I usually have a positive experience here, today not so much. The cashier up front with the pony tail and red tattoo on her neck was not very friendly and seemed to have an attitude. As someone who works in the grocery field myslef for many years this is not how you treat customers. No matter the race, age, and ect. We treat all customers with the same amount of dignity and respect. Very disappointed food 4 less.

Purchased a new gallon of milk, that same night I opened the jug and it smelled rotten. The expiration date was 2 weeks from date of purchase . I threw it out. Yesterday I went in for some sausages and they tasted gross. I cracked an egg to make breakfast this morning and the eggs were semi solid… I really hope food4less is not turning off their fridges overnight..

Great place for everyday essentials. Best prices and very clean atmosphere. Fresh produce, meats and bakery in store. I usually get all my groceries here. Highly recommended.

Cashier charged me for 5 bags when I bought only one. When I told her, she pretended to remove the extra bags and told me she thought I was with the couple in front of me. Never mind that she had to remove one of those plastic separators to start ringing me up.

Food for less in lodi is one of my favorite places to shop for produce always fresh and nicely set up ....the butcher behind the counter was friendly and very helpful and eager to help ...store is very clean and following covid guidelines...keep the good work up guys ...and remember live life and have fun...be safe out there.

This is our home town Food 4 Less. Love the store. My wife and I have gotten to know a lot of the staff and have become friends with some. The food selection is stellar and the prices are more than fair especially in this time of outrageous inflation.

A lot of great prices on many items. The produce tends to be not as good a other large supermarkets. Meat section has more ethnic selections (ex: beef tongue and tripe) and not as many of the higher price items (ex: filet mignon) which neither good or bad. Usually good about plenty of checkstands

Limited in choices of products. Good prices on some items. Jonathan in meat department very nice and helpful. $6.98 a pound for rib eye steaks. Butcher's in need of some training. Not the best cutting some meats. You have to look carefully.

Great prices and the staff was very helpful getting my disabled father a cart-- it was missing a key lol. I go there by myself and shop all the time, but it's nice to know if he's up to going out they'll help where they can. EDIT TO ADD: Right.now is most Affordable option for feeding a family.

Staff very friendly, giving only 4 stars do to the fact that they had no mandarins! 😱Produce had tons of tangerines but not mandarins. Also didn't have Bubbly pineapple/coconut.Will be back though for other items. 😎

First time at this store and the a older lady at the register near the flowers section. Was ruded, pushy and she overcharged me $27.50 on my transactions.For items that was on sales 50% off. I am sorry that I had to experience this from this location. Modesto & Stockton location surpassed this location by far.

Good value for your money. Decent selection. Friendly staff for the most part. Wish they had Red Mills bulgar wheat in their inventory. Bought shrimp fresh and made it tonight which was great after marinating in garlic, butter, milk and lemon. Delicious! Their discount baskets at the front are still expensive. I look every time but there wasn't much value in that stuff.

The selection of items is not as large as other stores but the prices are cheaper. I may not find the brand I want but they usually have a substitute brand. Most of the time the veggie produce is good. The check out staff is usually friendly and helpful.

Don't let the "no-thrills, no-frills" atmosphere fool you. It's a great store with friendly/helpful employees and low prices! We save at least half on everyday things we buy opposed to the other more popular stores in the surrounding area.

Great service, selection and affordability. Left Walmat across the street right when we walked in because they had two registers open and at least a dozen customers in each line wrapped around the check-out lanes. Food 4 Less had one register open but only one person in front of me at the register. Way easier shopping trip here.

I love this store! Always clean. Cashiers are super friendly and always ask if I found everything ok and remind me if I need ice or bags. Just can't anything but good things about this store! Shout out to Jasmine and Angelo!!!

I enjoy shopping at Food 4 Less. The store is always clean easy to maneuver , and the produce is excellent. And no long lines at the checkout. I was in Walmart before I went to Food 4 Less looked for some nice round steak to make Swiss steak. All the steaks they had for that we're cut 1/4 inch thick. Who in the world buys quarter inch thick steak. Found exactly what I needed at Food 4 less.

I waited in line while the cashier allowed the customer ahead of me to check out five different transactions for five people who where not in the store. Then she decided to go on break when it was my turn and did a very poor job of switching cashiers, I will not be back!!!

Okay store with good deals but horrible produce. When browsing the fruits and vegetables I immediately noticed the peaches and cantelopes were rotten, the strawberries were partially moldy, and the potatoes were spoiling. Made me very cautious of what else I bought based on these observations. Otherwise short lines that would have moved quickly if the cashiers and other staff members were not having personal conversations. Not eager to return to this location.

Visited during covid pandemic. I haven't been to a Food 4 Less in years. Usually do my shopping at Walmart but they've been closing super early. Im glad I settled. Store was definitely a lot cleaner than I remember. And I'm not sure if it's just because of the location or time of day (9pm) but the store was pretty much empty which made shopping and social distancing compared to a walmart super easy! I definitely reccomend this location for a big shopping trip or even a quick pick up dinner trip.

I love this store!!!! Knowing that it is Safeway foods moved right across the street, but wayyyy cheaper on prices...That's why I go there...Produce is EXCELLENT and the store is really clean with very helpful employees.Yessss..you have to bag your own groceries, but it's all worth it!!!

Usual grocery store with low prices. Occasionally, you can get chuck eye steaks for grilling here. It's the best price since Safeway and smart and final only seem to carry choice (expensive) meats.

When I got to the check out my debit card was refused 3 times, I told the lady, her name is Colleen, I would be right back. Went to the bank and I got the issue taken care of. Went back to the Food4Less and Colleen had bagged my groceries and I paid with cash. Colleen really represents outstanding customer service. How many times do the cashiers hear the I will be right back. Thanks

Food4less is a well stocked, clean, friendly and well lit grocery store. On the flip side, their produce is fresh, but close to not. And their meats look very good, the quality reflects their lower prices. Despite my every efforts, the meats continue to be tough and chewy. But you can't go wrong on pre packaged items. Dairy, and canned goods-often dented-arw at or slightly below other stores prices. I frequently have difficulty opening those cans! As for breads and cereals and pastas, weevils have continuously been an issue. Best to steer clear of oat meal, flour, and things packed in cardboard cuz they (bugs) can chew thru the packaging.
