragon in today for a free checkup. He's been acting different and I thought he might be in brumation hybernation. Morgan confirmed that it was brumation and I was so relieved, she said it's that time of year and her beardie is doing the same thing. Morgan and Ethan are very friendly, helpful and always offer lots of expert advice, they truly care about these animals and have a vast knowledge of everything related to reptiles. It's always such a great experience coming to the Serpentarium in Lodi. I always learn new information on how to best care for my pet and that means so much because he's part of our family. Thank you so much and a big shout out to Ethan and Morgan. I'll always go here for advice and supplies, they have everything I could ever need and such a vast knowledge and love for reptiles. I love this place. The staff is always so nice. And that's why we keep going to this location. Jim is the best and so knowledgeable. We bought our snake here. Lots to see and great prices. You get charged to go into a zoo so why would you complain about paying a small admission fee to see these animals?! Same thing in my book.

The smell of death in this place is insane. They had a sign saying they closed the doors at 3 because of the excessive heat. When i went inside they only had fans and it was hot af. Now my question is they are closing the store for public but what about the animals? Im pretty sure they are losing animals everyday and since its illegal to throw this much animals away in a dump they have these dead animals sitting somewhere in the back till they can dispose of them correctly. Its nasty its sad and pretty crazy how serpentarium is still in business. Health department and animal care services need to step in. Also if you are an employee there have a conversation with a lawyer, you have grounds to sue, you are working in inhumane conditions. Hope the best for the animals and employees.

This place is amazing! Has everything that I was looking for, they have all of the materials and insects to set up a bioactive terrarium and a breeding pair of captive bred red-eyed crocodile skinks! All of the animals here are well taken care of, unlike in all of the chain pet store that I have visited. They also provide services like boarding, health checks, and incubation. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well, answering ever question I had and showing me the different species that I had an interest in. Please, take the time to at least go and visit this place if you are curious.

Possibly the cleanest, most organized reptile shop I've visited. Their display enclosures are all beautiful and set up correctly for the animals on sale inside them, and all of the animals look perfectly healthy, have clean water, and are obviously well cared for. Their prices are definitely fair, and their products are all arranged in an easy to find, organized manner. I bought a blackthroat monitor from them and he is absolutely perfect.

Might be a great company/store in person but absolutely awful online. I waited 2 months for an order to get shipped, sent several emails inquiring as to the status of my order only to get no answer. Finally demanded a refund and opened a PayPal dispute and was blatantly lied to that no refund could be processed while a dispute was opened.Pushed the dispute to PayPal themselves and within 20 minutes I had a refund. Never order online from here, and if you look at the comments, you'll see I'm not the only one with a similar issue.
