This is more than just a plain grocery store. They have a salsa bar, a deli with excellent burritos, a bakery with delicious cakes as well as one of the largest meat counters I've seen in a long time. Produce here is of excellent quality and great selection including things I've never seen in a normal store. Nice selection of Mexican groceries and meats.

Zero stars on the tamales…. customer service was OK. People were pretty polite. hardly any meat at all in the tamales tons of MASA …righteously the tamales are my only complaint…

Worst place ever. Went to order some food. The service clerk was rude, like we were inconvenienting her. I ordered the Chili Verde plate. Beans had zero flavor and the meat was tough, like it was over boiled. Not one person was friendly. Never going back there again!

I went to rancho today in Lodi to get a Chile verde dinner for my family . First of all the service was horrible the lady’s all look mad their was 3 of them they took forever to prepare my order took them almost 30 min to prepare or what ever they was doing .then my rice , and beans and , verde all tasted old . I think I saw one of the lady’s get my beans, and rice out of a refrigerator already in a container like she was trying to get rid of the old food. the food tasted like it was two days old horrible service. I never tasted such old nasty food, and never want to buy from their again I might have to drive all the way to Stockton because how horrible the customer service was and how horrible the food was I’m in disbelief. Someone need to tell those lady to look more friendly and to not give customers old food who eats two day old rice or even one day old what a disgrace. Especially since I’m Mexican I could just made it my damn self.

A local grocery store that caters mainly to the huge Hispanic community that lives in the area. Great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables amazing selection of Bakery items along with fresh Meats and Seafood all at amazing affordable prices

Kind people work here who accommodate me and my dog that I am required to have with me at all times. Anytime I have a question or special need they offer assistance with a smile and sometimes even make good short talk.

Lots of parking. Area is not the greatest. Guess I should brush up on my Spanish. Otherwise, you won't get very far in that store. Bathrooms are locked, so you have to wait for an employee to open the door, but at least there are bathrooms. It's a decent sized grocery store. Wheelchair accessible and handicap parking. ♿️

I purchased a Moana tres leches cake on Sunday 8/27 and cut it on Monday 8/28 and the milk inside of it was spoiled, not good anymore. That’s too bad :((Kids took the Moana rings off the cake that’s why they aren’t shown)

Have you ever been denied gas because you were only buying $1 worth?? Neither have I until just now...I can think of several reasons why someone might buy only $1 in gas, but today, mine was b/c my gas gage is not working and I was abt to run out. Being the closest gas station at the time, I drove up here and found I only had one dollar in change on me (my wallet being in my toolbox at my shop). Seeing as it was an emergency, I said screw it and went inside to pay $1 for enough gas to get me back to my shop w/o breaking down on the road. Politely, I asked the attendant for $1on my pump number and presented him with the change. Much to my surprise, the attendant, who was named Makeel (I think) looked at me with a smug "I'm better than u" look and told me "$1 only? No. No gas." When I questioned him several times for a reason, he just glared at me, shook his head, and said "no gas." He's lucky I needed to get to another station b4 I ran out of gas, otherwise I would've smacked that smug look off the P.O.S.'s face! The other gas station up the road, by the way, had no qualms with my $1 purchase and took the change without question...For the record, this place is no longer part of Rancho San Miguel Market and has been independently owned/operated for at least a year now.

01/13/2022I has been a few years since i rated this place. I only went to the deli today. The customer service is still very good. The breakfast burrito I had was not bad. I just remember it being more flavorful. The posole was really greasy. Based on the food, I am lowering this from a four star to a two star.About two year agoI usually go to the deli and the food is good. I sometimes pick up a few items when I'm there. The selection is not great but I usually find what I need.

Good prices. Dirty outside. Produce is a hit and miss. The hot food/deli type counter is on point. Great authentic Mexican food. They have awesome daily deals, just check the ads. Friendly enough check out people. They dont have certain items though, like cottage cheese.

I enjoy this store! I love the deli as the food is tasty and authentic. I also appreciate the bakery with its fresh and yummy goodies and the salsa and ceviche bar. The fresh meat counter is also a favorite because of the selection and varied cuts of meats, both fresh and seasoned/marinated and the great prices. The store is always clean and the employees are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. This store is a gem in Lodi!

They have a kitchen/bakery which makes mexican style meals and baked goods. Excellent menu. Very very good! Full grocery & meat market.

I always love coming here. All the tortillas are fresh. They have exclusive things you won't find in regular stores like Safeway. Everyone here is very nice. The one gripe I have is there's sometimes lines at the check out. I guess because of COVID they're not running all the lines to keep a safe distance and that makes sense. So really just the long lines which aren't all the time but they suck when they're there

If I could I would give 0 stars. Employees are super rude specially the old man that runs the meat department, all the associates are rude!!!!! The chick with the gold tooth that works at the meat department was grabbing my meat as she was eating a piece of bread smh!!!!!!!!!!! Love rancho San Miguel but customer service is no good!!!!

Can you give a half star or perhaps no star rating at all? Went to the bakery and was going to order a cake. I asked for a cake for hubby's 60th birthday. Told her I wanted 6 roses one for each decade. I was told it would 15.00 for 2 additional roses as there is a limit of 4 now per cake no matter the size of the cake. I can see if it was a cake that I wanted to have custom ordered with a kit. Or a cake that had a ton of special designs but 2 additional roses? I asked why so much and I was told the frosting costs a lot. Well, first of all they use bettercreme and and as a former cake decorator I can tell you that 2 roses take maybe 2 minutes if that and bettercreme is not that expensive. You can go to any foodservice store and get a gallon that you have to whip for less than 15.00 and it makes at least 4 full sheet cakes. Not sure who the decorator is but I have used this store for over 10 years and have had nothing but issues for the last 3 to 4 years and the sad thing I have talked to the manager Joann in the past and get nothing as its obvious she could care less about the customers that shop this store. I have over the years sent a lot of my teacher friends as well as family there and sadly I will be posting my experience in our workroom asking them not to patronize Rancho San Miguel in Lodi anymore and will be posting it on my facebook page too for my family friends and other parents to see. Hey folks, fyi there are a lot of other bakeries and stores that are less expensive and better, take your business elsewhere as it is apparent that this store does not care about its customers.

I have never had any complaints towards this store. It's got good prices, the food here is amazing (taco salad is what I had). The cashier's are polite, store is lively, people are considerate of others. Great store to go to

Not the best stocked store; I don't understand why the employees speak Spanish to everyone... I speak both languages, but I would prefer to be spoken to in English like Every other store. They have this new thing we're the check your reciept when you leave. It is the most ANNOYING thing and it's INCONSISTENT. One day they just let you walk by barely glancing at it and other times they want to hold you up and inspect what I JUST PAID FOR. I started going to this store because I moved closer, but I'm willing to drive to another store for better service and experience. Also, their prices are often higher than their sister store Food 4 Less!

My favorite Mexican store in Lodi. You can find anything and everything Mexican here at this Supermarket. I say supermarket because it is literally the same size as a main stream grocery store. Although I don't speak Spanish very well the cashiers are super friendly and always greet you with a smile. If you can't find it here it doesn't exist 😊

One of my favorite Mexican Markets its truly a one stop for everything. Fresh baked good, butcher meat, pre prepared foods, and regular supermaket items. Taquiera food is delicious
