Came in around 12:30 to get restringing done on 3 rackets. I said at the desk, I needed the rackets same day. It’s not a commonly played sport so I couldn’t imagine many people coming in for the same service. But if they couldn’t do it in that time frame it would’ve been fine and I could’ve looked elsewhere. The associate said he could get it done around 4:30. I came in around 4:30 and it wasn’t done which would normally be fine with me but I hear him complaining to another employee about how I came in at 2 expecting it by 4:30. If I was told the service couldn’t be done, that would’ve been fine. The problem is the fact that this employee was complaining about doing his job and exaggerating the time i requested the service. I paid full price and didn’t give any attitude at any point before or after but if this is how they do business, it’s pathetic. Would not recommend this type of service from them again.

On two different occasions here I’ve had items ring up at the checkout 20-30% higher than the price marked on the display. The second time I asked an employee about it and she gave me the marked price. However, this seems dishonest to me so I think I will be going to REI next time instead - they have a better selection, their employees are friendlier, and they don’t play games with their customers like this.

Not a horrible place to go to but not a great selection of items as well. Always clean when I've gone in. Staff is friendly and helps to the best of their ability, could use more cashier's always seems to be a wait when you want to pay.Update I feel like they they have definitely stepped up there game it's nice that the workers aren't always stepping on my heels now maybe cause they recognize me know but if that's the case they are judgemental based on how you look. But I will keep shopping here do to the fact that that I know my way around the store and they have the basics that we need when we go out fishing. The pricing is reasonable but the wait at the register remands the same.

Disappointed... I will switch to Big 5 Sporting Goods because of their better return policy. I paid $65 for Nike shoes, had receipt, and offered me $21 for them because outside of return policy.😅 I kept the shoes though, they never put them on sale for $21... I will rather donate them. 😉

Worst customer service. Tried to purchase a glove for my son. At register it was coming up $20 over what it was priced. Was told I would get a price check waited 10 minutes only to see 3 associates whispering about me and laughing.

Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. On my last visit I couldn't find an item in the Nike section and even though she was busy restocking she took the time to walk me over and find the specific headband. They keep their store organized.

We had two bikes we purchased a few years back and mostly sat. I called and spoke with Andrew, who told me to simply bring them in and he would check them out. I was pretty excited, we bought our youngest a bike for her birthday so we needed something to ride with her.Andrew gave me a basic rundown on both bikes conditions and gave me an estimated pick up date of a little over a week, but mentioned he would call us.Two days later!!! We got a call everything was ready and there wasn’t much more wrong than our first discussion the other day!Came to pick the bikes up and the Techs, Andrew and Eddie, had our bikes looking so much better and functioning so much better! I tried to do a review on the website, but had a hard time so because we were treated so well and had amazing services I wanted to do a review somewhere!!Again, thanks Andrew and Eddie for you amazing service, your get it done attitude, and skill!!! The only reason I have given it two stars is that it easy to find. All of their stores that I have been in are under staffed, this one was by far the worst.It also appears that the anti gun attitude goes so far as to have virtually no ammunition. All I wanted was 12g target loads. The selection was so small my choices were only two.The Fairfield store is great compared to this one. However if you want target loads go to to Walmart or Sportsman's Warehouse. They have a much better selection and pricing.

DSG curbside was great! I checked in which took no longer than 30 sec and an associate came out with my purchase in clear bags so you can verify product . They were very prompt. Took me no more than 4-5 mins for whole pick up. Curbside is the norm now everywhere so let's hope everyone keeps up. #stickNmove

Went in for a Racquet restringing, was told they would be done Monday. Showed up on Monday, was then told they might be done by next week, they were too busy. 2 problems with that; a customer needed a glove steamed, they got on the intercom and get them out of there in 20 minutes. Next, I couldn't even cancel my order and take them somewhere else, as services were non-refundable. I couldn't even take my racquets somewhere else without being out money.

Absolutely love this store and for the most part the employees. Couldn't find a sould to help me in the shoe department but still ended up spending more then planned. They have awesome products.

Camping section is really lacking as is the shoe department. Women's tennis shoes(actually for tennis) are non existent and most of the shoes on the shelves are for running, men's sports or casual wear. The amount of men's sport specific shoes far exceeds those for women. Copeland's was such a better store but they went out of business years ago. On a positive note, if you're looking for workout clothes or hydroflask bottles there's a good selection here.

The selection at the Lodi location is limited. Also, the staff doesn't really help much when looking for a particular item. I'm much more inclined to go to the Eight Mile location instead, but a good place to go when in a pinch to find something last minute.

Surpisingly they have a pretty good selection of kayaking gear. Their fishing and hunting selection has all of the basics, only bad part is their online selection is much better.

I was looking for womens hiking shorts and something with a 9 inch inseam. They had no inventory on that scale but plenty of shorts with a 3 inch inseam. Disappointing they don't have hiking shorts.

When they make a mistake, they are unwilling to rectify the situation. The manager was short and abrupt and failed to inform us that we were supposed to call the 877 number to get our particular issue handled. I had to call a different location to find that out.
