I’ve gone to this store my entire life. The pricing is fair and the food is quality, but the meat department staff is an absolute disgrace to this facility. I have heard the staff make comments about women several times, including the supervisor. Disgusting. As a young woman, I should not have to worry about men starring at me while shopping for my household! The fact that the leadership in this facility also engage in this in appropriate behavior shows that this conduct is not only accepted, but PROMOTED. Women be careful!!!

So apparently, a cashier's, who's light is off, and clearly is finishing up with his customer... will go ahead and just take customers walking up to him asking if he's open instead of pulling from the people who are half a mile in line at the registered next to him. So if you're going to go to save mart and if the cashier's light is off. It's only a suggestion that they're closed. Feel free to just walk right up to them, and bypass everybody else who's been waiting in line...

Cashier David (thank god I kept my receipt for his name) has horrible customer service. Literally threw my items at me after scanning them . One almost went over the check out stand. He was on his phone while walking up to his lane . Didn’t greet us nothing . Horrible customer service . If David doesn’t like his job maybe he shouldn’t work in customer service !

So thankful for Save Mart in Lodi, we flew in from Oklahoma and they had our Thanksgiving holiday dinner ready for us on time ! It was a real blessing ! Nice clean store !McCoys from Oklahoma.

I have shopped at this location for 25 years(was Lucky's, then Albertsons, and now S-Mart, but same place and same employees)...and other stores. I prefer S-Mart over Raley's, because of the friendlier employees and lower prices.Produce section is well maintained and well stocked, a good amount of organic veggies and fruit, and the produce people know their stuff. Store is clean..always! Meat Dept will trim and cut per your request (like I had them cut a whole tenderloin into extra think fillet mignon for a special dinner, no prob), so...the butchers go the extra mile!Overall prices are competive and better than most during sales(which are always going on).

A very quaint grocery store. Really small but well stocked. People that work there seem pleasant. Was able to get what I wanted and checked out rather quickly.

Just wanted to say I ordered a cake for my Mom's birthday, Diego is a very friendly and helpful employee. He has great customer service skills. All the staff was wonderful. But he really impressed me.

Bakery Department: Staff is always kind and very helpful when ordering cakes and cupcakes. Loved the last two cakes they made for our Ariel themed party. I added the extra details on top of cakes. Cupcakes in background where also made by them.Thank you!

PROS: Plenty of regular parking spaces.Inviting, wide open areas inside entrances.This Lodi Avenue location is newly renovated vs. the Kettleman Lane location in Lodi, CA.Very good selection of most items.Interesting books near the greeting cards.Helpful employees, as they should be.CONS: Disabled parking spaces are far away.Rather narrow shopping aisles.Limited generic items: example eye drops vs. Visine $6 (no generic available).Checkout was a hassle because the SaveMart Rewards App didn't work properly: that held up other shoppers staring me down while we all had to wait for TWO different Managers to assess the situation, and the second manager manually entered the $6 off that I was entitled to from the Points I had earned in the past.RECOMMENDATIONS: Shop at Grocery Outlet, instead of enduring the allure of this store and smartphone App.

The app didnt work in the store. When I signed up I selected the phone number from the auto fill and somehow it added the 1 but the app do want use the 1 so when its filled it in I was missing the last 2 didgets. Then the edit button wont let you change the phone number. Im just deleting the app.

Always great service until today!!!! Wow!! That’s all I can say. Went to go into buy veggies and stuff for dinner for my aunt… well when you feel bad (death in family) try to look good … in line the checker paused and called a manager thinking I was loaded.. no had a sneeze attack and might have looked weird I guess… not use to Lodi and air conditioning.. major allergies… I was embarrassed in line in front of customers at 9:30 am!!!! WTF… I hate Lodi and vowed to never come back .. lived here for 5 years…. Manager is nice but this was soooo weird embarrassing and not called for..I have had to come her many times in the past 6 months all clerks are super nice… I will shop at Raleys for now on even though I can walk to this place.. my car is in Southern California… so disappointed .. maybe if I wore sweats and no make up I would fit in in this weird town

This place is managed well. The staff are attentive and helpful; always cheerful. never "put out". that comes from the top down, and the employees should be celebrated.How many times have you gone somewhere and you feel like you're putting the employee out for asking for a simple item.That never happens here. This is the type of supermarket that exists when corporate America has yet to take over.

Keep up with their weekly specials. Can find killer managers specials. We only buy our meat from here. Good price amd quality. Excellent produce. Fun little shoppers in training carts for the kids. Right now they have awesome spring flowers. Pricey but if you dont feel like searching around its a great option. We like being able to do self check out.

