I was passing through Lodi made it here just in time before they closed. Service is amazing. Staff is amazing. Great conversation good people definitely a place. I’ve come back many times over.

The Carters location in Lodi is absolutely amazing! The store is always sparkling clean with everything that I need. I am able to call ahead of time and ask if they carry the items that I'm looking for. Most all of the employees know me by my first name and always greet me with a warm welcome. Without failing, they offer to help me out every time I leave

Used to be best pet shop around..I buy alot of fish/reptiles ect. But in the last 3 months everything I bought has had peresites or an infection of some kind lucky for some of the fish I was able to nurs them back to health but it's along prosses. If your not ready to take care of sick fish I would suggest another pet store...

Bow WOW Carters Pet Mart has everything I need to keep my Kitteh all happy, a vast supply of toys, treats, cat maintenance, Furbulous Soaps. I really like this pace , definitely will make this my place to pickup cat goodies, also they have the Cat-Fresh-Pet kibbles , I can't wait to see how much Sierra likes them .

There is a guy at Carters that answered every question I had about my Iguana. His name is Alex. He also seemed very intelligent about a lot of things. The store made a Great decision to hire him if he doesn’t own the store. I was very pleased with the entire store after that and will be going back as soon as the kids need something more. Tell your friends Alex is the guy to talk to.

Needed a chain for my baby boy, Franc, after he snapped his at Lodi Lake. Franky was in car. Nee chain was too short. Ran right back in for a larger size. Cashier promptly exchanged and that made the rest of my day so much better then it would have been just having him off the chain... He's like a bull in a China shop.

Whoever is in charge of the fish department has no clue what they’re doing. I expected more, considering who runs the stockton fish department. You can’t house goldfish with other fish that aren’t other goldfish or koi, aggressive fish were mixed in with community fish. It was a mess, tried to raise my concerns to a lady at the front and they waved me off. There were also so much dead fish in all the tanks. Go to Randy’s Fish Palace in stockton, or just go to the carter’s in stockton for fish stuff, not here, you’ll just get bad advice or dead fish in a few days. The other negative reviews even acknowledge this, stay away from their fish and reptile department.

Very poor customer service, young girls talking and playing on their phone at register, little to no care about customers. Well stocked store but have fun finding things on your own and prices. This happens almost every single time I go in there, just ridiculous, get a grip on your store!!!

Tons of different food options for my dog to choose from. Not just the typical brands either. Great selection of organic, and just flat out, quality products. Same can be said for their selection in toys, treats, collars, leashes, etc.Plus, they had a real life Pokemon there.....a chinchilla that was bouncing all around its enclosure!

Didn't go through the entire store, but they seem to have a large variety and supplies. Prices on the one item I did purchase was very good. I will come by here again.

Wide variety of pets and supplies. My daughter was going nuts over the turtles and the parrots, even though we went for fish supplies. She loves all animals, even got upset that I was calling the tarantula they had small.😜

Employees were standing around talking at register with another friend that came in it appeared as we wondered around searching for what we wanted, had to go to register to but in and ask where items were and it was a quick point and off they went back to visiting, had to just choose some items and hope they worked out for my fur babies, spent 30-45 minutes in store trying to figure out items and prices going back and forth to the 3 people standing around registers. I went there because they have the fusion pet food local but it was such a hassle that I think I will go back to the other pet shop even though it’s a 45 minute drive at least they will help and they know what products they have.

This is a new location for Carter's Pet Mart. It's not as crowded and plenty of room to navigate the isles, unlike the Hammer Lane store. Prices are reasonable and competitive. You need to know your prices and deals can be found. Staff was attentive and welcoming.

Carter's has a massive selection of bones and other things to chew on that my Husky / Shepard Mix loves. The selection is larger and much cheaper than Petco, plus his dog food is $3-4 cheaper per bag with buy 10 get 1 free deals.

Love this place, I found my dogs food cheaper here. The staff always says hello when we walk in, animals look very healthy, cages are clean and is my go to place now for not only my dogs but my foster kittens needs.