The difference is the people working here. Go to a grocery store and look at the employees. Do you trust them with your food? At Lodi S-MART I do trust them.. for years actually. Everything I want is here. Organic, one pot meals, fresh fruit and vegetables. Yes...

The Produce manager should receive three of the five stars for his own. There has been changes within the store....the coolers are nice. The employees are very helpful and polite. Compliments to the store front managers for keeping the place running smoothly.

The attitude of some of the employees is terrible, unfriendly, like a if they hate their boss. People, when you work in customer service you have to have customer service skills. Also their self checkout machines have WAY too many prompts! So not my favorite store.

I have usually enjoyed shopping at S-mart. They have some good sales and very good customer service, but on my last excursion I bought about 15 of the Sunnyside farms yogurt, I believe this is their brand. Anyways, got home opened one and it was curdeld... Gross! The next day my room mate opened up another took a bite and it also was curdeld and had a round spot of black mold!!!! Ugh! As if that was not enough I bought some vitamins and they had been tampered with! I got home to find the seal on the bottle tore open and the pills half gone. I know it is truly not their fault , the vitamins were tore open by someone trying to get some pills for free I guess... But vitamins? Strange... Anyways, my yogurts were not expired and also I went straight home, so I assume that one of the worker's at S-mart probably got sidetracked and left a pallet of yogurt out in the hot 🔥 sun . I don't know what happened but this shopping 🛍️ trip sure was a bummer! Maybe next time, I will give them one more chance!

What your getting here is quality. Defenitly on the expensive side. Everything here you can find at Wal-Mart for less. But what your getting here is quality goods, OUTSTANDING customer service and a ridiculously CLEAN environment. You can tell they take pride in there store. Also gots a little mini deli/hot food bar. Like a little all you can eat lunch bar. With tables an chairs to boot. Would of been 5 stars if not for prices. If you have the cash, go here.

I've shopped Savemart the last 4 yrs 2x weekly. While I love the store and friendly helpful employees I don't love waiting in line forever and that's always been a problem with both lodi Savemarts 1 closed.Once was so bad I called the store after 40min from the long line of customers waiting to check out to ask if they would send cashiers since they don't ever look up to see the backup of 20 people waiting. I've left its been so bad. That's management not employee's.

S Mart...This is my "go to" store in Lodi it has always been neat and clean and the prices are pretty good. They're only beat on price by the help yourself warehouse stores. They just replaced all of the flooring and rearranged all of the product. The moving of product isn't my favorite. I enjoyed knowing exactly where to find the items I like best. But I'll get used to it.The staff... Good people, friendly and they always seem to be smiling. I've never had an issue with the quality of service.The deli is always good as well as are the meats and the produce is fresh.My only complaint, and this applies to all grocery stores, the fruit is too green. Fortunately Lodi has a great, well attended farmers market with just about anything you could want. But I have noticed that there are small displays where they have limited amounts of ripe fruit "Fresh from the tree" or something close to that. It's a good start and I have picked up a piece or 2. I mean really, we live in california quick drive to the outskirts of town and you can choose from the freshest tree ripened fruit and it cost next to nothing compared what they pay back east for a peach that doubles as a baseball.I like this store. I would suggest going for a while, familiarize yourself with the various staff and maybe you'll stick around. I bet you do.When I shop is 10pm or later. It's nice and quiet, no lines and you're in and out as quick as you want to be.They're open 7 days and nights a week till midnight, happy shopping.And tell them I sent you, A Googler.... They'll look at you kind of funny but what the heck we all do anyway....lol.

My review on your local Lodi,California S-Mart is this Y'all!! At first after they S-Mart Cooperate Office's decided to do a whole store remodel it took awhile for customer's to locate their item's like before. Granted they S-Mart had basically a Store Map that had all the item's & in what ilse that item was in. The cray cray part about is that thangs that used to be together down one ilse was now seemed like 10 ilse away from one another.After awhile though people were getting used to the New Setup S-Mart had done. Have to say what an amazing job 👏🏽 the Company/Companies had done with the store layout.S-Mart for the most part stays pretty good being stocked up on item's now a days way better. Obviously & I think alot of you would agree that one of the only thangs wrong with S-Mart is the prices huh everyo1ne?Let me know what you all think 🤔 about this S-Mart? The staff is polite and knowledgable. The produce section is clean and well organized.The 5 for $25 deal in the meat section is a life saver. I always stock up for the month.I have recommended this location to friends.

Updated review: S-Mart dropped their awesome flavored milk vendor and replaced them with a supplier that makes some gross and undesirable flavors. Minus one star and minus an occasional customer.Previous review: Great store. I found orange cream milk and root beer float milk in a glass bottle. Happy to find unique items!

Produce section is terrible. Poor choices and high prices. Had a cashier charge me twice for one $18 case of dog food. Check your receipt before leaving the store.
